- 1 cup Greek yogurt, at room temperature
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste (Optional)

See a perfect example of Authentic Turkish Breakfast in an old-style decorated Turkish House Konak. The secret is in the hands. All the food, presentation, the mansion konak house are made by village women in Sayitabat Village in Bursa City. They make their tomato paste, jams, butter, and many more in the season. They serve this beautifully presented breakfast using copper old-style pans, bowls and even table trays.
This is like an introduction to what they serve. I know it could have been more detailed. But since we talked more generally about the Turkish culture, association, how it is found, and more, I tried to explain the dishes on the table as much as I can...

Turks usually prefer a rich breakfast. A typical Turkish breakfast consists of cheese (beyaz peynir, kaşar etc.), butter, olives, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, jam, honey, and kaymak, sucuk (spicy Turkish sausage, can be eaten with eggs), pastırma, börek, simit, poğaça and soups are eaten as a morning meal in Turkey. A specialty for breakfast is called menemen, which is prepared with tomatoes, green peppers, onion, olive oil and eggs. Invariably, Turkish tea is served at breakfast. The Turkish word for breakfast, kahvaltı, means before coffee (kahve, 'coffee'; altı, 'under').

Turkish Breakfast In A Village ????????Köy Kahvaltısı Cumalıkızık Bursa
Have you ever wondered what turkish breakfast at home in a village is like? We tried a traditional Turkish breakfast in the village of Cumalıkızık at the foot of Mount Uludağ in Bursa, Turkey. Trust us when we say this was an absolutely unforgettable experience. This will definitely be on our list of best Turkish breakfast options. If you are looking for Turkish breakfast food ideas, Cumalıkızık kahvaltı is a must.
Also, we're sure many of you are wondering. This amazing village kahvalti (or Turkish Breakfast) was about 60₺ which is roughly $10.43 USD.

Menemen is a traditional Turkish breakfast basically scrambled eggs and tomatoes with a bit of a kick from flaked red pepper. Onions are also an option!

The ingredients are below, add onion if you wish. Peel the tomatoes and chop everything finely. I am a little less refined in terms of chop size. Pul Biber is red pepper flakes and add the final kick. This was all cooked by the Med in Northern Cyprus as the sun came up.
Recipe as follows - cook peppers and onions if you have them for 3 minutes first, then add the tomatoes. Add the eggs either whole and cook through or scramble them into the tomatoes and peppers.

4 tomatoes (1 cup peeled and diced)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper
