In today's RV living vlog, we take a Tour of My Winnebago Travato 59KL National Park Edition Class B Camper Van.
I finally got my new RV, a Winnebago Travato 59KL National Park edition!!!
I picked up my Winnebago Travato 59KL National Park Edition last week and have been making this van life dream camper into my tiny home on wheels. I figured it was time for a good old fashioned RV tour. This camper van tour / van tour / RV tour will cover the outside and inside of my new Winnebago Travato 59KL National Park edition Class B campervan motorhome.
I bought this campervan with full time RV living in mind. I have been fascinated with the RV lifestyle and the tiny home movement for a while. I've been a minimalist for the last 5 years and began living in nothing but studio apartments a few years ago. So the transition into the RV life in the Winnebago Travato has been pretty easy.
Even though it is a tiny home on wheels this RV has plenty of storage space. I'm a bit spoiled with all the upgrades that the Winnebago Travato 59KL National Park Edition class b van comes with. I am still preparing for life on the road and the quote/unqoute vanlife RV living, RV lifestyle! But it's been a ton a fun.

Our New 2022 Winnebago Travato 59kl Camper Van – Delivery Walkthrough
Diane and I were excited about getting a thorough walkthrough tour of our new camper van by a knowledgeable Poulsbo technician. This beautiful, shiny red and black RV van is loaded with complicated features and systems, and we were anxious to receive delivery in time to make our Coupeville ferry reservations at 1 p.m. But as the technician began to point out and explain the purpose of the many switches and buttons, and how to operate the unfamiliar equipment it became apparent, to his own admission, that he was not familiar with this specific Winnebago model. Unfortunately, the delivery walkthrough was an awkward, frustrating disaster.
Background:
After selling our 2001 Fleetwood Bounder 32h on consignment for just $13,000, essentially giving it away, we missed camping with our good friends. Diane and I decided to look for a Class B camper van. We wanted a much smaller RV that was easier to drive, much less of a gas hog, and which we could use like any of our vehicles for driving to local parks and shopping, or long-distance trips traveling on busy highways and interstates, camping at RV campgrounds with hookups, no hookups, or boondocking wherever we happened to be, including driving up narrow gravel fire roads to remote campgrounds. The problem was, a lot of people were looking for such an RV, and when a new or used one in good condition came on the market, it was quickly snatched up! When I found this beautiful red and black 2022 Winnebago Travato 59kl, with only 23K miles for sale at Poulsbo RV in Mt. Vernon, Washington, about a 3-hour trip with ferry ride, I jumped on it sight unseen putting a $3,000 hold down payment. The total price: $160,708. Yikes!
Thus began our journey as new owners of a high-end camper van, and our experience after just three single nights of camping has been fun, challenging, and a little disappointing.
Yet I am certain that once we get familiar with all the complicated systems and technology, and most importantly living in a very tight space, we will have some amazing RV adventures.

Pack your bags and head out across the country in this Travato Class B gas motorhome! The two twin beds can convert into a king-size bed if you're traveling with your friend or spouse, and there is a convenient rear wet bath to freshen up every day. Prepare breakfast on the two-burner cooktop or in the convection microwave, and the pull-out countertop extension will give the chef more space to prep. The driver's seat can swivel to use this countertop as a table, and the swivel passenger's seat can use the additional adjustable/removable table for coffee. Spend your evening watching a movie on the 24 HDTV, or head outside to sit under the 13' power awning with LED lights and Bluetooth control!
Efficiency meets comfort in the Travato Class B gas motorhome by Winnebago. The 215W solar panels and the energy management system allow you to go off-grid when the adventure calls for it, and the Coleman Mach 10 NDQ A/C will keep you comfortable during the hot summer months. If the weather is nice out, set up the power awning with LED lights or stay inside with the side and rear screen doors closed to keep the bugs out. Each model includes plenty of storage space, including RAM Tough-Track Mounts throughout, Anything Keeper drop-down storage baskets, plus below-floor storage for your outside gear. The Travato also includes a Corian countertop and a spice rack in the galley, a convenient medicine cabinet and mirror in the bath, plus LED ceiling lights throughout to keep everything bright and open! Some of the new additions to the Travato are the Bluetooth sound bar, Honeycomb composite insulated flooring, convenience door strap, and the monitor panels that have been relocated above the sliding door.

Could this be the Travato killer Class B RV?
Winnebago announced this new pop-top Class B RV built on the RAM ProMaster chassis. It has some cool features I like. It has several features that I don’t like. And the placement of the fridge/freezer?
