We start our journey in Teknaf, a small town on the border of Bangladesh and Myanmar. From here, we head out to sea in a small speed boat. The waves are already starting to pick up as we leave the shore, and the wind is whipping through our hair.
As we get closer to Saint Martin Island, the waves get even bigger. We have to hold on tight as the boat bounces up and down in the water. The spray from the waves is soaking us, but we don't care. We're having too much fun!
Finally, we reach Saint Martin Island. We jump out of the boat and run onto the beach. We're exhausted but exhilarated. We've just survived a dangerous but amazing journey.
If you're looking for a thrilling and unforgettable experience, then I highly recommend speed-boat surfing from Teknaf to Saint Martin Island. It's not for everyone, but if you're up for the challenge, you won't regret it.

While we do give some consideration to user reviews, we don't always mark a campground off our list just because of a handful of poor reviews! Unfortunately, we paid the price this time and will now consider ALL reviews that pertain to power shortages and general upkeep! Let our mistake save you the drama of dealing with a park manager that thinks your big rig is taking all the power out of their park. One highlight that came from this huge inconvenience, is that our next campground, just outside of Glacier National Park, was able to accommodate us four days early! Thanks to getting kicked out, we got to see Glacier three times instead of just once, which we originally had planned! Oh, and our new campground had plenty of electricity for ALL of the rigs in their campground and was well kept!
