Torrevieja is a coastal town and center of tourism in the south of Alicante province in Costa Blanca, Spain. It is situated within the district of Vega Baja and has a population of 90,000 inhabitants. Torrevieja is 41 km away from Alicante to the north, 23 km from Elche to the northwest, and 53 km from Murcia in the southeast. Torrevieja has a protected Natural Park with two salt lakes, and 20 km of coastline containing six large beaches - La Mata, Cabo Cervera, Los Locos, El Cura, Los Náufragos and Ferris - and about 20 coves with an abundance of cliffs.

Inland, the Lagunas de la Mata-Torrevieja Nature Park has trails and 2 salt lakes, one pink and the other green.

Today I invite you for a beautiful walk in Torrevieja in Costa Blanca Spain.
Torrevieja is a city in the province of Alicante in southeastern Spain on the Costa Blanca.
It is known for its beaches and Mediterranean climate. Along the sandy coastline, built up with hotels, the embankment stretches.
The main attraction of the center of Torrevieja is the Inmaculada Concepción Catholic Church. The church was built in neoclassical style. It was first erected in 1789, but during the earthquake of 1829 it was practically wiped off the face of the earth, and later completely reconstructed.
The coastline of Torrevieja is 25 kilometers.
Torrevieja has many natural attractions, a beautiful long promenade lined with monuments and sculptures, ideal for walking and relaxing, as well as several beautiful parks and shopping places.

The weather in Torrevieja has the ideal climate for enjoying sun all year round. The region enjoys approximately 320 days of sunshine each year and is why it is popular in both Summer and Winter.

Torrevieja Spain - Walking Tour 2021
Torrevieja is located on the Costa Blanca, Valencian Comunity, Spain, about 50 kilometers south of Alicante - Elche airport and 36 kilometers from Corvera - Murcia Airport.
Torrevieja is surrounded by 2 salt lakes, the Laguna Salada de la Mata and the Laguna Salada de Torrevieja. Torrevieja has very nice sandy beaches such as Los Locos, El Acequión, Los Náufragos, La Mata and El Cura, all of them have been awarded with the European Blue Flag for clean water and excellent facilities. The sea front includes a beautiful Marina and a nice long promenade (Paseo) with many restaurants, bars and shops.
Torrevieja enjoys a beautiful Mediterranean climate, which means short winters and long summers. The city offers 320 days of sunshine which makes perfect destination with a lot of sunny days and blue skies. The average daily temperatures in June, July and August reach 30 Celsius.

Torrevieja or Torrevella is a seaside city and municipality located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante, on the southeastern Mediterranean coast of Spain.
