Guinea-Bissau is a tropical country on West Africa’s Atlantic coast that’s known for national parks and wildlife. The forested, sparsely populated Bijagós archipelago is a protected biosphere reserve. Its main island, Bubaque, forms part of the Orango Islands National Park, a habitat for saltwater hippos. On the mainland, the capital, Bissau, is a port with Portuguese colonial buildings in its old city center.
The distance from Jegue border to Bissau is about 130km. It takes about 3 and half hours drive due to the poor state of the roads. Which is surprising because along the way there's about 5police stops where you will have to pay for the road at every stop.It's also advisable to have a 4 wheel drive especially during rainy season.
So let's talk a little bit about Guinea Bissau. Did you know that Guinea Bissau official language is Portuguese but is spoken by only about 11% of the population. The local dialect is creole

Equatorial Guinea is known for having one of the highest mobile data speeds in Africa and in the world. However, getting an Equatorial Guinean SIM card will be cheaper than international roaming in the country. Here is all you need to know about buying a SIM card in Equatorial Guinea!
For some reason, mobile internet is criminally expensive in Equatorial Guinea. Moreover, speeds are embarrassingly slow as well.
This is surprising because Equatorial Guinea is connected to several submarine cables. African countries with direct access to submarine cables have, on average, lower mobile data rates compared to landlocked countries.
What is even sadder is that the domestic broadband infrastructure is poor, meaning that those living in rural Equatorial Guinea have no or awful mobile coverage.

In Central Uganda lies the city of Entebbe, situated on a Lake Victoria peninsula, some 22 miles (36 km) southwest of Kampala, the country's capital. Prior to independence in 1962, Entebbe served as the Protectorate of Uganda's capital. Entebbe International Airport, the largest commercial and military airport in Uganda, is located in the city. The word is e ntebe, which means seat or chair in the Luganda language. Mugula was the title of a chief of a subsection of the Mamba clan. Entebbe was a cultural center for the Mamba clan and was known as entebbe za Mugula. It is now the site of the official office and residence of the President of Uganda, same as it was for British governors prior to independence. Previously, Entebbe served as the country's capital; today, Kampala serves in same role.
The largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria, borders Entebbe on its northern bank. Approximately 34 kilometers (21 miles) south of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city, the town is located in the Wakiso District. The city has a total area of 56.2 square kilometers (21.7 square miles), of which 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi) are water. It is situated on a peninsula into Lake Victoria. In Central Uganda lies the city of Entebbe, situated on a Lake Victoria peninsula, some 22 miles (36 km) southwest of Kampala, the country's capital. Prior to independence in 1962, Entebbe served as the Protectorate of Uganda's capital. Entebbe International Airport, the largest commercial and military airport in Uganda, is located in the city. It is well known for being the site of the Israeli rescue of 100 captives taken hostage by the militant group of the PFLP-EO and Revolutionary Cells (RZ) organizations. State House, the president of Uganda's official residence and office, is also located in Entebbe.
The word is e ntebe, which means seat or chair in the Luganda language. Mugula was the title of a chief of a subsection of the Mamba clan. Entebbe was a cultural center for the Mamba clan and was known as entebbe za Mugula. It is now the site of the official office and residence of the President of Uganda, same as it was for British governors prior to independence. Previously, Entebbe served as the country's capital; today, Kampala serves in same role.
The largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria, borders Entebbe on its northern bank. Approximately 34 kilometers (21 miles) south of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city, the town is located in the Wakiso District. The city has a total area of 56.2 square kilometers (21.7 square miles), of which 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi) are water. It is situated on a peninsula into Lake Victoria. Entebbe is located at 0°03'00.0N and 32°27'36.0E. (Latitude:0.0500; Longitude:32.4600). Entebbe City has the following neighborhoods: Bugonga, Katabi, Nakiwogo, Nsamizi, Kitooro, Lunnyo, and Lugonjo.
