Top Things To Do In Toronto 1 | Canada Budget Travel Guide

Discover some of the top things to see, eat, and do when you travel to Toronto, Canada!

Toronto can be a very affordable city to visit and we'll give you tips for traveling on a budget.

Toronto is great to visit at every time a year. In the winter, it's less busy and beautifully covered in snow. The biggest advantage of winter in Toronto is that accommodation is cheaper! We stayed at the hostel Planet Traveler. Not only was it very clean and fun, but it was also in the perfect location to get around. It is right in the desirable neighborhood of Kensington Market, which is THE place for foodies!

A short walk of about 10 minutes takes you to Graffiti Alley, which is a very artistic spot (great for Instagram pictures) in the neighborhood of Queen West Queen. It is named the coolest neighborhood of Toronto, since it is home to a lot of bakeries, restaurants, mom & pop shops, art and other great things to explore. One of the best deals is walking around and exploring which is 100% free. The neighborhood offers multiple opportunities to connect with locals.

In the heart of downtown Toronto, you will find Nathan Phillips Square. This is home to the famous Toronto sign! Right in front of the sign is an amazing and fun ice skating rink where you can go ice skating for as little as CAD $10 for 2 hours.

A 15 to 20 minute walk from the Toronto sign will take you to St. Lawrence Market. Here you will find lots of different vendors from all kinds of countries including local food, like local Torontonian maple syrup and other amazing treats! Go check it out, it's worth a visit!

Stay tuned for Toronto Part 2 because we will take you to the amazing and industrial Distillery District, Ripley's Aquarium and many more places!!!

Toronto won me over on this trip. I'd been before but never experienced this Canadian city properly but this time Toronto was on dazzling display and I loved every second of it.

Toronto is a winner in my book, I can't wait to get back and explore even more of this fantastic Canadian city.

Things to do in Toronto for the holidays!

To celebrate the holiday season, this past weekend me, my friend Chris, & the #BGshow team went to check out some cool spots and did things in Toronto that we’ve never done before! We basically called it #NeverHaveIEverTO! With so much uncertainty when it comes to travel, we wanted to see what cool spots and events are taking place in the 6ix that YOU should check out too! We stopped by The Immersive Nutcracker, the Museum of Illusions, and the fun Thirsty Elf pop-up bar at the Royal York Hotel. Will you be checking out any of these cool spots? #SeeTorontoNow
