Top 7 Things to do in San Diego, California
This is my travel guide for San Diego! San Diego, California has so many amazing things to do, making it almost hard to know WHAT to do. This video will cover many attractions in the area, free things to do in San Diego, as well as hidden gems!
Little Italy is an outstanding neighborhood in San Diego. It has a wonderful atmosphere as a result of its bright buildings, European architecture, restaurants, cafes, and public spaces. Coronado Island is a great place to get away and hang out at the beach, with the great Hotel del Coronado nearby. Balboa Park is also located very close to Little Italy. It is an amazing public space with museums, gardens, hiking, and plenty to explore!
The nearby town of La Jolla has countless of fantastic places and activities. La Jolla Cove, Children's Pool, and the downtown are great places to start. Sunset Cliffs is located just south of La Jolla - it is one of the top places to walk around by the water to watch the sunset.
San Diego is also close to the mountains, which provides plenty of hiking options! You can also hike and explore the area of Torrey Pines, which has beautiful trails with beach views from cliffs overlooking the ocean.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

3 days in SAN DIEGO, California - travel guide day 1
San Diego, California - Travel guide to the Embarcadero, Coronado, and the Gaslamp. San Diego is a lovely coastal city in Southern California, and these are some of the best things to do in town. At the waterfront, you find the Embarcadero, and you can visit the Maritime Museum and the USS Midway Museum. There's also Seaport Village, with nice shops and restaurants. Being downtown San Diego, you can easily get a ferry or drive to Coronado island, and enjoy both coasts. One has the best view of the San Diego skyline, the other has the fantastic Coronado Beach and the traditional Hotel Del. For the nightlife we chose the Gaslamp Quarter, which is actually within walking distance to Seaport Village, and you have so many options for a fun night out.
There are so many things to do in San Diego that you'll need at least 3 days. This is day 1 in our itinerary.

We have finally made it to California and our first stop: San Diego! With beautiful beaches, amazing weather, delicious food, hikes, parks, museums, and so much more, there is TONS to do in San Diego. Since we have visited before, we only had a couple days in the city this time, but tried to squeeze in as many sights and eats as possible.

SAN DIEGO in 24 HOURS! What To Do & Where to EAT in 1 Day1!!!
We have 24 hours in San Diego! That's it! So what all can we do in such a short period of time? How can you see and do as much as possible in a city? We hit the ground running!!
First up is heading to Old Town San Diego, this is the oldest settlement on the west coast and the foundation of San Diego in the 1800's. We are here for lunch so it's taco time at Cafe Coyote. So freaking good!! Then a walk around... there is a street market today and we found some great uniquely made items. Lastly, we walked around the historic district where the original town has been preserved. It is always cool to walk through history!
Next up, we hop on the Hop-On-Hop-Off Olde Town Trolley for a tour of the city. If you are new to an area, this is the best way to learn your way around and see what you want to stop and explore more. Plus you always learn interesting facts! We learned that the sand dunes on Coronado Beach spell out Coronado! You can only see it from the air, but luckily, we have a drone. And if you are in the area, you have to check out the classic Hotel del Coronado... this is such a famous hotel, and you see why when you visit. And a must-do is walking in the Pacific Ocean and this was a great beach for this experience!
We end our night at Ocean Beach with a beautiful sunset over the crashing waves... and fish tacos (we were told the best fish tacos in San Diego) at South Beach Bar & Grill. It was the perfect way to end our day!
