I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Caribbean many times over the years, and I’ve rarely been disappointed, but there are some Caribbean islands that I feel are especially worth visiting right now.
In looking at the most beautiful places in the Caribbean I wanted to cast my net pretty wide here, and that meant looking at eastern Caribbean Islands, western Caribbean Islands, southern Caribbean Islands and, you guessed it, northern Caribbean Islands.

Today we are heading to Washington National Park. I packed some snacks, drinks, and lunch because we are spending the day at the park. OMG, I almost forget before heading to the national park we have one-stop. And I want to change my outfit. Since our friendly and playful Donkey encounter in Curacao, I fell in love with Donkeys. I've learned that donkeys are very affectionate. Therefore, today we are going to be hanging out with Donkeys. We are going to feed the donkeys. Hopefully, I won't chicken out and close the window. Will see, let's go. Wow, look at this!!! This is crazy!! Donkeys surrounded us. It was so much fun feeding the donkeys. Now we are heading to the National Park and I hope you guys are ready because the adventure is about to begin.
We arrived, and I am going to purchase tickets. This is the most colorful national park I have been to. Bright yellow, green shutters, and we are surrounded by cactus. I am looking forward to going inside the park. We paid $40 USD per person. But we think it's worth it. Since we are going to be spending the entire day here. Wow, we see flamingos. Now I know why paying $40 per person was worth it.

If you want a more unique look into marine life, try going to the sea aquarium. You can even stop by the Dolphin Academy to fulfill your dream of swimming with friendly animals.
Landbodies can still get a beautiful look into the natural landscape of Curacao. Climb the mountain at Christofell National Park or watch the waves from a distance at Sheta Boka National Park.
Willemstad is one of the most unique regions of the island, and it’s a great place to begin. Check out its pastel buildings, unique murals, restaurants, hotels, and other sites.
Many museums and monuments celebrate the history of Curacao, including its sordid contributions to the slave trade. You can learn more at the Curacao Museum, the Kura Hulanda Museum, and the Tula Monument.
There’s also a long religious history on the island. You can visit the well-preserved Fort Church or see where persecuted Jews secretly worshiped at the Mikve Israel-Emanuel Synagogue.
The unique mix of cultures in Curacao makes its cuisine one-of-a-kind. Its restaurants offer delicious seafood, and its markets have a special mix of produce and island staples.

Welcome to Curacao! Curacao is one of the ABC islands of the Dutch Caribbean and was a fascinating experience. It’s quite different from most Caribbean islands we’ve been due since tourism is actually not its #1 source of income. Here are our recommendations for a great trip to Curacao!
So, we're here to share the top three things to keep in mind when planning your vacation! We're going to share where to stay, what to do and activities that are not to be missed.

Curacao is a great option for travelers looking for a low-key holiday in a quaint town. One thing to keep in mind that was a bit disappointing to see was how much trash there was on the island. Everywhere we went, we left with a big bag of trash we collected along the way. Go and check out Jackson Groves on instagram, who inspired us to bring trash bags with us on every trip! (
Despite the trash, we highly recommend staying in Willemstad, the quaint Dutch town. Willemstad is also the cruise port, meaning there are tons of options for dining, shopping and exploring. Activities and exploring are also pretty reasonable in Curacao. We recommend renting a car to explore the island on your own. Be sure to leave early in the morning to beat the crowds if you want a stress free experience getting around.
Don't skip Playa Forti, the beautiful overlook that has become famous for cliff jumping! We call it Dining and Diving - grab a quick lunch and jump off the ledge into the sparkling blue water below.

Amazing Shore Diving- Bonaire
The second stop on our cruise was in Bonaire, also one of the top shore-diving destinations in the world. We had to go SCUBA diving here. Bonaire's waters were full of lion fish, frog fish, eels, and many more varieties of fish. We chose 4 Wheel Diving company to dive with, and would highly recommend.
