Rix Top 6 Must Do Harry Potter Things to do at Universal Studios Orlando. Truth about me...I love to watch youtube videos that are Top 10's, Top 5s, etc...so I had to do this one. But maybe 6 wasn't enough this time, just because it rhymes....so maybe I added a couple of bonus items to this list so you have to watch until the end.
And let us know in the comments what you think of our list, is there anything you would take off. If so what would you put in it's place.
So there are tons of things to do at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure if you love Harry Potter. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has the Forbidden Journey Ride, butter beer, the 3 Broomsticks restaurant, interactive wand spots, etc. And Diagon Alley also has interactive wand spots, butter beer, escape from gringotts and knockturn alley. And in between the two Harry Potter areas of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley you can take the Hogwarts Express. Another favorite of Hogsmeade is a visit to Honey Dukes for some every flavor beans.

While at Universal Studios Florida we explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, both the Hogsmeade area and the Diagon Alley area. Taken from the stand point of the movies, not the books.
These are the things that if you visit without doing then you really missed out truly experiencing the wizarding world.
To explain that statement a bit further, will have some Honorable Mentions, but you’ll see the difference, if you miss out on one of the HM’s you’ll still have a fulfilling HP experience if you do the top 6 items on this list. But you do not want to missing doing any of the top 6 items on this countdown.
Ride Escape from Gringotts
- not just for the ride but to go through the queue
- animatronics
- Voldemort, the big baddie
- very queue attraction with the blend of roller coaster thrills and 3D story telling
Magical wand spots
- Hey magic is what it’s all about, what is HP without magic so you have to do the interactive wand spots
- cover where you can buy wands and cost
- must do spot is wingardianlevosa
- also the secret wand spots
Ride Hogwarts Express
- note two park admission is required
- different scenes going each direction
- but for sure don’t miss London to Hogwarts because of platform 9 ¾
- also the hagrid motorbike scene is apropos
- and in hallway scenes with harry, Ron and Hermione are cool
Have a butterbeer (three kinds)
- regular (soda)
- frozen
- hot is seasonal (but why not year round like coffee)
Visit Hogwarts and go on Forbidden Journey (not just for the ride but to go through the queue)
- walking through the queue is like walking through Hogwarts castle so just walking in the line is just as important as going on the actual ride.
- in fact, I kind of thing walking through the queue is more important than the ride
- sorting hat, talking pictures, etc.

My Top 22 Must Do Harry Potter Things to do at Universal Studios Orlando. I love to watch Top 20's, Top 10's, Top 5s, etc. So I had to do this one.

Actually there are tons of things to do at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure if you love Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Jean Granger. Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are so awesome. You can feel the Magic here.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade has the Forbidden Journey Ride, Butterbeer, the Three Broomsticks restaurant, many interactive wand spots. And Diagon Alley also has interactive wand spots, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts Ride Butterbeer, and Borgin and Burkes in the dark corners of Knockturn Alley.
In between the two Harry Potter areas of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley you can ride the Hogwarts Express. Or maybe you want to visit Honeydukes at Hogsmeade for some delicious flavor beans.

In today's video we visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Orlando. More commonly know as Harry Potter World. Hello everyone, we are back at another theme park and back for another one of “Rix Top Six, Party Time Excellent”Today we are going into Wizarding World of Harry Potter to show you the top 6 photo spots in Hogsmeade. Okay now that we are all set with the clicking of button and bells, look who I have with me today…Nikki!
So there are three things Nikki loves…reading, painting and photography. So what advise can you give to those visiting Hogsmeade and wanting take some good pictures.Be patient with the crowds, Pay attention to lighting, And it’s okay to ask someone to take a picture of you for you. that last point is very interesting because, Hogsmeade does NOT have any photopass photographers roaming to take pictures of you. Do you know why that is? However, there is ONE WAY little trick Universal has to sidestepped this rule about not have photopass photographers in Hogsmeade, you’ll learn what this trick is when we reach item #1 on this list. But that’s going to have to wait because we start this little count down of ours with item #6 ITEM 6: Wand spot with wand…… Now there was a little disagreement between Nikki and I about what item #6 should be, we went with hers but just for kicks lets show you what I thought should be #6…Sirius Black Sign. ITEM 5: Hogsmeade Train Station. ITEM 4: Entrance to Hogsmeade
Halftime Break: So that was the first half of our list of best photo spots in Hogsmeade, now let’s take a little halftime break and hide one of Nikki’s Etsy creations. Yesterday I meet Noa visiting from the Netherlands via the Give the Kids the World Village. And I’ll leave links to that organization below. It’s a wonderful nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families. Please check out the link to this outstanding organization after this video. But it was my pleasure to meet Noa yesterday, she is the perfect example of a true Gryffindor with all the Gryfindor traits of courage, bravery and determination. Thank you so much to her parents Edwin and Brenda for inviting me out to meet their lovely daughter, Noa.
Number 1 on today’s countdown, the best photo spot in the wizarding world of harry potter, Hogwarts Castle. it’s on the bridge and the it’s not technically in Hogsmeade so you can get a photopass photograph from here.
