A trip to Koh Phi Phi in 2022 while you’re in Thailand is worth considering. Phi Phi Island is accessible by ferry or speed boat from either Krabi or Phuket.
Come across to Koh Phi Phi with us in this video and you can get a glimpse of what to expect.
Ferries and Speed boats leave from Rassada Pier in Phuket and arrive at Tonsai pier in Phi Phi. Prices range from 500 THB to 900 THB.
There’s a lot of fun to be had in Phi Phi. You can climb the viewpoint and be amazed by the incredible view, dance the night away on Loh Dalum Beach starting with a fantastic fire show, go on a boat trip to explore the neighbouring islands near to Phi Phi Don, watch some boxing, see the monkeys on beach or catch one of Phi Phi’s spectacular sunsets while on a kayak.

Phi Phi Island Is one of our absolute favorite places to vacation when visiting Thailand. The island became especially popular after several scenes from Leonardo DiCaprio's 2000 film, The Beach was filmed there.
But beyond its Hollywood shout-out, there are plenty of other reasons why you should visit! For one thing, it’s located between two fantastic tourist hubs, Krabi and Phuket. Actually, technically speaking Phi Phi belongs to the Krabi province. That means Phi Phi is easily accessible via ferry.
The island, or more precisely, the islands feature stunning features, attractions, and activities that will keep you and your travel companions busy and entertained. It’s especially nice for adult travelers who are looking to let loose and enjoy the simple pleasures of island life. KRABI, THAILAND (2023) | 10 BEST Things To Do In Krabi (Ao Nang & Around)
Krabi is located on southern Thailand’s west coast. Krabi is home to impressive limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests, white sand beaches, and more than 100 offshore islands.

10. Enjoy the Ao Nang beaches & sunset
Ao Nang Beach is a great place to admire the Andaman sea, take a dip, and watch the sunset.

The Soi RCA Entertainment area is the place to go if you’re looking for a late night party.
8. Go For an Island-Hopping Tour
We did a day trip by longtail boat, covering 4 islands. There were multiple stops for swimming and snorkeling and a stop at Railay Beach.

7. Hike the Wat Tham Sua
Sitting right outside of Krabi Town, the Tiger Cave Temple is certainly worth a visit. Most visitors come to climb the 1,260 steps to the top of the hill.
6. Explore Thung Teao Forest Natural Park
There is a short boardwalk trail that takes you to three different pools in the middle of the jungle: Crystal Pool, Emerald Pool, and the Blue Pool.
5. Dip into the Krabi Hot Springs
Cut into smooth rocks, the hot springs flow from deep rooted thermal springs that are located inside volcanic chambers.
