LAHORE City in 8 Minutes | Tour Guide | New Developments 2020

LAHORE

Lahore لاہور‎, is the capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is the country's second-most populous city after Karachi. Lahore is one of Pakistan's wealthiest cities, with an estimated GDP of $58.14 billion (PPP) as of 2015. Lahore is the largest city and historic cultural centre of the wider Punjab region, and is one of Pakistan's most socially liberal, progressive, and cosmopolitan cities.
Lahore's origins reach into antiquity. The city has been controlled by numerous empires throughout the course of its history, including the Hindu Shahis, Ghaznavids, Ghurids, and Delhi Sultanate by the medieval era. Lahore reached the height of its splendour under the Mughal Empire between the late 16th and early 18th century, and served as its capital city for a number of years. The city was captured by the forces of the Afsharid ruler Nader Shah in 1739, and fell into a period of decay while being contested between the Afghans and the Sikhs. Lahore eventually became capital of the Sikh Empire in the early 19th century, and regained much of its lost grandeur. Lahore was then annexed to the British Empire, and made capital of British Punjab. Lahore was central to the independence movements of both India and Pakistan, with the city being the site of both the declaration of Indian Independence, and the resolution calling for the establishment of Pakistan. Lahore experienced some of the worst rioting during the Partition period preceding Pakistan's independence. Following the success of the Pakistan Movement and subsequent independence in 1947, Lahore was declared capital of Pakistan's Punjab province.

Lahore exerts a strong cultural influence over Pakistan Lahore is a major center for Pakistan's publishing industry, and remains the foremost center of Pakistan's literary scene. The city is also a major centre of education in Pakistan, with some of Pakistan's leading universities based in the city. Lahore is also home to Pakistan's film industry, Lollywood, and is a major centre of Qawwali music. The city also hosts much of Pakistan's tourist industry, with major attractions including the Walled City, the famous Badshahi and Wazir Khan mosques and Sikh shrines. Lahore is also home to the Lahore Fort and Shalimar Gardens, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Jhansi Ki Rani Song (New Version) Khoob Ladi Mardani ( खूब लड़ी मर्दानी ) Mata Rani Laxmibai

Jhansi Ki Rani Song (New Version) Khoob Ladi Mardani ( खूब लड़ी मर्दानी ) Mata Rani Laxmibai
Lyrics - Subhadra Kumari Chauhan

Lyrics:
Sinhasan hil uthey raajvanshon ney bhrukuti tani thi,
budhey Bharat mein aayee phir se nayi jawani thi,
gumee huee azadi ki keemat sabney pehchani thi,
door phirangi ko karney ki sab ney man mein thani thi.
Chamak uthi san sattavan mein, yeh talwar purani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Kanpur key Nana ki muhn boli bahen chhaveeli thi,
Lakshmibai naam, pita ki woh santaan akeli thi,
Nana key sangh padhti thi woh Nana key sangh kheli thi
barchhi, dhal, kripan, katari, uski yehi saheli thi.
Veer Shivaji ki gaathaayen uski yaad zabani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Huee veerta ki vaibhav key saath sagai Jhansi mein,
byah hua ban aayee Rani Lakshmi bai Jhansi mein,
rajmahal mein baji badhai khushiyan chhaee Jhansi mein,
sughat Bundelon ki viroodaavalee-si woh aayee Jhansi mein.
Chitra ney Arjun ko paya, Shiv sey mili Bhavani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Udit hua saubhagya, mudit mahalon mein ujiyali chhayee,
kintu kaalgati chupkey-chupkey kali ghata gher laayee,
teer chalaaney vaaley kar mein usey choodiyan kab bhaayee,
Rani vidhva huee hai, vidhi ko bhi nahin dayaa aayee.
Nisantan marey Rajaji, Rani shok-samani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Bujha deep Jhansi ka tab Dalhousie man mein harshaaya,
Raajya hadap karney ka yeh usney achhaa avsar paaya,
fauran fauj bhej durg par apna jhandaa phehraya,
lawaris ka waris bankar British Raj Jhansi aaya.
Ashrupurna Rani ney dekha Jhansi huee birani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Chheenee rajdhani Dilli ki, Lucknow chheena baaton-baat,
Qaid Peshwa tha Bithur mein, hua Nagpur ka bhi ghaat,
Udaipur, Tanjore, Satara, Karnatak ki kaun bisaat?
jabki Sindh, Punjab Brahm par abhi hua that vajra-nipaat.
Bengaaley, Madras aadi ki bhi to vahi kahani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Inki gaatha chhod, chaley hum Jhansi key maidanon mein,
Jahan khadi hai Lakshmibai mard bani mardanon mein,
Lieutenant Walker aa pohoncha, aagey bada jawanon mein,
Rani ney talwaar kheench li, hua dhandh asmanon mein.
Zakhmi hokar Walker bhaga, usey ajab hairani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Vijay mili, par Angrezon ki phir sena ghir aayee thi,
Abkey General Smith sammukh tha, usney munhki khayee thi,
Kaana aur Mandra sakhiyan Rani key sangh aayee thi,
Yudh kshetra mein un dono ney bhari maar machayi thi.
par peechey Hughrose aa gaya, Hai! gheeri ab Rani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

Rani gayee sidhaar chita ab uski divya sawaari thi,
mila tej se tej, tej ki woh sachchi adhikaari thi,
abhi umr kul teis ki thi, manuj nahin avtaari thi,
humko jeevit karney aayee ban Swatantrata-naree thi,
dikha gayee path, sikha gayee humko jo seekh sikhani thi,
Bundeley Harbolon key munh hamney suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani woh to Jhansi wali Rani thi.

TOP 10 MOST FAMOUS FORTS IN INDIA(NEW)

Top 10 Forts in India.
Indian forts...awesome...Incredible INDIA...:-)

Top Five Ancient Forts in Pakistan

Derawar Fort
This majestic fort is located on the edge of the desert, and is 100 kilometers from Bahawalpur. It is the largest and the most outstandingly preserved fort of Cholistan. The historic fort rises over the surrounding partial desert and is noticeable from miles around. It was built by Hindu Rajput Bhati of Jaisalmer, and it remained in the hands of the Rajput Bhati royal family of Jaisalmer until it was captured by the Nawabs of Bahawalpur in 1733. The area is rich in archaeological artifacts associated with Ganweriwala, a vast but as-yet-unexcavated city of the Indus Valley Civilization.

Rohtas Fort
The Rohtas Fort is a magnificent structural design, which represents the Pathan period of architecture style in Pakistan. It is constructed upon a low pebbly hill to the north of Jhelum in a curve of the river Ghan (generally spelled as Kahan). It was built by Raja Todar Mal, under the orders of the Afghan king Sher Shah Suri, to restrain the rebellious tribes of the northern Punjab region in the 16th century. A conservation program was conceived by the Himalayan Wildlife Foundation in 2000 to help protect the sixteenth-century Rohtas Fort near Jhelum, and develop it as a heritage site conforming to international standards of conservation and tourism.

Multan Fort
The Multan Fort was primarily constructed to serve as a military installation and as a landmark of Indian defense and architecture. This amazing fort was made on a mound separating it from the city by the old bed of river Ravi. However, now there is no fort as it was destroyed by the British Garrison which was stationed there for a long time, but the entire site is known as the Fort. The walls of the fort were built by Murad Baksh, the son of the emperor Shah Jahan, when he was the viceroy of Multan in the early 17th century. The site now looks as a part of the city, because instead of the river it is now separated by a road which looks more like a bazaar which remains crowded throughout the day.

Shigar Fort
The Shigar Fort, meaning ‘The Fort on the Rock,‘ is an old castle of Baltistan and it is located in the town of Shigar. It was built in the 17th century by the Raja of the Amacha Dynasty of Shigar. It is constructed upon a huge rock and has a height of 2250 meters. The fort is locally referred to as Fongkhar, the fort on the rock. The fort has been restored by Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan, the Pakistan arm of the Aga Khan Historic Cities Program. After its restoration, the fort was converted to a museum and a luxury hotel managed by Serena Hotels.

Lahore Fort
Also known as the Shahi Qila, the Lahore Fort is truly a beautiful place which is located in the North West corner of the city of Lahore. The Mughal Emperor Akbar built this amazing structure between 1556 and 1605, and it was subsequently improved during the later eras of Mughal, Sikh and British rule. The Lahore Fort manifests the rich traditions of Mughal architecture and provides a remarkable view to the tourists. The Lahore Fort is one of the greatest castles made by the Mughals in the whole of South Asia.
