Aphrodite's Rock or Petra tou Romiou, as it is officially known, is the popular attraction close to paphos. The area, is a formation of rocks that are believed to be where the Goddess of Love Aphrodite was born. The two beaches either side of the rocks, are a great place to bathe and soak up the sun.

Cape Greco is a large rocky cape between Ayia Napa and Protaras. The place is attractive because it offers stunning sea views. CAPE GREСO can be reached by car, but the final climb, 400 meters long, will have to be walked. However, you will not regret it, it is very beautiful here.
Tree of Lovers or Juniper Tree is one of the most photographed trees in Cyprus.
This is a 170-year-old Phoenician juniper standing alone in a field. Wedding photo sessions often take place here.
Sea Caves
The Ayia Napa sea caves are a hugely popular spot for diving, snorkeling, and swimming, making this area a perfect thing to add to the list of things to do in Ayia Napa.
Cliff jumping is just as popular as swimming and diving.
Ayia Napa Monastery
Ayia Napa Monastery has an amazing history of origin. Initially, there was a forest cave in which believers hid the miraculous icon of the Holy Mother of God. Presumably, this happened in the 8th century.
Hundreds of years later, a hunter accidentally found this icon in an overgrown cave. The icon and the area began to be called Panagia Napa - which can be translated as the Holy Mother of God from the forest. Over time, the name was simplified to Ayia Napa.
Sycamore Tree is a giant tree grows near the monastery. It was planted here at the same time as the construction of the monastery in the 15 century. since the age of the tree is 600 years.
Love Bridge is a very beautiful and one of the most romantic places in all of Cyprus. A visit to which has become a good tradition for newlyweds and couples in love.
BLUE LAGOON
There are two Blue Lagoons in Cyprus. They are located on opposite ends of the island. One is in the Akamos Nature Reserve Park outside Paphos, and the other is here in Ayia Napa, near Cape Greco.
As you see the blue lagoon of Ayia Napa is a rocky bay with a sandy bottom and very clear water. This is a great place for those who want to swim in the purest water and enjoy the bright colors of the azure sea.
Thalassa Municipal Museum.
Did you know that another 10,000 years BC. hippos and elephants lived in Cyprus. It is believed that they crossed to the island from Africa about 6 million years ago when the ancient straits between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean disappeared and the sea began to dry up.
The museum's central exhibit is an exact copy of a Greek merchant ship sunk by pirates in the 4th century BC near Kyrenia.
the Boat - Papyrella. On such rafts, people made sea voyages in the Eastern Mediterranean 15 thousand years ago. You see a mountain range in the North of the island called the Kyrenia Mountains. This is the edge of the Eurasian tectonic plate that has come out of the ground!
Thus in the space between the two plates, Cyprus appeared.
Water World is an Ancient Greek-themed water park located in Ayia Napa. Its theme is the gods of ancient Greece and the heroes of ancient legends.
Agia Thekla Temple.This is a beautiful white church, standing on the shores of the blue sea. Tourists come here to contemplate the beauty of this place.
An underground cave temple was found in the same area. It probably used to be an ancient tomb and was converted into a church during the Byzantine period.
Saint Thekla was a disciple of the Apostle Paul.
The Ayia Napa Aqueduct is one of the most important surviving monuments in the city.
It was originally built by the Romans.
Stone Arch Kamara to Koraka is an amazing stone bridge created by nature.

There is a belief that promises a happy life for a couple of lovers who dared to cross the bridge holding hands.
SCULPTURE PARK is pretty much exactly what it sounds like a public park scattered haphazardly with an array of statues, sculptures, and art installations.
Saint Epiphanius Temple stands on a hill with a beautiful view of the sea.
Despite the ancient appearance, the church was built in 2006 and is dedicated to Saint Epiphanius, who was the archbishop of Cyprus at the time of the adoption of Christianity by the Roman Empire.
Nearby is a cave where St. Epiphanius lived in the 4th century, already an archbishop. Fragments of his cell have been preserved, over which a small chapel with a transparent floor was erected.

Secret Beach. Hidden and Scenic. Must See in Cyprus. The Best in Limassol | 4K Drone Review
One of the most beautiful places in Cyprus that you must visit is Zapalo Beach. This is a wild beach and there are no umbrellas or sunbeds on it. To get to this bay, you have to walk down the cliff for about 15 minutes. However, all this time you admire the magnificent view of the bay. Trust me - it's worth it. The path is quite wide, so the hiking is safe if you do not go near the cliff.
This place is amazing because it is very scenic and the feeling of beauty never leaves you on the beach. High steep cliffs border the bay on all sides. It is their beauty that complements your rest with an atmosphere of tranquility. There are not many such places in Cyprus, as most of the beaches are located on the plain. Zapalo Beach is truly magnificent!
The shooting was done in January, but in summer the bay looks the same, only there are more people)) Walking along the path during the day will of course be hot, so it's better to come and leave in the morning only after sunset!
Another interesting feature. The beach is located in Cyprus, but in British Territory, so all photos taken there will have UK geolocation. On Google maps, the beach is also marked as Zapalo, UK.

Welcome to Cyprus!
On this road trip across the south coast of Cyprus, I’m exploring Cyprus’ most amazing destinations. I’ve done the research, and chosen these must-do activities that will help you plan the perfect trip. Right! It’s time to share with you 9 of the most fantastic things to do on this beautiful island.
The awesome power of nature is everywhere in Cyprus, and my first fantastic thing to do illustrates that perfectly - Avakas Gorge. Be sure to bring some comfortable shoes - there’s a short but lovely hike on the way to the gorge.
Okay, so this is the Avakas Gorge trail that we're going to follow. It's very hot, it’s very dry, we’ve dosed up on sun cream, got tonnes of water in the bag and got about a 2-3km trek to go and find the Gorge. So yeah, let’s get walking!
Like I said, it’s a popular tourist destination, so you can expect to see some tour groups on your walk. The tourist presence doesn’t ruin the appeal. A lot has been done to protect the area. It’s prohibited to pick any plants here, and animals roam freely. You’re completely surrounded by natural beauty.
The walk to the gorge sort of serves a double purpose. The blue sky, the lush green foliage - it sets you up for the shock of finally turning that corner and seeing the walls of the gorge.
The gorge is 3km long, and the walls reach up to 30 metres high. These sheer rock walls are so tall that you’re completely protected from the sun, and the cool breeze blowing through the gorge is so nice after a warm and sticky hike.
The river is low and calm under foot - but during the winter month, the river levels rise and the small stream becomes a torrent. This sense of danger isn’t just under foot- it’s also overhead.
So there's a rock here which is wedged between the cliff faces and it looks pretty ominous! Looks like it’s about to drop.
Beware that some of the mountain roads to get here can be quite tight and get busier as the day goes on. Something to note if you’re a nervous driver.
So here’s a bonus tip for you - right next to wonderful thing to do number 3 is a fantastic restaurant called Oniro By The Sea.
Fantastic food, refreshing cocktails, sea views - Oniro has everything, and I can’t recommend enough that you make it a stop on your trip and it’s just a stone’s throw away from our next destination. In fact, you can probably see it from your table.
It’s just a 5 minute walk from the restaurant at most - the shipwreck of the Edro III.
So that the Shipwreck behind me is quite a sight and it’s been here for just under 10 years now. So apparently back in 2011 it embarked for Rhodes, one of the Greek Islands.
But never made it, because it hit a freak storm and ended up being caught up on the rocks here just off the coastline.
So apparently people fled there, they made it safe, they took out the fuel as soon as they could, so that the oceans weren’t polluted and now? It makes for a rather nice photo opportunity as you can see down there.
I couldn’t help myself - I had to get closer to the ship. The rocks are very rough in places, but I’m so glad I did - getting just that little bit closer to the shipwreck was so awe-inspiring.
The clear water and crashing waves were hypnotising. But if you want even more bang for your buck, just 200 metres from the wreck are sea caves carved into the cliffs.
A great opportunity to walk down the lunch, take some gorgeous holiday pictures, and get one last look at the shipwreck before heading to your next destination.
Coral Bay Beach is widely regarded as one of the best beaches on the island. That’s right, it only took me three Things To Do until I wanted to hit the beach, and it’s the most visited beach on Cyprus’ West Coast.
It’s easy to see why - it’s got fine, white sand, calm, clear water - everything you’d want for a day in the sun. If you’re put off by seeing so many people here, don’t worry. I found an easy solution.
So yes, Coral Beach is a fairly obvious beach to come to, you’ve got your parasols your water sports, your deckchairs.
