Solo traveling may be fun but not safe, especially if you are a woman. Unfortunately, there are only a few safe places to travel alone for a woman.
With that, travel and safety go hand in hand. If I were writing this article a century ago, I wouldn’t even have thought about how it could be possible, let alone safe.
Fast forward to 2020; the female traveling scene is a burning phenomenon. About 75% of the travelers around the world are women. So, yes, it is happening, but still, women have one deep concern: their safety.
Most female travelers, solo and group, feel like they take a risk every time they decide to tour a country. It makes me sad that women have to be extra cautious every time they CHOOSE to do something.
So after some in-depth research, I made a list of 15 countries that are the safest places to travel alone for women. These 15 countries are where all of you ladies can travel safely and freely. The countries listed are based on the 2019 Global Peace Index (GPI) ‘s “Most safe and peaceful countries in the world.”
