10 Cheapest States To Live In The United States

What are the cheapest states to live in the United States? Have you been considering moving to a new state? Well, this video is for you!
I'm going to show you the 10 most affordable states to live in America. Now, I know what you're thinking. Why would anyone want to live in a cheap state? There are actually a lot of reasons why you might want to move to this kind of place. Maybe you're trying to save money, or maybe you just want to live in a place where the cost of living is lower. No matter what your reason is, I'm sure you'll find something interesting in this video. So keep watching to find out the 10 cheapest states to live in America.
10. Indiana
If you're looking for an affordable place to call home, Indiana should definitely be at the top of your list. The cost of living in the state is well below the national average, and you'll find that your dollar goes a lot further here. Housing is particularly affordable, with the median price of a home coming in at around $206,422. And if you're worried about finding a job, don't be – the unemployment rate in Indiana is a low 2.2%. It is a great place to put down roots and start a family. You'll love it here! It's no surprise that it ranks as one of the cheapest states to live in America. So if you're looking for a state that won't break the bank, Indiana is definitely worth considering.
9. West Virginia
When it comes to finding affordable housing, West Virginia has some of the lowest median home prices, currently sitting at $126,948. It's lower compared to Indiana. That's 8 points below the average transportation costs in the state, helping to keep living expenses low. And if you're looking for even more ways to save, you'll be happy to know that West Virginia has some of the lowest taxes in the country. It is a great place to live if you're looking for an affordable lifestyle.
So if you're searching for a new home and want to get the most bang for your buck, be sure to check out properties in West Virginia. You might just find your dream home at a price you can afford.

8. Iowa
Despite having transportation and grocery prices that are only around two points below the 100-point threshold, Iowa is ranked eighth in the nation for affordability. That's because the state is one of the most affordable for renting, with the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment of about $600. Imagine finding a place to live for that price in New York City or San Francisco. It's practically unheard of. And if you're looking to buy a home, the median price of a property is also relatively low, at $180,839. And although the housing market is expanding and rising by 12.5%, it's still relatively affordable compared to other states. Finding a place to call your own for such a low price is one of the reasons Iowa ranks as one of the cheapest states in America.
7. Missouri
Who doesn't love a good deal? Missouri ranks seventh in the nation when it comes to affordability, with an overall cost of living index of 89.8. That means you'll be able to find plenty of ways to save money here. A big reason for Missouri's low cost of living is affordable housing.

Top 10 Cheapest States To Live In The United States - Around The World

Which states are currently the most affordable ?
Housing is by far the largest slice of the average American budget, representing one-third of typical household spending.
Because of this, the best way to cut your costs is to reduce how much you spend to keep a roof over your head.
One obvious way to cut costs on housing is to choose a cheaper home or apartment.
This may be a perfect time to relocate considering home prices and interest rates are back on the rise.
Low costs attract domestic migrants and can give companies an edge when it comes to attracting workers.
Here are the 10 cheapest states to live in the United States in 2019.
1. Mississippi.
2. Arkansas.
3. West Virginia.
4. Tennessee.
5. South Dakota.
6. Alabama.
7. Kentucky.
8. Ohio.
9. South Carolina.

10 Cheapest Cities To Live In The United States

What are the cheapest cities to live in the United States? Hey everyone! If you're like me, you're always on the lookout for a good deal. And when it comes to finding a new place to live, nothing is more important than getting the best bang for your buck. In this video, I will show you the 10 cheapest cities to live in America. But please remember, just because a city is cheap doesn't mean it's not worth residing in. Actually, some of these cities are downright amazing. Trust me; living in a budget-friendly town has some great benefits. So if you're looking for a new place to call home, make sure you watch this video all the way through.
10. Grand Rapids, Michigan
Grand Rapids is a beautiful city, and it's the perfect place to raise a family. You probably heard that it is one of the cheapest cities to live in the USA. That's right! Grand Rapids has a significantly lower cost of living compared to other major U.S. metro areas. Even though the city's annual average income is lower than the national average, the area allows you to make the most of your money. Despite price growth, housing costs are lower than the national median. Additionally, Grand Rapidians spend less on basic expenses than people in other parts of the country, including groceries and medical care. But not just the low cost of living that makes Grand Rapids a great city - it's also the quality of life. Grand Rapids has a thriving arts and culture scene. And, of course, it's not far from some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the country. So if you're looking for an affordable place to live with a high quality of life, you may check out Grand Rapids, Michigan.
9. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
This charming city has a population of just over 300,000 people, making it the perfect size for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a big city but still have access to all the amenities they need. The cost of living in Pittsburgh is relatively low, and plenty of affordable housing options are available. Additionally, Pittsburgh is home to several employers, so finding a job shouldn't be a problem. In fact, the increase in employment options has made Pittsburgh a desirable location for families and graduates. Compared to other major cities, Pittsburgh has a more affordable housing market. With new industries moving to Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh's outdated reputation as a blue-collar city is being replaced, and the quality of living continues to rise.

8. Fayetteville, Arkansas
The drastic growth being experienced in the cities around Fayetteville is drawing attention to the city. Now, we’ve found that it’s one of the cities with the most affordable cost of living. No wonder the location that used to be a small town has metamorphosed into a city of culture, commerce, and entrepreneurship, crowned with the presence of higher education. It is home to the University of Arkansas, the birthplace of Walmart, and the headquarters of Tyson Foods. To live in this city, the median monthly rent is just 868 dollars while the median home price is 203,150 dollars if you desire to own a home. If you put that side-by-side with the average annual salary of 50,470 dollars and an unemployment rate of just 4.7 percent, you will understand why people from all over the world call Fayetteville home.
7. Knoxville, Tennessee
You might not think Knoxville, Tennessee is a cheap city, but it actually is. The cost of living in Knoxville is 17.7% less than the national average, and housing prices are a whopping 30% less.

The Top 10 Cheapest States? THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE USA

I found an article listing the top 10 cheapest states in the USA and I'm convinced it is proof of good reason to leave the USA. That's because the cost of living in the United States is not just overpriced, the quality of living isn't even close to what you can find in other countries. I was born in Wyoming, spent my school years in Michigan, and after college, I moved abroad and have lived in Hong Kong, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I've seen what it's like to get out of the rat race, leave America, and live in other countries. I've found cheaper rent for better places, healthier food at a lower cost, and a lifestyle that I feel better about as opposed to working the 9-5 back home in the states. That's why when I read this article from the Teal Mango about the top 10 cheapest states to live in, I had to make this video. I want you to know that if you're interested in moving to another state to save money, you should also consider moving abroad and living in another country altogether. It's the same Nomad Lifestyle principle of controlling your cost of living, it just requires getting a passport and exiting the USA. Let me know in the comments if you think I'm wrong; is it more expensive to travel the world than to live in the USA?
