I hope you enjoyed today's video. If there is a state, city or town you'd like us to do a video about let us know in the comment section.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. These videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine and rainbows. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.

Top Affordable Countries to Live Or Retire in Europe

In this episode of the Live and Invest Overseas Podcast, Kathleen and Lief debunk the myth that living in Europe is expensive. They share the best seven places to live or retire in the Old World. Below is the breakdown.

3:46 Portugal. Portugal has it all, good weather, beautiful beaches, and great health care. Another benefit is that English is widely spoken in places such as The Algarve and Lisbon.

6:25 France. Tourist places like Paris will have a premium cost. However, the north and south of France can be very affordable, not to mention that France has the best health care system in the world.

9:45 Italy. Like any other place, Italy can be very cheap or very expensive. The southern part of Italy is very attractive and affordable for expats.

12:17 Spain. In Spain, life is a “fiesta”. Here you can enjoy nice weather and a slower and different lifestyle.

14:16 Malta. This is an affordable English-speaking country where any expat can obtain a residency very easily.

15:56
Greece. Greece offers a low-cost island living. You can also obtain residency with their Golden Visa program.

16:40 Cyprus. You might not have thought of this place, but Cyprus is a great alternative. English is widely spoken and you can get citizenship by investment.

Presenting a tour of the Netherlands
0:00 Introduction ; 03:26 Haarlem; 04:31 Alkmaar; 05:45 Leiden; 06:38 The Hague; 07:48 Delft; 08:54 Rotterdam; 10:11 Utrecht; 11:35 Gouda; 12:22 Maastricht ; 13:43 Conclusion
Starting with a visit to Haarlem, then to Leiden, doing a few day trips out from there. Then to Delft for three more nights and excursions to The Hague, political capital of the nation.
Then to Rotterdam the great modern city of the Netherlands, continuing to Utrecht, a university town with a large historic center and then to Maastricht in the southern part of the country. I'll also be going up to the Alkmaar cheese market which is a lot of fun.
This video is a summary of the trip through the Netherlands. We will be presenting short segments about each city here, but we have 22 movies providing a lot more details about these places so be sure to look for them in our collection.
See the 23 Dutch movies here:
Traveling between cities was so easy because the Netherlands has got perhaps the best train system in Europe. It's phenomenal. The trains are clean, fast, frequent and not expensive. This is a small country, so the cities are relatively close together, you can get from one to the next and 15 or 30 minutes usually. This superb rail service in itself makes a good reason to visit this country, shift for it really does eliminate some of those logistical problems of travel, just getting around. It is so easy with these trains.
Some call it Holland, but the country is The Netherlands. Holland is two provinces in the Netherlands.

Eastern Europe might not be everyone’s number one travel destination. Communist-era buildings, the conflicts in the 1990s and border disputes in recent years have meant much of the region has been overlooked by potential tourists. But with its patchwork of pretty, pastel-colored old towns, incredible ancient history, exciting nightlife, and nature from sprawling lakes to swooping mountains, Eastern Europe is a surprising delight. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Eastern Europe:

Exploring foreign countries with their diverse nature and culture isn’t always possible. In this video I want to share a list of my 10 favorite travel channels on YouTube with you!

Exploring foreign countries with their diverse nature and culture isn’t always possible - for different reasons. During those times I love watching travel videos - to prepare for an upcoming trip, to get inspired or to simply travel virtually to places far away.

Over the past few years I started following different travel related channels on Youtube and even got the chance to work together with some fellow content creators on some of my own trips. While some channels stopped producing content or decided to head into a different direction over time, others stood out and kept inspiring me with their quality content on a regular base.

I came up with this list of the 10 best travel travel channels on Youtube to follow.

Following you can find all of the channels I featured in this video:

Europe is the world's second-smallest continent, spanning 10,180,000km² (3,930,000 square miles). #Europe is located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. There are 44 #countries in Europe.

World War I and World War II damaged the European economy. During the Cold War, central and eastern European states came under the Soviet #Union's control, forming COMECON (#Council for Mutual Economic Assistance). Those that remained #free-market states were given a large amount of aid in the #United_States. The western European states linked their economies together, forming the beginnings of the# European_Union and increasing border trade. This helped them to rapidly improve their economies, while the #COMECON countries were still struggling

#Moldova #මොල්ඩෝව
Moldova is the poorest country in Europe, with a GDP per capita of $2,289. Part of the USSR, Moldova faced #political instability, economic decline, trade obstacles, and other hardships following the Soviet Union's collapse in 1991. Factors contributing to poverty in the country include lack of large-scale industrialization, food insecurity, #economic collapse during the transition into a market economy, and errors in social policy, among other things. Despite being the poorest #country in Europe, Moldova made recent progress, with the percentage of the #population living below the national poverty line decreasing from 30.2% to 9.6% between 2006 and 2015.

Ukraine #යුක්‍රේනය

With a per capita GDP of $2,639, Ukraine is the second-poorest country in Europe. Ukraine had the second-largest economy in the USSR; however, after its collapse, Ukraine had difficulty transitioning into a market economy, sending much of the population into poverty. Some of #Ukraine's continuing issues contributing to its poverty are government corruption, Russian aggression (specifically Russia's illegal seizure of Crimea in 2014), and weak infrastructure

Albania ඇල්බේනියාව

Albania has a GDP per capita of $4,537. After the USSR's disintegration in the 1990s, Albania shifted from a socialist economy to a capitalist market #economy. Although it is the fourth-poorest country in Europe, its economy is continually improving due largely to its rich natural resources, such as oil, natural gas, and minerals, including iron, coal, and limestone.

Bulgaria
Bulgaria is the tenth-poorest country in Europe, with a per capita GDP of $8,031. After losing its primary market, the Soviet market, in the 1990s, the attempt to establish a democratic government and a free-market economy further destabilized Bulgaria's economy. After years of financial growth, Bulgaria's economy was taken down again by the 2008 financial crisis. #Bulgaria is the poorest country in the European Union, with more than 41% of Bulgarians at risk of falling into poverty and almost 10% of Bulgarians being extremely poor.

Romania රුමේනියාව
Romania’s poor population is the poorest among the 28 European Union member states’ poor populations as its annual income are below EUR 1,000 per person, according to NGO project The Social Monitor.

“The 10 percent of #Romania’s #poorest working people earns less than EUR 974 per year. More specifically, almost one million people who work earn less than EUR 3 a day,” the study says.

The share in the total national income of the tenth of population with the lowest income is a measure of the inequality of income distribution – the smaller the share, the higher the inequality.

Immigration to Europe has a long history, but increased substantially in the later 20th century. Especially Western European countries saw a high growth in immigration after World War II and many European nations today (particularly those of the EU-15) have sizeable immigrant populations, both of European and non-European origin. In contemporary globalization, migrations to Europe have accelerated in speed and scale. Over the last decades, there has been an increase in negative attitudes towards immigration, and many studies have emphasized marked differences in the strength of antiimmigrant attitudes among European countries.

Beginning in 2004, the European Union has granted EU citizens a freedom of movement and residence within the EU, and the term immigrant has since mostly been used to refer to extracomunitarian (i.e. non-EU) citizens. Between 2010 and 2013, around 1.4 million non-EU nationals, excluding asylum seekers and refugees, immigrated into the EU each year using regular means, with a slight decrease since 2010.

In 2015 the number of asylum seekers arriving from outside Europe increased substantially during the European migrant crisis
