~ 10. Jungle Cruise
Welcome aboard the World Famous Jungle Cruise! The dry humor never gets old and the jokes always get their point across in the end.
~ 9. Matterhorn Bobsleds
One of Disneyland's classic rides and its first roller coaster, Matterhorn Bobsleds debuted at the park in 1959. Modeled after a mountain in the Swiss Alps, this bobsled coaster ride takes you up the Matterhorn and then back through its mountainous caverns and tunnels.
~ 8. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Stepping into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon is exciting enough, but then you get to actually fly that “hunk of junk.” You'll take on one of three jobs: pilot, gunner or engineer.
~ 7. Haunted Mansion
There may be 999 happy haunts in this attraction, but there is always room for 1 more! ~Hop~ into your doom buggy for a spooky ride through the Haunted Mansion. Jack Skellington plays host to the Haunted Mansion as it is transformed into Haunted Mansion Holiday from September to early January.
~ 6. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Hold onto your hat for the “wildest ride in the wilderness!” This classic coaster underwent a significant refurbishment in March 2014 that included new track, trains, scenery and special effects.
~ 5. Splash Mountain
On those hot California days, there is no better place to cool off in all of Disneyland than Splash Mountain. Disney recently announced that this ride will be rethemed to “Princess and the Frog.”
~ 4. Space Mountain
Another of Disneyland's four mountains, this indoor space coaster opened in 1977 and has been a park must-do ever since. It remains one of the best rides in terms of sheer thrills, in no small part because every high-speed twist, turn and drop is in the dark.
~ 3. Indiana Jones Adventure
A thrill ride like no other, Indiana Jones Adventure takes you over the treacherous terrain of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye as you hunt for renowned professor Indiana Jones.
~ 2. Pirates of the Caribbean
~Hop~ aboard your own boat and take a ride through one of the most elaborate and famed dark rides in Disney history. By most accounts, the Disneyland version is thought to be superior to the version at Disney World with better storytelling, more drops and an expanded burning town scene.
~ 1. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
This trackless dark ride is a thrilling adventure that makes you feel as if you are in battle aboard a Star Destroyer. There is a short drop, unpredictable ride movements and plenty of surprising visual moments that give this massive ride a high ranking on the thrill scale.

Disneyland is an amusement park in Anaheim, California, which opened in 1955. It is the only one designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring the Stanford Research Institute to perform a feasibility study determining an appropriate site for his project, Disney bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953. The park was designed by a creative team hand-picked by Walt from internal and outside talent. They founded WED Enterprises, the precursor to today's Walt Disney Imagineering. Construction began in 1954 and the park was unveiled during a special televised press event on the ABC Television Network on July 17, 1955.
Since its opening, Disneyland has undergone expansions and major renovations, including the addition of New Orleans Square in 1966, Bear Country in 1972, Mickey's Toontown in 1993, and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in 2019. Opened in 2001, Disney California Adventure Park was built on the site of Disneyland's original parking lot.

HeyHey friends! Let's take a lap around every land of Disneyland and figure out which Disney Land is the best! By attractions, that is. Totaling up all of the attractions, giving them each a numeric value and the counting down the Disneyland lands to figure out which is the best Disneyland by its attractions.

Per Wikipedia - Disneyland Park, originally Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opened on July 17, 1955. The only theme park designed and built to completion under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. Its official name was changed to Disneyland Park.

Since its opening, Disneyland has undergone expansions and major renovations. Opened in 2001, Disney California Adventure Park was built on the site of Disneyland's original parking lot.
Disneyland has a larger cumulative attendance than any other theme park in the world, with 726 million visits since it opened.. According to a March 2005 Disney report, 65,700 jobs are supported by the Disneyland Resort, including about 20,000 direct Disney employees and 3,800 third-party employees. Disney announced Project Stardust in 2019.
The Disneyland Resort, commonly known as Disneyland, is an entertainment resort in Anaheim, California. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division and is home to two theme parks (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure), three hotels, and a shopping, dining, and entertainment district known as Downtown Disney.
The resort was developed by Walt Disney in the 1950s. When it opened to guests on July 17, 1955, the property consisted of Disneyland, its 100-acre parking lot (which had 15,167 spaces), and the Disneyland Hotel, owned and operated by Disney's business partner Jack Wrather. After the success with the multi-park, multi-hotel business model at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Disney acquired large parcels of land adjacent to Disneyland to apply the same business model.
The property was named the Disneyland Resort to encompass the entire complex, while the original theme park was named Disneyland Park. The company purchased the Disneyland Hotel from the Wrather Company and the Pan Pacific Hotel from the Tokyu Group. The Pan Pacific Hotel became Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel in 2000. In 2001 the property saw the addition of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, a second theme park, named Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. The 72-acre (29 ha) park is themed after the history and culture of California, which celebrates the fun and adventure of the state through the use of various Disney, Pixar and Marvel properties. The park opened on February 8, 2001 as Disney's California Adventure Park or Disney's California Adventure, and it is the second of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort complex, after Disneyland Park.
The concept of a theme park dedicated to California arose from a meeting of Disney executives in 1995, following the cancellation of WestCOT, a planned West Coast version of Walt Disney World's utopian EPCOT Center. Disney initially projected high attendance rates at the new park; however, a series of preview openings held in January 2001 led to negative reviews, and after the park officially opened to the public on February 8, 2001, the company's attendance projections were never met. Disney spent the next several years incrementally adding new rides, shows, and attractions, and implementing other promotions aimed at boosting attendance. In 2007, Disney announced a major expansion of the park as well as a major overhaul of a significant portion of the park.
