These are the countries that are making strides in women's rights and equality.
1) SWEDEN
This Scandinavian country is a champion of women's rights: It has one of the best paid parental leave policies in the world for both genders (parents get 480 days of paid leave split between them), women receive free or subsidized prenatal care, many daycare centers are gender-neutral to promote equality early on, and half of the country's political ministers are women.
DENMARK
Compared to other countries, Denmark has small relative gaps between men and women across education, economy, health and politics, and it offers an earnings-related daycare system. It also has one of the most flexible parental leave policies in the European Union.
NORWAY
In Norway, women can take 35 weeks of maternity leave at full pay or 45 weeks at 80 percent pay. The country is considered one of the most gender-equal nations in the world.
NETHERLANDS
New mothers are provided with a maternity nurse, which is paid for (at least partly) by insurance, and the country has done a considerably good job of narrowing the gap between men and women in various fields.
CANADA
Canada has actually made protecting women's rights a part of its domestic and foreign policy, though it's worth pointing out that being a woman in this country isn't necessarily uniform. For example, indigenous women have far higher murder rates than the majority of other Canadian women.
FINLAND

After an unbiased analysis of the indices such as healthcare services, family values, education, and crime rate, we come up with the following 12 countries as the top best to live in the world.
Singapore
Singapore is contending with Denmark (also on this list) for a ranking among the best countries in the world, according to many works and publications. The UN recognises and highly commends Singapore for the country’s attention to healthcare delivery. The country has a lot of viable health programmes such that the residents are among the healthiest in the world. And this translates to a higher life expectancy than most countries on the same scale.
Germany
Germany is proud to be a literate country and that beats many countries of the world in education. This is not unconnected with the great attention the country gives to the education system. As at the last check, only 4% of Germans are illiterate. The majority of them receive higher education while many of them even have post-graduate qualifications. Their educational structure breeds a more civilised and organised society.
Ireland

Asia has been my home since 2013 when I moved to South Korea to teach English. Over the last 8 years, I've lived in Vietnam, the Philippines and currently Thailand -- and I've been to every country on the beautiful continent of Asia.
Each culture in Asia is very unique -- from religions to traditions, nature, history, cuisines and rituals -- and it provides endless opportunities to learn and discover. But above anything else, THE PEOPLE of Asia are the most hospitable and welcoming as they come.
Admittedly, it has been very hard to choose only 7 of my favorite Asian countries to feature in this video (because I truly love every place for a different reason) -- but when it all comes down to it, these would be my 7 favorite countries on this amazing place called Asia!
