Visiting Boston? This beautiful city has so much to offer. Watch more than 25 video guides with all the top attractions and landmarks in and around the city. here are the 10 must see attractions in Boston not in a particular order to help you plan the perfect vacation.
In a city that is the home of the nation's top universities, we can start our list in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, AKA MIT, located in Cambridge. this great institute features 168 acres of architectural buildings, statuary and the MIT Museum. One of the highlights of the MIT is the Stata Center, a complex known for its controversial design, built in 2004 and designed by the well-known architect Frank Gehry.
At number 9 we suggest the Massachusetts state house. the 1797 historic landmark is one of the 16 stops of the famous Freedom trail. watch our special video about this trail... The Massachusetts state house is one of the most beautiful buildings in the trail, mainly recognised by it's gilded dome, and red brick facade. and it is located in one of Boston's most beautiful neighbourhoods, Beacon Hill. Guided tours of the historic building are available all year long, for free! As you may imagine, this is not the only landmark from the Freedom trail on our list...
At number 8 we recommend the oldest public park in Boston, the Boston Common. The peaceful park was not so peaceful before the 1817, as it was used for public hangings. located in the heart of the city, this huge park features some of the most popular sights of Boston, and it is also the first station of the freedom Trail. Watch our special video guides on the Public Garden and Downtown Boston.
Number 7 is Prudential centre. This commercial complex features many of the most popular shops in the fashion world. One of the exciting attractions is the Prudential Skywalk in the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower, which is one of the tallest skyscrapers of Boston. The “Top of the Hub” restaurant on the last floor is a great place to view the whole city and enjoy a tasty meal.
For those of you who love baseball, number 6 is a historic landmark! Fenway park is home to one of the most popular teams in the history of the US, the Red Sox. “The Green Monster” was opened in 1912, and it went through many changes since then. the park also hosted some of the unforgettable concerts in the US, like the famous Ray Charles appearance in 1973.
At number 5 We are leaving Boston and heading to Concord and Lexington. two towns that played an important role in the history of the revolutionary war, and an extremely popular tourist destination.
At number 4 we are back at UNI. This time we have Harvard. in the middle of this old university you can enjoy the Harvard Yard area, where many historic buildings are, like the oldest academic building in the US, which was built in 1720. this and many other great attractions are located in the 25 acres of grassy area of the uni.
Time to do some shopping. with More than 100 stores are available in our number 3 attraction. Quincy market is packed with upscale restaurants and food stalls and more. Visit the market at the weekend, when many outdoor shows take place. the market is located in Downtown Boston, so watch our video guides on this area and learn about Faneuil Hall building.
At number 2, visit one of the city's most popular squares, Copley square.famous for the most famous churches in the US, the Trinity Church. the church is well-known for its unique Romanesque style, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson. Copley square is also the home to Boston Public Library and to the second tallest skyscraper in Boston, the John Hancock Tower. the combination of new and old buildings in the small square gives it a great atmosphere you will not want to miss!
At number 1 we will take you for a tour on the USS constitution, an invincible warship located in Boston Naval Shipyard. In 1907 the ship was turned into a museum where visitors can learn more about the history of the ship. this is a great attraction to visit with the family, for more details on family attractions in Boston check out our website.

Top 10 Best Tourist Attractions In Boston

Top 10 Best Tourist Attractions In Boston - Perhaps no other city in America holds as much history of the colonial and Revolutionary War era as Boston. It's not surprising then that its main sites have become a pilgrimage trail for Americans and for others who hope to get a sense of that history. But more than that, the Freedom Trail is a good introduction to today's city, connecting or passing close to some of its best loved tourist attractions. Boston is easy to navigate on foot, as its major sights are relatively close, and America's first subway system, the T, connects its important neighborhoods.

WHERE TO EAT and WHAT TO DO in BOSTON

We spend two days exploring the city of Boston! We start out by making our way to the North End of the city and having lunch, and eventually head to a craft beer tap room. We then explore Beacon Hill and the Boston Common, finally making our way back to our hotel called Revere Hotel Boston Common. Our day ends with an awesome meal at Myers & Chang. The next day starts with a run through the Public Gardens and the Charles River Esplanade. We eventually finish off our time in the city with brunch at Little Donkey and a walk around Cambridge.

Boston’s North End:

The North End, Boston’s Little Italy, is a maze of narrow streets with some of the city’s oldest buildings. On the self-guided Freedom Trail, tourists pass historic sites like the 1680 Paul Revere House and the Old North Church, which played a key role at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Italian restaurants, coffeehouses, pastry shops and old-school delis pack the area, especially on lively Hanover Street.

Myers+Chang:
Myers+Chang is all about fresh product, exotic herbs, redolent spices. Alison Hearn served as opening executive chef to develop a menu that reflects Joanne and Christopher's personal interpretation of Chinese, Thai, and Vietamese specialties. Today that philosophy is carried on by Chef Karen Akunowicz, who works closely with Joanne and Christopher to offer creative and craveable dishes served by people passionate about great service and dedicated to having fun.

Boston Public Garden:
The Public Garden, also known as Boston Public Garden, is a large park in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, adjacent to Boston Common. It is a part of the Emerald Necklacesystem of parks, and is bounded by Charles Street and Boston Common to the east, Beacon Street to the north, Arlington Street and Back Bay to the west, and Boylston Streetto the south. The Public Garden was the first public botanical garden in America.

Boston’s Charles River:
Along the Boston side of the Charles River, which separates the city from Cambridge, is a roughly three-mile leafy path known as the Esplanade. To take in its full charm, begin your walk near the Museum of Science (at Monsignor O'Brien Highway and Storrow Drive), which, not incidentally, is a great place to occupy kids for several hours. As you amble west toward the Boston University Bridge, you'll pass playgrounds and marshes and places to rent sail boats and buy lemonade (you are, remember, visiting in good weather). You'll also be swarmed by flocks of wild geese and packs of joggers. More often than not, the joggers will leave you alone, but beware of the geese — they are easily riled and nasty.

Little Donkey, Boston:
Located in the heart of Cambridge's Central Square, Little Donkey is the latest collaboration of James Beard Award-winning chefs Ken Oringer & Jamie Bissonnette.

The concept offers a global small plates menu driven by the chefs' travel & its diverse new neighborhood. Guests will find themselves sampling unique flavors from around the world- from Jersey to Japan - heavily influenced by availabilities in local markets.

Cambridge, MA:
Just across the Charles River from the city of Boston, Cambridge commands a cult following all its own. This scholastic city combines working-class perseverance with high-class entertainment and university class schedules. From the quiet residential streets in its western edge to the hip squares and happening courtyards along its numerous college campuses, this constantly evolving area will continue to attract thinkers, dreamers, families, and professionals for semesters to come.

Top 10 Attractions in Boston by Vidtur.com

Top 10 Attractions in Boston by Vidtur.com
There are a few prerequisites when considering a trip to Boston. First, don't go in February. This may seem obvious, but it bears repeating, not only because the winters are indeed so miserable, but because the other seasons are so immensely enjoyable. Spring and Fall are gloriously verdant and the summers are breezy and temperate.

Second, plan to visit at least some of the same sites you would if you were chaperoning an 8th-grade civics class. You are, after all, in Boston, the City on the Hill, the Cradle of Liberty, and so on and so forth, thus there's no point or pride in avoiding historic landmarks. Conveniently, many are nestled among the city's most beautiful neighborhoods, areas with cobblestone streets and colonial-era architecture that you would want to wander even if you didn't feel obligated to do so.

And third, don't compare it to New York City, at least not unfavorably. Bostonians spend considerable energy trying to prove their city is not inferior to Manhattan, whether in national influence, cultural offerings or American League baseball franchises. The truth is, Boston is not at all like New York, and that's a good thing. The largest city in New England is compact, clean and easily navigable. With a population of only 600,000, Boston is best appreciated as a small city with a hyper-educated populace, an astonishing number of Dunkin' Donuts, and an artistic and historical importance far surpassing its relative size. Here are some ways to weave the past with the present.
