The Hachiko statue becomes the meeting point where hundreds of people wait for their friends and dates, and then go enjoy the fun night of Shibuya.
On the night of the Shibuya bar hopping night tour, our friendly local tour guide will wait for you right outside of Shibuya station, like a real local! You will then pub crawl to 3 unknown Japanese Izakaya style bars with a guide: two of them are located in a hidden meat alley and the other one is in Dogen zaka area. The hidden meat alley is one of highlights of this tour!
Many tiny pubs and bars offering various types of food and drinks hide in this alley in a building. Unlike other food alleys, this alley's festival atmosphere is a whole floor in a huge building that hosts many types of local bars and pubs!
Each restaurant has different style of meat presentation and preparation.

Tokyo Nightlife Guide, 2017 - Let me take you around Tokyo, Japan and show you some of the best things to do in Tokyo at night!
As I mention in the Tokyo Nightlife Guide video, there are a million bars, nightclubs, and restaurants in Tokyo to choose from, so I wanted to break it down by popular nightlife neighborhoods in Tokyo to give you some ideas on things to do in Tokyo at night.
ROPPONGI - Known to be the most foreign-friendly nightlife neighborhood. Home to the Hard Rock Cafe and many other western bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Some good nightlife areas around Roppongi include Azabujuban and Akasaka.
EBISU - A much more local environment than Roppongi, and home to the awesome Ebisu Yokocho, is Ebisu. My favorite nightlife area in Tokyo along with Nakameguro and Meguro nearby.
SHIBUYA - Famous for the Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya is where many of the biggest nightclubs in Tokyo are, but you can also find a million small, quiet, hidden Shibuya bars as well. Mega clubs like Whomb, Harlem, Club Camelot, Sound Museum Vision, Atom, are very big right now. Be sure to check online before visiting for specials, DJs, and cover charges.
SHINJUKU - Tokyo Red Light District is in Shinjuku, as is the popular Robot Restaurant, and Golden Gai. In all of Tokyo, you can probably find the most variety and options of Shinjuku bars than anywhere else.

Dark Side of Shibuya at Night | Love Hotels, Clubs and Bars in Tokyo's Party District | 4K 60FPS
I spend a night in the dark side of Shibuya. Shibuya ward is one of the most popular areas in Tokyo, a shopping and social center. It's a great place to visit during the day, with many stores, restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and so on. But it has its dark side... at night.
The Shibuya that not everyone knows is home to love hotels, clubs and bars. You can find people drinking and having fun at any time of night.
Follow me on this tour to the B-side of Shibuya, the Shibuya off the beaten path, the hidden part of this party district. We'll check the area of the love hotels and clubs, stop to get a strong drink at a 'konbini' (convenience store), stroll around Shibuya Scramble Crossing and check out the bars in Shibuya Center Gai.

Izakayas are a unique aspect of our culture, special places that are hard to translate. They are a combination of a diner and a pub, where people enjoy drinking with well-paired small dishes. A traditional izakaya is usually cozy, which naturally makes people start communicating with one another.

On this bar hopping tour, you'll experience the best izakaya in the Pontocho and Kiyamachi areas that are personally handpicked by me!

For me, as a Tokyo local, Shibuya is one of my favorite destinations that always offers me a variety of things to do at night: dining, bars, clubbing, singing at karaoke and more.
