Shashi Tharoor is an author, politician, and former international civil servant. Dr. Tharoor is currently a third-term Lok Sabha MP representing the Thiruvananthapuram constituency and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology. He has previously served as Minister of State for Human Resource Development and Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India. During his prior career at the United Nations, he served as a peacekeeper, refugee worker, and administrator at the highest levels, serving as Under-Secretary General during Kofi Annan's leadership of the organisation.

Debashis Sen is a senior IAS officer with a diploma in Public Administration from ENA, France., and training at JFK School of Harvard University. He has received the ‘Jewel of Bengal’ award for outstanding contribution to Public Administration. His innovation “Anandababu” became an icon in electoral communication, his use of Blockchain in birth certificates was a trendsetter in e-Governance and his contribution to Township Policy of Government framework of the country for new cities. He is presently posted as Chairman-Managing Director, HIDCO which is a government company that is developing Smart City of New Town, Kolkata. He is passionate about sustainable development, circular economy and inclusive communities. He is also the Chairman of Naba Diganta Industrial Township Authority (NDITA) at Sector 5 Salt Lake, where he is a creating green city.

Anjum Katyal is a writer, editor, translator and critic. She is the author of Habib Tanvir: Towards an Inclusive Theatre, Badal Sircar: Towards a Theatre of Conscience, and Safdar Hashmi: Towards Theatre for a Democracy (forthcoming). Chief Editor of Seagull Books, Calcutta (1987–2006) and Editor of Seagull Theatre Quarterly (1994–2004), she has translated works by Habib Tanvir, Mahasweta Devi and Meera Mukherjee. A published poet, she also sings the blues and reviews and writes on theatre and the visual arts. She is currently Curator, NEW festival, Santiniketan.
