Take a walk with me in Imperial Beach, San Diego, California as we get something to eat, walk down the Imperial Beach pier and check out some local art work. We end our video by driving down to Border Field State Park where San Diego and Tijuana meet at the beach in Imperial Beach. The border fence is clearly visible with the iconic cylinder pillars that lead into the beach.

Featuring the beach, pier, IB Artisan Market, Annual San Diego Air Cooled Fiesta (10/9/21), Pier South Resort and dined at Sea180 Coastal Tavern - nice ambiance & view in this beachside restaurant. Fun things to do - walk, jog, bike, surf and horseback ride along beach & pier along the beach, pier, local shopping, restaurants and a great place to chill. Lotsa open space to relax.
Imperial Beach (IB) has a small community town vibe and great business has picked up. IB is on the West coast of San Diego County and is the southernmost city in California. Nearby towns are Coronado, Chula Vista and San Ysidro.

This is my travel guide for San Diego! San Diego, California has so many amazing things to do, making it almost hard to know WHAT to do. This video will cover many attractions in the area, free things to do in San Diego, as well as hidden gems!
Little Italy is an outstanding neighborhood in San Diego. It has a wonderful atmosphere as a result of its bright buildings, European architecture, restaurants, cafes, and public spaces. Coronado Island is a great place to get away and hang out at the beach, with the great Hotel del Coronado nearby. Balboa Park is also located very close to Little Italy. It is an amazing public space with museums, gardens, hiking, and plenty to explore!
The nearby town of La Jolla has countless of fantastic places and activities. La Jolla Cove, Children's Pool, and the downtown are great places to start. Sunset Cliffs is located just south of La Jolla - it is one of the top places to walk around by the water to watch the sunset.
San Diego is also close to the mountains, which provides plenty of hiking options! You can also hike and explore the area of Torrey Pines, which has beautiful trails with beach views from cliffs overlooking the ocean.

Imperial Beach is located just a couple of miles north of the Mexican border. It is a quiet community with a nice sandy beach and a beautiful pier. You find restaurants, bars and coffee shops withing walking distance. There is a small restaurant out on the pier as well. You are approximately three miles north of the border fence.
