When I was in Dubai, I had the privilege of hanging out and eating with my friend Peyman ( He’s from Dubai, he loves to eat, and he knows some of the best food spots in Dubai. So in this Dubai food tour, we went around and ate Emirati food, rice and lamb, street food, karak tea, and finally ended with home cooked Emirati food at Peyman’s home.

One thing I want to quickly mention, and Peyman and I discussed this in the video as well, is that Emirati food at restaurants is still not very common in Dubai. This is because there are so many international restaurants in Dubai, and local Emiratis typically just eat their food at home. But things are changing and there is starting to be a higher demand for Emirati food in Dubai.

Al Fanar Restaurant - One of the only full Emirati food restaurants in Dubai. We ordered Luqaimat, Tharid, Madrooba, Balaleet. All the food was fantastic, and it’s a nice environment.
Total price - 280 AED ($76.21)

Karak - 0.50 AED ($0.14) per cup - This is originally adapted from India, but it’s a full part of the culture in UAE, and you can get cups of karak tea right to your car.

Al Marhabani Restaurant - Mandi is one of the greatest Arabian food dishes, originally from Yemen. It includes rice and meat that’s traditionally cooked in an underground oven. The lamb here was outstanding.
Total price - 200 AED ($54.44)

Al Labeeb Grocery - Regag bread - This is a little gem of a shop that Peyman took me to. They make some Dubai street food style crepes with cheese and fish sauce, and it’s awesome.
Price - 6 AED ($1.63) each

Machboos - Finally at Peyman’s house for dinner, he cooked machboos, one of the national dishes of UAE. It was a great way to end this Dubai food tour!

Thank you for watching this Dubai food tour!

This is a traditional Emirati meal that is usually reserved for special occasions or very exclusive guests. It's not a normal Dubai Street Food, but that's why it's so good. It is an extremely rare Arab food nowadays! You have to be incredibly lucky to experience this whole camel platter! This is definitely one of the must try foods in Dubai! It is a traditional Emirati food and is one of the best things to do in Dubai. Camel meat is something that may be sensitive to some viewers, so make sure you're comfortable with watching the camel cooking! The chefs who prepared the camel recipe were originally from the South of India in Kerala, but have been living in Dubai for over 20 years.

If you're thinking of traveling to Dubai for a food trip, you can't go wrong, there is so much delicious Emirati cuisine and amazing street food to try! I must admit, most of the food is in Dubai restaurants that are clean and quiet, but that is part of the charm of Dubai.

First, Peyman and I checked out the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and then made our way to the one and only Camel Restaurant, address below:

Entire Camel Platter in Dubai: Zaman Awal Restaurant
Address: Al Boom Village, Dubai, UAE, United Arab Emirates

If you're wondering if you should eat street food in Dubai or go for regular restaurants in Dubai, I recommend mixing it up and going for both. In this food video, we are solely visiting one of the best restaurants in dubai for the whole camel plate.

Authentic EMIRATI FOOD & Attractions in Dubai | World's Tallest Building, Burj Khalifa, UAE!

NOTE: These are all attractions that I wanted to do in Dubai, however, I want to say a big thank you to Visit Dubai for getting me tickets to all the things included in this video. This is video is not sponsored, but I did get free tickets to these attractions.

Another amazing day in Dubai - we started by visiting the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building for an incredible view of the city. We then enjoyed an amazing authentic Emirati food lunch at Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, and finished the day with a falconry show and dinner.

Burj Khalifa, At The Top - It’s pretty incredible, like a needle that rises from the sand into the clouds. This is one of those attractions you can’t visit Dubai without doing and the view is mind blowing. I only wish it would have been a little more clear outside for an even better view.
Ticket prices - 125 - 200 AED ($34.02 - $54.44)

Bosporus Restaurant - At the Dubai Mall, I was randomly invited by some viewers who watch our videos to have a quick cup of tea and some baklava. Thank you to everyone at Bosporus Restaurant!

Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding - This is really a cool place, an attraction in Dubai where you can enjoy seriously good authentic Emirati food, dress in local clothing, and you can ask whatever you like about UAE culture and traditions. In my opinion this is one of the best cultural and food things you can do when you’re in Dubai, well worth it. The machboos was the best Emirati food served for lunch, it was amazing!

Wild Flight, Falconry show and dinner - Finally for dinner, we attended an event by Wild Flight that included a Dubai falconry show and dinner. The food was alright, not amazing, but seeing the falcons and owls was pretty cool. This would be a great thing to do as a family in Dubai. Micah especially enjoyed it the most.

Everything was complimentary of Visit Dubai, however I chose everything I did in this video.
Thank you Visit Dubai for arranging everything for me, and the complimentary tickets.

Thank you for watching this Dubai food tour video!

Food in Dubai - INCREDIBLE Iranian Kebabs & Whole Fish Fry | Deira, United Arab Emirates!

SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week►
Peyman’s Channel►

In this food tour of Dubai, we started with some of the most legendary of all Iranian kebabs in Dubai. I then took to exploring the spice souk, and finally we headed over to Bu Qtair to eat a whole fish fry - another one of the most famous, sort of Dubai street food style meals.

AL Ustad Special Kabab - The food here is spectacular. If you’re looking for some mind-blowing flavorful kebabs, this is the place to eat when you’re in Dubai. All the kebabs were amazing, but the lamb marinated lamb was mind-blowing.
Total price - 100 AED ($27.21)
but I think they hooked us up with some dishes

Al Bastakiya - This is a very interesting area of Dubai to explore, it’s a re-created old styles Dubai village. Unfortunately it was a little hot, 45 °C (113 °F) - And HUMID too!, but I still needed to head out and explore.

Boat ride - 1 AED ($0.27)

Lemon juice - 5 AED ($1.36)

Dubai Spice Souk - One of the best places to explore in Dubai is Deira, which is old Dubai, and the Dubai spice souk (market). The market is great to walk around and you’ll find spices galore.

Bu Qtair - When I asked you where I should eat in Dubai, Bu Qtair restaurant was one of the top recommendations. It’s a fish fry restaurant, where you order a whole fish and they deep fry the entire thing. It used to be a street food restaurant, but they now have an indoor restaurant, but the food is still amazing.
Total price - 170 AED ($46.27) for everything

The Ultimate DUBAI FOOD TOUR Emirati Cuisine in Abu Dhabi, UAE!

Arab cuisine (Arabic: مطبخ عربي‎) is the cuisine of the Arabs, defined as the various regional cuisines spanning the Arab world, from the Maghreb to the Fertile Crescent and the Arabian Peninsula.[1] The cuisines are often centuries old and reflect the culture of great trading in spices, herbs, and foods. The three main regions, also known as the Maghreb, the Fertile Crescent, and the Arabian Peninsula have many similarities, but also many unique traditions. These kitchens have been influenced by the climate, cultivating possibilities, as well as trading possibilities. The kitchens of the Maghreb and Levant are relatively young kitchens that were developed over the past centuries. The kitchen from the Khaleej region is a very old kitchen. The kitchens can be divided into urban and rural kitchens.

Th Next Place I headed for was very different and it was near the kite Beach and this place was mainly famous for its sea food. How to Eat Street Food Safely While Traveling
================================================
By [ S. Rosen

Tasting the local cuisine of a city is absolutely essential to understanding that city's identity, past and present. In most cities, you will find restaurants that offer some typical foods, though if they're aimed at tourists you can expect to find higher-than-normal prices and watered-down flavors.

The street is where a city's history collides with the modern day, where old traditions exist alongside such newfangled developments as designer stores and fast-food places. It's where the poor mingle with the well-off over a light lunch, where tourists can interact with locals of all stripes--and often score the best food at dirt-cheap prices.

Meaningful, delicious, authentic street eats are not only found in big foreign cities with famous food cultures, like Bangkok and Mexico City: Even in a city like New York, the simple act of buying a hot dog on the street links you with a century's worth of New Yorkers who have done the same.

1. Check that your vaccinations are up-to-date before traveling, especially to developing countries. Hepatitis A, for example, can be transmitted through contaminated food or water; the full vaccine (two shots) protects you for at least 10 years.

2. Never drink the tap water, including ice. In some countries, even your average tourist restaurant may not be filtering water to make ice, so always ask, or play it safe and avoid ice altogether. If you can, bring your own water bottle from home, as many hotels offer filtered water for fill-ups--that way you'll save money and decrease plastic waste.

3. Choose established venues, or eat where lots of locals are eating--and try to visit during peak times of the day. Use websites, guidebooks, and blogs to research what street vendors have been around for a long time are consistently visited by non-locals without issue and are generally popular.

4. Avoid raw, unpeeled fruits and vegetables. If it has a thick skin, however--like bananas, mangoes, cucumbers or if you can wash it off with your own filtered water (say, an apple), it's fine to eat. You can do without cold salads on your trip, but don't forgo all healthy fruits and veggies--you may end up upsetting your stomach if you limit yourself to meats and carbs! And remember: Cooked vegetables are generally just fine. Strive for a somewhat balanced diet.

5. Always wash your hands before eating. The importance of this cannot be understated. On the street you likely won't find a sink and soap, so always carry antibacterial hand gel with you.

6. Be prepared. Take care to travel with a good first-aid kit that includes, among other items, oral rehydration salts, antacids, and antidiarrheals.

The most memorable and delicious travel experiences often come at the hand of a street-food vendor. Don't let fear prevent you from digging in--the responsible way.

Laura S. Rosen is the co-founder/head writer of Eat Your World, a [ food and travel website dedicated to the regional cuisine of different cities around the world. From New York to New Delhi, EYW tells you what to eat and where to find it, including the best street food. Before your next trip, visit [ so you don't miss out.

Arab COFFEE Culture | Emirati Food in Dubai | مرة أخرى: جولة طعام مذهلة

Coffee originated from Yemen (Arabia) and is a beautiful tradition across Arab countries. I shared some of this with Andrew and Ella on this trip.

Also, we all sat on the floor and ate food with our hands from the same trays, so we are now family.

What an absolute pleasure meeting them both, and what a treat to take them to some of my favorite local food spots in Dubai.

Have you been to any of the restaurants? Have you tried any of the dishes? Let me know your thoughts on them.

Let me know what you guys think.

The Ultimate Arabic Emirati Food || Dubai Food Blogger || Food Blogs

The Ultimate Arabic Emirati Food || Emirati food bloggers

Emirati cuisine is a blend of many Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines. The modern diet of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is cosmopolitan, featuring dishes from around the world. A lot of people confuse Levantine food as being Emirati/Khaleej, but shawarma, hummous, tabbouleh, and mixed grill, whilst having similar characteristics, are fairly recent additions and do not do justice to the cuisine which makes up the Emirati diet.

Seafood has been the mainstay of the Emirati diet for centuries. The United Arab Emirates cuisine is a reflection of a great Arabian heritage and vast exposure to civilizations over time. Muslims are prohibited from eating pork, so it is not included in Arab menus. Meat, fish, and rice are the staple foods of the Emirati cuisine. Lamb and mutton are the more favored meats, then goat and beef.
