Hormuz Island is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. The island is located in the Strait of Hormuz, 8km off the Iranian coast and it is part of Hormozgan Province.

This is one of the most unique beaches in the world because of the red soil which has a high concentration of iron oxide. And the color of the sand is also really red in the water. The whole waves of the sea become colored red. So I was amazed to see the red sand on Hormuz Island.

I was walking and hiking the rainbow island and saw the colorful mountains with different shades. Brown, gold, red, yellow, and many more beautiful colors in Iran's rainbow island.

When I was going to the Valley of statues, I explored the wonderful view of Mofannagh beach. It really keeps you falling in love with the Rainbow Island of Iran.

Silver beach is one of the most interesting beaches I have ever seen in my life. The sand of this beach was shining and glittering. It looks like colorful stones. Most people think they are discovering mars.

Hormuz is an island full of wonders. The land of colored soils. Where the redness of its soil and the sea come together. An island is one of the places you should see before you die.
It’s full of colorful stones. Visiting this amazing island is a must because Hormuz island is a Majestic area for every tourist.

The infinite number of colorful particles, be they soil, sand, gravel or stone, pile up and form the rainbow topography of Hormuz island.

In this project a carpet is woven with granular knots inspired by the particles that make up the ecotone of the island, added the studio.

The sandbags that create the spatial particles (aka domes) are filled with the dredging sand of the Hormuz dock, as if the earth has swollen to produce space for accommodation.
Designed as a continuous, colorful domed structures, the project is inspired from granule structures of the land and are used to create a macro-level architecture.

Derived from the site's inputs, the architects used sand particles and filled in the bags that shape the domes, which are the spatial particles that make up the entire building.

The island has outstanding colorful surreal landscapes, said ZAV Architects.

Oddly, the local inhabitants of the beautiful, touristic and politically strategic island struggle economically, getting involved in illegal trafficking activities using their boats.

In a country where the state struggles with political disputes outside its borders, every architectural project becomes a proposal for internal governing alternatives, asking basic questions: what are the limits of architecture and how can it suggest a political alternative for communal life? How can it attain social agency?, asked the firm.

The strangest mountain - Music in the heart of the mountain of statues of Hormuz - Ayoub Daily

Welcome to Ayoub Daily Channel ❤️

It was a wonderful day for me. We came to the valley of sculptures on the island of Hormuz. On the island of Hormuz, one of the tourist attractions was the valley of statues, where the mountains are naturally shaped in different ways, and each person sees something special. On the way to the valley of the sculptures of Hormoz Island, someone was playing music and we stood by it until the end and enjoyed it. Finally, we reached the precipice of the Valley of Sculptures in Hormoz, where the sea and sunset were spectacular. See and enjoy

Did you know Iran's Hormuz Island adds soil to their food? Here's why | Asianet Newsable

People have used spices for generations to flavour their meals. Each nation has its distinct flavour and cooking style. The herbs used in Indian cuisine have a different flavour.

However, few people know that there is an island where residents utilize earth and mud instead of the regular spices. Isn't that shocking?

Even more astonishing, the people claim that it becomes exceedingly tasty after adding soil and mud to the dish. The meal or dish created is not squandered but is enjoyed by the occupants of this location.

Set off 8km of Iran's coast is a ruby-red mountain, so rich with minerals that it was called a geologist's Disneyland. We're talking about Iran's Hormuz Island, which is filled with teardrop-shaped shimmering salt dome embedded with over 70 minerals.

Locals say that the edible soil is so good that when sprinkled on top of their food, it boosts the flavour of the dish being prepared.

MAP OF THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

greetings my friends. this is a map of the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is a strait between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. It provides the only sea passage from the Persian Gulf to the open ocean and is one of the world's most strategically important choke points. On the north coast lies Iran, and on the south coast lies the Musandam peninsula, shared by the United Arab Emirates and Musandam Governorate, an exclave of Oman. The strait is about 90 nautical miles long, with a width varying from about 52 nautical miles to 21 nautical miles.

A third of the world's liquefied natural gas and almost 25% of total global oil consumption passes through the strait, making it a highly important strategic location for international trade. thats all for now. thanks for listening. please comment and subscribe for the best maps . goodbye.

Why STRAIT OF HORMUZ is Strategically Very Important? | The Strait That Could Spark World War III

Hormuz: The Strait That Controls the World's Oil Supply

The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway that connects the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman. It is one of the most important shipping lanes in the world, and it is estimated that about 20% of the world's oil passes through the strait each day.

The strait is located in a strategically important location, and it is surrounded by countries with a history of conflict. Iran, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia all have territory that borders the strait.

In recent years, there have been concerns that the strait could be closed due to conflict or political instability. This would have a devastating impact on the global economy, as it would disrupt the flow of oil.

This video explores the history of the Strait of Hormuz, its strategic importance, and the potential risks to the global economy.

Hormuz Island

Every part of nature may be owned by nations due to the existence of political borders, but one thing should not be forgotten; Whether it is political or not, it is the duty of all of us human beings to protect it.
Qeshm, the mermaid resting in the Strait of Hormuz, protecting the strait. This mermaid is surrounded by small islands, one of which is Hormoz, with colorful soil and its red beach, that blows the mind.
And the island of Hormuz, with its red soil, like the red lips of southern girls, kissing the lips of Amu Darya boys at the tide.
