7 wonders of the Modern World for Kids | The Taj Mahal | Taj Mahal for kids

This is a learning video about Taj Mahal - Sharing my learning about Taj Mahal - one of the 7 wonders of the modern world! What a beautiful monument!!!
The Taj Mahal was built in 1648 by Shah Jehan as a memorial to his wife. Today, it is listed as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, lost his wife Mumtaz Mahal on June 17, 1631. ... It is the final resting place of Arjuman Banu, also know as Mumtaz Mahal.
An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage.
Emperor Shah Jahan
Who is buried in the Taj Mahal? Despite its size, it's a mausoleum in Agra, India, for only two people: Mumtaz Mahal and Emperor Shah Jahan.
Which day Taj Mahal is closed?
What is the timing of Taj Mahal? A: Taj Mahal is open for sightseeing from sunrise to sunset (6 AM to 6.30 PM). The monument is open for the public every day except Fridays. On Friday, it is only accessible to Muslims for afternoon prayers.
Taj Mahal mausoleum and mosque
Red sandstone mosque (left, west) and mausoleum, in the Taj Mahal complex, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. A tradition relates that Shah Jahān originally intended to build another mausoleum across the river to house his own remains.
Riverside View of Mumtaz's Grave
From here, one can notice that the four-storied marble structure at the top has 2 more red stone floors below it. Note the opening of the window on the left. That indicates that there are rooms inside. Within the row of arches in the upper part of the wall, there are 22 rooms.
Avoid winters as the Taj will shadowed by fog, i.e., from the months of November to February. So early summers, i.e., from March to June is the best time to visit the monument. And the best days to plan a visit are between Monday and Thursday. Just in case you are planning a trip to Taj Mahal, take note of these tips.
The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees, which in 2020 would be approximately 70 billion rupees (about U.S. $916 million).

TAJ MAHAL LITTLE KNOWN FACTS: ONE OF THE 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD! (4K)

The Taj Mahal (Crown of the Palace) in Agra, India is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It's a sight to behold! It was made in white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. She died giving birth to their 14th child. Shah Jahan commissioned the Taj Mahal in 1632 and it took 20,000 artisans and 1,000 elephants to build it. The tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal lay inside the Taj Mahal. The four minarets were built at an angle so in case of an earthquake, they would fall away from the Taj. Such an impressive monument!
