SAINT LUCIA - Most beautiful island in the world? - TRAVEL GUIDE to ALL top sights in 4K

Saint Lucia is the ultimate honeymoon destination. It has the most beautiful nature and is the absolute highlight in the middle of the Caribbean. There is also plenty to do for backpackers and traveling families. In this video I show you why every traveler should visit Saint Lucia at least once: it's just a place that can hardly be beat!

After Saint Lucia we visit many more gems in the Caribbean. Whether they will match with Saint Lucia remains to be seen! With the best views of the gigantic pitons, overnight stays in tree houses in the middle of the jungle and the most beautiful snow-white beaches, Saint Lucia is high on the list of the most beautiful islands in the world. We sleep in Soufrière, visit the Diamond Waterfalls, hike the Tet Paul Nature Trail and visit the beaches Anse Chastanet, Sugar Beach and Jalousie Plantation Beach. From the west, we drive our small jeep through the rainforest to the south and east, before relaxing at an all-inclusive resort in the north.

This year we travel all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde and Martinique, Saint Lucia is our fifth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Mandarin Oriental Canouan Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Sign Up now for your free membership and benefit from exclusive perks and promotions in over 2000 luxury hotels worldwide.

The Mandarin Oriental Canouan was created in 2013 along the white sand of Godahl Beach. The dreamy setting features clear seas and powdery white sand beaches. Besides, there are bursts of vibrant greenery that will delight anyone looking for a tropical resort in the beautiful Grenadines archipelago.

This island has become a top luxury destination in the Caribbean. Moreover, this hotel is one of the most exclusive with its small number of suites.

This Mandarin Oriental hotel is found on the small Canouan Island. This gorgeous island is only five square miles in size. It is also surrounded by the largest living coral reef in the Caribbean. Be sure to take the time to explore it while you're staying here.

Moreover, you can reach the island several ways, either with a charter flight from St. Vincent or Barbados or the resort's private jet. Additionally, you can get there on your own private jet, thanks to the 5,900 ft runway on the island.

It's only a 20-minute flight from St. Lucia and Grenada and 45 minutes away from Barbados. This puts it in easy reach of many Caribbean Islands and the Tobago Cays Marine Park. So, you can add it easily to any island-hopping vacation in the tropics.

The hotel is on a 1,200-acre private estate with 26 Suites and 13 Villas. Besides, it features plenty of activities to enjoy and excellent restaurants sure to delight your senses. All ages are welcome here, with the Pirates of Canouan club to make younger guests a fun experience.

You can enjoy several fun activities to fill your time. These include several water sports, the Beach of the Day program, and hiking. Furthermore, there are fun sports like tennis and a golf course. The service is spectacular from start to finish.

Your personal butler will also greet you with a drink in a coconut shell with your name on it. This thoughtfulness continues throughout your stay. It includes touches like frozen aloe vera if you've suffered from a bit too much sun. Above all, this service sets the resort apart from any other Caribbean resort and ensures that you will want to return as often as you can.

The resort features 26 suites facing the ocean and 7 bedroom villas nestled on the hillside to choose from. Each offers a feeling of contemporary luxury with a beautiful design sure to impress and ocean views you'll wish you could wake up to every day. Besides, enjoy the marble bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, in-room tablets to manage your stay, and dedicated butler service to offer you bespoke comforts tailored to your needs.

In even the most basic suites, the bedroom separates from the dining room with a large mirror that can also function as a television. Thanks to the small number of rooms and suites, this resort is the perfect place to take family and friends when you want an escape by the sea.

Grenada is the nature and spice island – the world's largest nutmeg producer and also a large cocoa bean grower.
Guadeloupe, on the other hand, is a French colony and has an incredible culinary tradition. This is where the term “Creole cuisine” comes from, which is characterised by French, Indian and African influences. Here we had the opportunity to enjoy the world champion chef’s menu with him in person. St. Vincent & the Grenadines is a natural paradise with black beaches, on which the film “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” was filmed.

by Hannes Naderhirn, 2010, future production&promotion

-------
Caribbean Moments shows a different side to the Caribbean. Everyone visualises sand, sunshine and palm trees – but hardly anyone really discovers what lies behind them. In fact an unbelievable variety of cultures, music and religions has developed as a result of the different influences – African, Indian, English, French and authentically Caribbean.

This documentary series attempts to portray the people - be they the Rastas, who have a lot to say about their mission, the Amerindians in Trinidad, who still have their own Queen, or the Black Caribs – a mixture of escaped slaves and Caribs.

In addition, of course, there’s a huge variety of music: steelpan, parang, calypso, soca and chutney soca shape Trinidad, whilst other islands are especially scenically beautiful, such as Dominica, which is actually a single rain forest and which seduces with its abundant vegetation. Here too are the true Caribs, who occupy themselves with traditional boat building in the same way as their ancestors did centuries ago.

The films were produced in 6 parts to create a documentary series that shows what lies beneath the surface.

Wallilabou Bay & West Coast of Saint Vincent

This video has been years in the making. I have dreamed of laying my own eyes and being physically present at Wallilabou Bay in Saint Vincent within the Caribbean. Wallilabou Anchorage is the original film site for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise which are my favorite movies of all time. In this video you will be able to see my journey provided by Wayne of Topdawg Taxi Tours. We started in Villa near the South end of the island and were able to experience nearly the entire West Coast or Leeward side of Saint Vincent. In this video you'll find footage of Kingstown, Fort Charlotte, Campden Park, Buccament, , Layou, Barrouallie, Wallilabou Anchorage/ Bay, and Wallilabou Heritage Park. My mom and I had the most wonderful time top to bottom and had the best tour guide ever, Wayne! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The Amazing Waterfalls in The Caribbean Islands

#AmazingWaterfallsintheCaribbeanIslands #Stvincentandthegrenadine #Amazingwaterfalls

Today we are visiting amazing waterfalls in The Caribbean Islands | Dark View. We are also visiting Wallilabou Bay, that’s where the film Pirates of the Caribbean. The trip to the falls was an hour and a half. We arrived at the falls and were thrilled to explore. We had to walk through a forest and walk across the Richmond River on a bamboo bridge, which was exceptional. Then we had to walk through a bamboo grove to reach the first fall. To reach the second fall, we had to go on another short moderate hike. The falls were truly amazing. Unfortunately, it thundered loud that it terrified me. We thought about leaving, but hubby assured me it was safe to stay and continue to enjoy the falls. So we did. After a few hours hanging out at the falls, we drove to Wallilabou Bay, that’s where the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. We explored, visiting the small museum, walking around the area, and ate lunch. Shortly after, we headed home.

► WHO WE ARE?

We are Gladys & Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on YouTube and Social Media.
Join us. It's been one crazy ride so far.

LET'S GET IN AS MUCH OF THIS AS POSSIBLE! | Sailing the Grenadines | 125

Sailing the Grenadines

No matter what path you're on sometimes we forget to slow down and enjoy our surroundings. This week we have spent camera free in the postcard beautiful anchorage of Mayreau. We are all rested and relaxed. OUR CUPS FILL OVER. And now we get to head over to Tobago Cays, for the next couple of VERY calm days.

The Tobago Cays has been on the top of our bucket list of places to sail to while we are in the Caribbean. The reef here is EPIC and we just couldn’t get enough of it. So much underwater life! Turquoise Blue Waters. Tropical island postcard backdrops.

Let it all soak in!
