Inside a Traditional Market in Pakistan
I take you through a traditional market in a very traditional part of Pakistan - Peshawar. We experience the food, fashion, locals, and the beautiful old-school style Chaiwalas serving Peshawari Green Tea (Kehwa).
Chitrali Bazaar is a feast for the eyes! It's full of hundreds of stores selling winter fashion from Chitral. There's hats (Pakol), shawls (Chaadar), waistcoats, and all sorts of warm fashion items for Men and Women. I bought a traditional Pakol for Rs. 1200 ($8). Shawls are Rs. 3500 ($21). You'll see Men all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wearing these.

Why is Pakistan's BBQ SO GOOD?
Have you ever tried Pakistan's salted sheep barbecue? Would you go to Pakistan to try this? I did!
There are 3 things that make this barbecue so good:
First, in Pakistan, they have butchers inside their restaurants so the meat is always fresh. The meat is also of the big-bottomed 'dumba' sheep.
Second, this dish requires just one ingredient, salt. So it really relies on the quality of the meat.
And finally, they don't baste with oil or marinade. They baste with the animal's own fat and barbecue it slowly over charcoal.
Pakistan's Namkeen Gosht barbecue is so good because it's all about freshness, meat quality, and simple cooking techniques to enhance the flavour of the meat.
The meat comes out light, juicy, and smokey and you eat it alongside moist lightly spiced Kabuli Palau rice.

Hit by ???? & Arguing with Man During Food Tour in Pakistan
I go to Karachi's famous Burns Road Food Street for some authentic Pakistani street food and end up finding so many restaurants from Delhi, India there! It turns out a lot of these restaurants came to Karachi during partition.
I get hit by an egg while vlogging and a knight in shining armour tries to tell me how to act around Women. A kid even thinks I'm Peter McKinnon. It was a weird and eventual day in Karachi, Sindh.
We'll try the special Dhaga Kebab which is only binded by string. No additives are used to bind the meat together. So it's a super juicy kebab! We'll also eat Karachi Haleem, Dahi Bhalle, Chai, and more on Karachi's oldest and most famous food street.

Yes, an entire lane with #breakfast restaurants! There's everything from Halwa Puri to Daal Maas, and of course, my 3 favourite dishes which I'll show you. I even started making these dishes for my family back in #India!
I ate every morning at Qoeta (sic) Khan Cafe, located in a lane at the beginning of Mall Road. The nearest Maps location is New Lahore Restaurant Qoeta Khan Cafe 5 or so stores down from there.

We explore Lahore's most famous video game market where you can find everything including cheap second-hand consoles, repairmen, PlayStation 5, pirated games, and modchips. I grew up modding my PS1, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PS3 so this market really took me back to those days.
Why Don't Indians Buy Gaming Consoles? (Video Game Market Tour ????????)
This console market is in the Palace Arcade under the Sunfort Hotel in Liberty Market, Lahore, Pakistan. There you'll find 10-12 stores selling video game consoles, video games, accessories, and console repairmen. They sell all consoles including Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation. Next-gen consoles are available there, but for marked-up prices due to the global semi-conductor shortage.
Xbox Series X price: Rs. 115,000 PKR.
Playstation 5 price: Rs. 160,000 PKR.
If you want a cheap console, then the Sunfort Hotel market is also the place for you. The full array of previous-generation gaming consoles with modchips or software mods are available. Xbox 360, PS3, and are all available there for cheap rates. Xbox 360 and PS3 start at around Rs. 18,000 PKR. Pirated games are extremely cheap at Rs. 150 PKR per game. PC games are Rs. 70 PKR per DVD (but just bargain the seller down on games on many DVDs).

After visiting the Baba Farid Dargah in episode 1, I go for a walk through Pakpattan's Baba Farid Market and end up at a Chughtai Sweet House to try the most famous sweet in town - Tosha. I go soak up the life, chai, and fashion at Islamabad's famous Jinnah Super Market. There I meet the most hospitable people and buy a Salwaar Kameez to fit in and keep a low profile during anti-France protests. I review a public toilet I use too ???? You'll see all my reactions to arriving in Pakistan.
Note: I had no idea about the tea is fantastic reference. I only learnt about it once people started commenting on this very video. I'm not really interested in trolls and memes.
Jinnah Super Market is a very nice market in F-7 Islamabad Very similar to Khan Market in New Delhi, India. You can find mainly clothes, electronics, cafes, jewellery, and books there. In terms of food, you have a full array of Pakistani cuisine with outdoor dining.
Don't miss the Quetta Singapore Cafe which I visited in this video. They serve the best Chai and Biryani (not sponsored, I don't do sponsorships).

The Best Vegetarian Dish in Pakistan! ????
This is my favourite vegetarian dish in Pakistan! It's called Shahi Daal, or Royal Daal, and it's a healthy stew made of urad dal, ginger, chopped onion, tomato milk, almond, ghee, and garam masala. It's the tastiest vegetarian meal I had in Pakistan. It's mind-blowing, and it reminded me a lot of my favourite non-veg dish, Haleem. What's your favourite vegetarian dish?
There's also a meat version available of Shahi Daal. It includes chicken, egg, and pineapple.
I found the Shahi Daal by mistake after being denied entry to the famous Gurudwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal, Punjab, Pakistan. The Police officer who denied me entry, because I didn't have a NOC, advised me to try the food nearby at Mian Gee Punjab Hotel (میاں جی پنجاب ہوٹل)

For those who don't know, Jai Hind (जय हिन्द) means Long live India. It's a patriotic and victorious saying in Hindi. Pakistanis have their own saying too: Pakistan Zindabad (پاکستان زِنده باد) which means Long live Pakistan.

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman VrC is an Indian Air Force fighter pilot who, during the 2019 India–Pakistan standoff, was held captive in Pakistan for 60 hours after his aircraft was shot down in an aerial dogfight.
During this time he was filmed by the Pakistan Army complementing the tea he was drinking. That video was then released to the media. He says in the video, The tea is fantastic. That video is available here
So that's where this reference comes from. It's now used to troll Indians online mainly. So hence my replies, and in the end, I just gave him a Jai Hind Long Live India.

I go to Lahore's largest electronics, mobile, and computer market, which was recently destroyed by a huge fire. We'll buy a PS4 controller for my mate @ZackWaheed, see what mobiles are available in Pakistan, check out pirated games and software, see people refurbishing laptops in the street, and meet a few trolls too.
This is the Hafeez Centre in Gulberg III, Lahore, Pakistan After the fire in October 2020, it's since reopened, although 3 or 4 floors on the main roadside are still charred.

Balakot... This Is What I Found ????????
Yup, I went to the now infamous #Balakot. I travelled from #Abbottabad through #Mansehra then along the Kunhar River to beautiful Balakot. Balakot will surprise you will it's epic scenery, street food, and hospitality. This is a good-old small town in #Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
Once there, I explored this little town 50km from the LOC, and I ate two things: Shami Burger and Chapli Kebab. And of course 2 cups of #chai. Chai was Rs. 20 (₹9) per cup, Chapli Kebab with 1 Naan was Rs. 50 (₹22). I totally forget the price of the Shami Burger - it was probably Rs. 50 too.

I spent half a day in Multan, Pakistan, and it was incredible! I should've stayed much longer in Southern Punjab. We explored a beautiful Sufi Saint's shrine, walked through the bustling markets, and ended eating authentic Multani food on a rooftop restaurant right in the centre of the city next to Ghanta Ghar and the Fort.
Multan is the capital of Multan Division located in Punjab, Pakistan and is the major cultural and economic centre of Southern Punjab. It's Pakistan's 7th largest city and situated on the bank of the Chenab River.

Trying Afghanistan's National Dish on the Pakistan Border
I tried Afghanistan's national dish, Kabuli Palau, on the Grand Trunk Road just a few kilometres down the road from Afghanistan - in Peshawar, Pakistan. See my reaction to eating this juicy Kabuli Palau.
Kabuli Palau (also known as Quaboli Palaw, Qabili Palau or Palao, Palaw, Pilau or Pilaf, and Qabili/Kabuli Palau) is a popular meal in Afghanistan. It's a rice dish containing tender lamb or chicken, carrot strips, raisins, and light spices. It is traditionally topped with chopped almonds or pistachios.
