BULAWAYO | A Drone's Eye View of the City of Kings
Bulawayo in Zimbabwe is not any different from cities built by Cecil John Rhodes, At every turn, buildings tell their own story. One Hundred and twenty-six blocks of structures, which respectfully match their function. And wide roads allow for more than just a glimpse of it.

PLEASE NOTE: These pictures were taken on a Sunday (in a very Christian country)...hence why the streets are so empty.
These photo's were taken in August this year (2009). This was my first proper visit to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second city.
What I saw is one of the most beautiful cities I've seen so far (Beauty in it's own right). With it's colonial buildings that seemed to have been left unfazed by time. Bulawayo is known for it's extremely wide Boulevards, it's colonial buildings and it's history as the Capital of the former Ndebele Kingdom.

A cinematic view of the most beautiful city in Zimbabwe, Bulawayo By Drone. Bulawayo is Zimbabwe's second largest city and the capital of Matabeleland, home of the Ndebele tribe and here is the Bulawayo City Centre By Drone. Popularly Known As The City of Kings with Stunning Views of Bulawayo City Centre. Make sure to visit this city while in Zimbabwe. Colloquially Bulawayo is also known by various names, these being the ‘City of Kings’, ‘Skies’, ‘Bluez’, ‘Bulliesberg’ or ‘KoNtuthu ziyathunqa’ – an Ndebele phrase for “a place that continually exudes smoke.” These names arose from the city’s historically large industrial base.
