Los Angeles, California - We continue our Los Angeles Food Tour today on a mission to find the best burger restaurants in LA with good friends, @KimberleyCrossman and @nickygrex.
We traveled across the city to five of the most highly-decorated hamburger-focused restaurants to find out which one is truly the best burger in Los Angeles, California! Here are the five burger restaurants we went to in order of appearance:
Burger She Wrote - Located on Beverley Blvd, and a second location on Hollywood Blvd, Burger She Wrote is a snug, simple burger spot dishing up generous Wagyu burgers, plus Mexican sodas & handcut fries.
Burgers Never Say Die - One of the most hyped up burger joints in Los Angeles, Burgers Never Say Die is located way out in Silver Lake (Glendale). The restaurant serves classic burgers, patty melts, fries, and soft-serve ice cream.
The Apple Pan - Established in 1947, The Apple Pan is a Los Angeles Institution when it comes to hamburgers and apple pie. The Apple Pan is located in West Hollywood, and they're famous for their hickory burger and homemade pies.
HiHo Cheeseburgers - Santa Monica is home to a number of great restaurants, and as you can see from the video HiHo should be considered one of the best burger restaurants in Los Angeles. HiHo has multiple locations which serve delicious Wagyu Burgers and delicious fries.
Pono Burger - If you're looking for organic, grass-fed beef burgers, fries, shakes & beer in a funky, beach-themed spot; Pono burger is a great choice for restaurants in Santa Monica.

The Best Cheeseburger In LA Sells Out Every Weekend | Line Around The Block
Goldburger started as a burger pop-up in a backyard, but it recently won LA Food and Wine’s best burger for 2019. They smash onions into a crispy patty and load it up on a soft white bun dripping with American cheese. It’s simple and absolutely delicious and people are lining up and waiting for a chance to try the burger. They sell 500 cheeseburgers every weekend. The address of the pop-up is in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles at 3319 Sunset Boulevard. It’s held every Saturday and Sunday for a limited time only.

Thank you to my sister Pam and brother in law Derek for joining me on this food tour of San Diego, California! And during the video I said Oceanside once, but I meant *Ocean Beach. We were on a family vacation in California, but on one day, we decided to go on an ultimate San Diego California food tour. It was a lot of fun, and you’ll find all the information of all the places we ate below:
Breakfast at Northside Shack - We started off in the morning, and first headed to Northside Shack to try their highly rated açaí bowl. It’s a laid back kind of spot, and I ordered the $11 bowl which was the large size. The acai is frozen into a sorget, and then they layered it with granola, about 12 different kinds of fruits, and nuts and seeds. It was delicious and refreshing, great way to begin this food tour.
Hodad's - Probably one of the most legendary of all restaurants in San Diego, California is Hodad’s serving massive double bacon cheeseburgers, and classic American food. The original location is located in Ocean Beach, and it has so much character, plastered with graffiti and stickers. Derek and I each ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, which is a monster burger. It takes some strategy to eat, but it was well worth it. It’s a delicious burger, and I also really enjoyed the onion rings. Price - $14.25
Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill - Pam and Derek had been here before and they knew it was good, so it was a restaurant in San Diego that I was looking forward to trying. You stand in line, order at the counter, and then find a seat. They offer fresh fish of the day, everything very fresh. We started with some oysters and the main dish, which was the best dish of the meal for me was the blackened black seabass. Delicious food, one of the best restaurants I ate at in San Diego. Total price - $65.23
Communal Coffee - Next we stopped to have a quick avocado toast and coffee. It was my first avocado toast at a restaurant, and although it was a little dainty, it was pretty awesomely delicious, a real treat. Price - $26.02 for everything (I think 3 coffees and avocado)
Nine Seas Seafood - Home of the Crazy Tostada, this seafood food truck is a gem of Mexican seafood. We ordered a few ceviches, not knowing how enormous the crazy tostadas were. They were huge, and packed with just about “everything from the sea.” But not only were the crazy tostates huge and crazy, but they were delicious, especially loaded with salsa. Total price - $24.75 for everything
And that completes this San Diego food tour. It was an amazing day and the food was delicious!

- best burger in Santa Monica hands down. and if your asking where to get the best burger in los angeles HiHo burger is the answer. made with wagyu beef burger is moist and full of flavor. this is one of the best places to eat in los angeles, and should be on every los angeles food guide. In my opinion this might be the best burger in los angeles

-fathers office burger is the most expensive on the list. it is more of a gourmet burger it was mentioned in lots of magazines and news articles as the best burger and best places to eat in la. the burger is juicy full of flavor and they have large variety of beer on tap. you cant go wrong with fathers office.

- When it comes to la burgers In N Out is King. there is a reason people come from all over to try it this iconic burger. In n Out has a cult like following in souther california and regarded as one of the best places to eat in la. It is cheap and delicious. But I found an article on Mashed.com listing the best burger in every state. In California, it was Monty’s Good Burger in Los Angeles. So I decided to see – is it the best burger in California?

The Burger from Vaka Burger in Historic Filipinotown might just be the best burger in all of Los Angeles.
LA is home to some amazing burgers made by some amazing chefs, but this burger had me absolutely speechless. They also have a location in Tustin in Orange County.
This is totally worth checking out!
