Ladies Only Camping Trip | Babes Ride Out Babes Return To Borrego
Last weekend I took off on a ladies only camping trip to Babes Ride Out Babes Return To Borrego, and the weekend was so much more than I expected. There were some good things and some bad things that happened. Lessons were learned, time with friends (new and old) was enjoyed, and there were some spectacular roads ridden. If you are a female rider and have never attended one of these events, add it to your 2022 riding list. You will have a blast! Sorry boys, it is for ladies only.

Back in 2013 50 women gathered on a dry lakebed in the middle of nowhere to camp and ride together. For most of them it was the first time riding with other women. For all of them, it started a journey of filled with new friends and a lot of motorcycle trips.
In 2021 we all gathered back in Borrego Springs, California to hear some of their stories and what this community has meant to them over the years.

The Babes Ride Out 5 Special
Babes Ride Out 5 in Joshua Tree,CA has been a goal of mine for a little while. Trying to get there was a little more complicated to plan for than I expected. I had to replace my radiator and chain two days before leaving, and at the last minute my plans to haul the bike down fell through. So, I rode down from Portland, OR.
I love meeting people I've known on Instagram for ages in person for the first time, it is the best thing ever. However, I don't need to camp in the desert again for a very long time. That sand/wind storm on Friday had me wishing for that freezing night in the mountains of Northern California! So, if I do BRO again I believe it will be in a fifth wheel so I can escape the sand and wind haha.
Please let me know if you'd like me to make a video kind of catching up since the end of the Pilgrimage, ooor a redo of my how to pack for a motorcycle trip video (since I learned quite a lot since then), orr just in general what you would like to see in future on this channel!

Babes Ride Out is a women only motorcycle camping trip that happens around the United States every year! This was my third time attending Babes Ride Out East Coast in Narrowsburg New York. It was a bit of a wet and miserable 500 miles in the rain, but the good vibes and festivities made it all worth it in the end!
This event is equal parts a riding event as it is a camping experience! Nestled along the gorgeous Delaware river I set up camp and enjoyed in a bit too many adult beverages, friendly faces, good company and rad karaoke. Followed by a perfect morning ride up to the Hawks Nest Highway in Port Jervis NY.
This event is like no other. Amazing camaraderie, women from all walks of life and riding levels. Stunning roads to rip. And memories for a lifetime.

Babes in the Dirt 7
Five hundred female off-road riders of all skill sets took over Quail Canyon MX for Babes in the Dirt's 7th annual ladies off-road event in Hungry Valley OHV in Lebec, CA. It was a weekend of trail riding, tracks, clinics, demo rides, karaoke, mini bike games and more with each rider walking away more confident in their abilities.
