Knoxville is a city on the Tennessee River in eastern Tennessee. Downtown, the Market Square district has 19th-century buildings with shops and restaurants. The Museum of East Tennessee History has interactive exhibits plus regional art, textiles and Civil War artifacts. James White’s Fort, built by the Revolutionary War captain, includes the reconstructed 1786 log cabin that was Knoxville’s first permanent building.

Tennessee is a great state. I know a handful of people from the Volunteer state and they are all amazing people. But like all cities, states, and towns they have some problems. That is what this video is about. Towns with serious problems. If you have ever thought about moving to rural or small-town Tennessee you probably would want to stay away from these areas. Talk to a local real estate agent before you decide to buy a home in any of these.

These are the top 10 worst cities to live in America for 2019. I am sure there are nice things about each of these cities, but that is for another list. What makes a city get on the worst list? Crime, poverty, bad school, pollution, etc.

Overrated Cities: 10 U.S. Metro Areas That Give You the Least City for Your Dollar
Today's video is a companion piece to my previous video, Affordable Cities: 10 US Metro Areas With Underrated Livability, Walkability and Transit. Like that video, this one approaches the question, Which city should I move to? but does it from the opposite direction! I've talked about affordable cities that have great walkability, useful transit, and high-level urban amenities, but what about expensive cities that have the opposite of all those things?
I discuss how to think about whether a city is expensive or not, and some of the things that might offset expensive rent or a big mortgage: transit and walkability that mean you spend significantly less on a car, cultural amenities that mean you need to spend less on travel to more cosmopolitan cities, weather that means you spend less on travel to tropical winter destinations.
This is CityNerd's guide to the ten most overrated cities to live in the U.S. Your results may vary, so let me know what you think I overrated or underrated down in the comments!

10 Worst States for IQ
Let's face it. When you visit some places in this country you wonder what is the IQ of these people. I did when I was in Tennessee and saw a guy wrap the gas pump hose around his feet while pumping gas and then try and walk away. There are states in this country that have a very low IQ. Places you know don't turn out many doctors or lawyers.
For some people living around a bunch of low-level thinkers is enough not to want to buy a house near them. Nobody wants to be paying a mortgage next to a man that wears a hat that says Who Farted every single day. I had a neighbor that did. It sucked. He wasn't big on showering either.
For all of you that hate California and student loan debt, they made this list.

If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine and rainbows. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.
