Sea lion encounter at Blue Lagoon Island in Nassau Bahamas
Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas shore excursion to Nassau Bahamas, Blue Lagoon Island is a must! Carnival cruise line and Norwegian Cruise passengers were on the island the same day and it was not over crowded! A beautiful ferry ride over to the Blue Lagoon Island, interacting with Sea lions for an hour and exploring the dolphin and stingray areas made for an amazing day! Water shoes are a great idea as the walkways were hot and the platforms are slippery! Lockers are available while you are in the water. Segways, kayaks, snorkeling and lunch is available on Blue Lagoon Island for add ons once on the island, but the beach and water trampolines were included with our Sea Lion excursion. Prices are listed for different activities and photos and video of your encounter with the Sea Lion is listed as well. @RoyalCaribbean

Falkland Islands | A Journey to the Bottom of the Earth
Come along on a journey to the bottom of the earth on my two week trip to the Falkland Islands. I assembled this video to show you what I saw and hopefully, I can make you feel, at least a little bit, the way I did when leaving the Falklands.
And for those of you who might not know that much about the Falkland Islands, I also added a real brief history of the islands and a little bit about the Falklands War.
The Falkland Islands are one of those rare places left where you can escape the modern world. Located 300 miles to the east of the bottom tip of South America. Their remote location has left the Falklands a place for one of a kind wildlife encounters.
Of all the places we’ve visited in recent years the Falklands are unlike any of the others – and I think that is was what I grew to love about the Falklands the most.

GALAPAGOS San Cristobal Island Tour - Sea Lion Island, La Loberia Beach & More
Galapagos San Cristobal Island tour was the first stop in the Galapagos. In this video I take you to La Loberia Beach, Charles Darwin Bay, Sea Lion Island and Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. This is an amazing video for swimming and snorkeling with sea lions and seeing Blue-footed boobies on Sea Lion Island.
Off the coast of Ecuador, the Galapagos archipelago consists of 21 islands with 18 being major. It’s located on the Nazca plate and is a volcanic hotspot. The youngest island, Isabela, has 5 volcanoes, including Sierra Negra, the most active in the Galapagos. The Galapagos National Park and Marine Reserve protect the land and water for research and conservation. The islands’ plant life is mostly semi-desert with shrubs, grasslands and dry forests. However, some islands have highlands with more rain and cooler temperatures.
Charles Darwin, the famous Naturalist from UK sailed to the Galapagos in 1835 on the HMS Beagle. He explored 4 of the islands, discovering species that compelled him to research evolutionary biology. Especially, the adaptations of the finches, marine iguanas and giant tortoises confirmed this theory. Therefore, this was the most influential ecosystem, from which he researched and published On the Origin of Species about natural selection.

Beagle Channel Boat Trip | Sea Lions, Birds, Lighthouse | Ushuaia, Argentina
The first thing we did in Ushuaia, Argentina was a boat trip on the Beagle Channel. We cruised around Bird Island (Isla de los Pajaros) with terns and Cormorants, and Sea Lion Island (Isla de los Lobos) with a colony of sleepy sea lions. We then saw the Lighthouse at the End of the World. With exceptional scenery of Tierra Del Fuego and city views of Ushuaia with the tall granite mountain peaks above it, a Beagle. Channel Tour is a must-do!
Named after HMS Beagle, the channel was visited by Charles Darwin during the ship's second trip. It is located at the extreme tip of South America. It is a great place for wildlife watching.

Sea Lion Plays With Tourists At The Beach
Tourists are surprised when a friendly sea lion (and his trainer) show up unexpectedly at a beach near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Everyone got to watch the sea lion play in the water, pose for pictures, and do a few tricks. This was part of a cruise ship shore excursion to Las Caletas beach, during a cruise on the Norwegian Bliss cruise ship.
Las Caletas beach is a private attraction near Puerto Vallarta, developed and operated by Vallarta Adventures. Many visiting cruise ships offer this shore excursion to their passengers.
My apologies for the distorted sound in portions of this video. I had placed my camera's recording volume mode in manual for a previous project, and forgot to set it back to automatic before shooting this video. Therefore, the soundtrack got distorted at times.
