2 Weeks in Paradise: Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea in 4K
We had an amazing 2 weeks during our vacation / honeymoon in French Polynesia: we went to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea. This paradise had some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced; this might be one of the best places in the world to snorkel. We saw so many varieties of fish, sharks, sting rays, octopuses, manta rays, moray eels, corals, and more. On land, the beaches and scenery were breathtaking. The islands were filled with beautiful sandy beaches everywhere. The jungle was also so lush, and did not have dangerous animals. And the over water bungalows at the hotels were amazing!

Bora Bora - #island in #french #Polynesia.
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. It's also a popular luxury resort destination where some guest bungalows are perched over the water on stilts. At the island's center rises Mt. Otemanu, a 727m dormant volcano.

Bora Bora is like paradise on earth. It is one of our favorite tropical islands. We enjoyed our first trip to Bora Bora so much that we decided to go back. But on this trip, we chartered a catamaran. We have sailed both catamarans and monohul sailing boats, but because the lagoon in Bora Bora is so shallow in certain spots, a catamaran allowed us to explore more parts of the lagoon than a monohul would have. We were able to sail passed the famous Bora Bora overwater bungalows and sail to the Paul Emile Victor Reef, one of the best snorkeling reefs in Bora Bora.
If you are preparing a trip to Bora Bora, especially if you are preparing a sailing trip to Bora Bora, we hope you will find this video informative. But even if you just want to see what are the things to see in Bora Bora or the things to do in Bora Bora, we hope you enjoy this Bora Bora video.
