Tuvalu, an obscure jewel in the South Pacific, holds the distinction of being the world's least-visited country. Situated in a region often overlooked by tourists, Tuvalu's obscurity is due to its remote location and limited infrastructure. The mere mention of Tuvalu usually draws blank expressions from most people, as it remains a well-kept secret on the global travel map.
This tiny island nation occupies an area only twice the size of the Los Angeles airport or a mere quarter of the expanse of Disney World.
