3 Days Solo in Singapore (Travel Guide)
This is how I spent my 3 days solo in the beautiful country of Singapore.
Before I arrived in Singapore, all I knew about the country/city/island was that it was clean and modern. That description didn't particularly excite me.
Nobody bothered to tell me how incredibly beautiful, green, diverse, and delicious it is. My experience in Singapore catapulted it onto my all-time favorite places list, and I think more people (Americans particularly) would not regret the long flight to get there.
I stayed at the ST Signature Hostel in Tanjong Pagar and frequented Torasho, the restaurant next door (to which I awarded the first ever Phil Star). Other highlights include Gardens by the Bay, the riverwalk, and biking in East Coast Park.
Special thanks to Daniel, Abel, and Brandon for helping me experience one of Singapore's great institutions: the hawker center.

Singapore Itinerary - The Perfect 3 Day Singapore Itinerary
There definitely isn’t any place like Singapore. Whether you are a first-time visitor or heading there again, Singapore has so much to offer that you can never explore all of it at once. Here’s a 3-day itinerary to help you make the most of your Singapore trip.
Day 1: Singapore Zoo and Clark Quay
Kick-start start your day with a delicious and scrumptious Singaporean breakfast of kaya toast, runny eggs and a strong and sweet coffee at a local cafe.
Now that you are charged up, prepare for a day at the Singapore Zoo, which is considered the best rainforest zoo in the world. You will need at least three hours here.
Come evening, take a stroll along the banks of the Singapore River or hop onto a glass-top boat or bumboat. Tired after the long day? Just relax and enjoy a lip-smacking dinner at Clarke Quay overlooking the Singapore River. And if you still don’t want to call it quits, dance the night away at the peppy pubs and bars around!
Day 2: Sentosa Island and Little India
Though not a beach destination, Singapore’s island getaway—Sentosa Island is packed with adventure, and has everything from world-class theme parks to an array of underwater sports.
