TRADITIONAL Korean STREET FOOD Market Tour in Busan South Korea

I had some Korea videos and forgot to share this great food adventure with you. This was during my trip to Korea in December 2017, where I went to Busan. And while in Busan I had to check out the street food markets. Enjoy! :-)

Korean Street Food - EXTREME SEAFOOD + Must Eat Food in Busan, South Korea!! ????????

???????? Korea’s Spiciest Beef Ribs:
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili:

BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA - Welcome to Busan, a major city in southern South Korea and it happens to be one of the seafood capitals of the world! Today we’re going on an extreme street food and seafood tour in Busan - get prepared for some of the best local Korean food.

Jagalchi Market, Busan, South Korea - No trip to Busan is complete without visiting the main seafood market where you can literally busy anything from the sea - it’s supposedly the biggest seafood market in South Korea. You can buy fresh seafood and go to a restaurant upstairs to cook and eat it. Price at seafood meal: 90,000 KRW ($67.38 USD) for seafood

Baekhwa Yang-gobchang (백화양곱창) - When people in th seafood industry want to eat, they might be pretty tired of seafood, and so one of the historical foods to eat in Busan is actually intestines bbq at the market. They grill it right in front of you, the big and small intestines. It’s an amazing experience! Price at intestines bbq: 75,000 KRW ($56.15 USD) for everything

Gukje Milmyeon (국제밀면) - There’s nangmyeon in the north, but in the south of Busan, milmyeon is the noodle of choice, and it’s a Korean food you don’t want to miss. Price: 9,000 KRW ($6.74 USD) per bowl

Gukje Market Food Street (국제시장) - Next up on this Korean street food tour in Busan we visited the Gukje Market for some of the most iconic street food snacks.

Amnam Park - Pojang Macha - Lastly there’s no Korean food experience quite like eating at a Pojang Macha, a tent on the side of the sea where people come to eat and drink and grill trays of seafood with butter and cheese!

Busan is a fantastic city and a must visit destination if you love Korean food!

Thank you to KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) for sponsoring and making my trip to South Korea happen!

KOREAN BBQ and STREET FOOD at Haeundae Traditional Market in Busan South Korea

Before my food adventure begins in Busan at the Haeundae Market, I had to try some street foods, which was a great start to my food day. Then I ate some fresh eel and be aware if you eat eel because the eel was still moving while it was cooking. For my last stop, I had some amazing Hanwoo beef in Busan, and it was one of the most tender and juicy beef I had in Korea.

Ultimate KOREAN STREET FOOD Tour in Busan, Korea:

Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.

Our most recent trip was to South Korea where I embarked upon a two-week adventure without Audrey. Invited as part of a YouTube vlogging trip, organized by KTO, I spent the first week traveling with other YouTubers in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My second week included independent exploration of Korea with my good friend and fellow YouTuber David of DavidsBeenHere.

Having lived and traveled in South Korea, the chance to return to one of my favorite countries was one of the biggest surprises of 2019. On this particular trip, I had an opportunity to do many things I had not previously covered including a visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between South Korea and North Korea), a Buddhist Temple Stay and a Korean cooking class. It was almost as if the program designed by KTO knew exactly what I had missed out on before.

Obviously, a huge highlight from the two weeks I spent revisiting Korea was the food. I feasted on all of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean barbecue, dolsot bibimbap, haemul pajeon, tteokbokki, bulgogi, kimbap and many others. I can honestly say that Korean food is world-class and is one of my top 5 favorite cuisines in the world. Aside from trying familiar dishes, I had the opportunity to sample raw Korean seafood for the first time.

While visiting Seoul, highlights included going to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Seoul Tower, Jogyesa Temple and Hongdae. As one of the biggest cities in the world, I barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seoul.

Spending extended time in Busan was my favorite part about the trip with top highlights including a Korean temple stay, fresh fish markets and a Korean baseball game. It was from Busan that we ended up taking a day-trip to Daegu where we enjoyed a traditional Korean market and tried Galbi-Jjim for the first time.

If you want to see more videos from Korea in the future, let us know in the comments what places you'd like us to travel to and what food experiences you'd like to see on this travel channel.

UNREAL Korean Street Food Tour in BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA | Best local street food in Busan

Subscribe for more food and travel videos:
We’ve found the BEST local STREET FOOD in BUSAN! We take you on a local Korean street food tour in Seomyeon, Busan, South Korea to discover amazing Busan street food...

We eat:

Kalguksu and mandu
Kalguksu are handmade, knife cut noodles and this local spot offers freshly made noodles in bowls of anchovy broth. We also eat their giant mandu or dumplings which are stuffed full of chives, glass noodles and minced pork. The eatery we ate at can be found on 266-17 Bujeong 1(il)-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.

Gimbap (seaweed rice rolls)
The local market is the perfect place to find some delicious snacks. We find a stall in Bujeon market doing a brisk business in making gimpab- seaweed rice rolls stuffed full of ingredients including pickles, ham, surimi, egg and more.

Chimaek (chicken and beer)
Chimaek is a classic when in Korea! Our favourite chimaek stalls are the ones where the chickens are double fried and served simply- just with salt and pepper and some white, pickled radish. Wash it all down with a beer and you have a stellar meal!
Where we ate: 플레이파크PC South Korea, Busan, Busanjin-gu, Bujeon-dong, 261-1

Korean Street Toast
One of Korea’s most popular snacks is Korean Street Toast. Two slices of white bread are slathered with butter and sandwich an omelette, cabbage, tomato sauce and sprinkled sugar. It’s sweet, savoury, buttery goodness.
The street toast vendors we ate from are located at the entrance to Bujeon Market at 266-17 Bujeong 1(il)-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.

Patjuk (red bean porridge)
Bujeon Market has a range of stalls serving hot porridge. We sample the dan patjuk or red bean porridge which turns out to be a savoury version. The patjuk contains pieces of rice cake which melt into the hot porridge creating a gooey, delicious mess!
