London is one of the top cities that people around the world plan or wish to visit someday, for the history that it carries and for the different touristic attractions and places to visit that are found in it. Through our trip to London, we succeeded at bringing you the top 10 things to do in this city.
There are some attractions or important attractions that people will always be planning to visit, such as Buckingham Palace for example ( but as much as these are considered important when it comes to the history of this city, one should also get a little bit creative about the places that he/she should visit in the city that he/she is travelling to in order to explore more things about the place.
According to our trip to London, the top 10 things to do in this city include:
10 - Taking a Walk Around Hyde Park: there are different parks in London in general, but one of the most famous out there is Hyde Park and this is usually the one that travelers tend to visit to know why it is gaining all this popularity. Walking through the park, having something to eat there and enjoying the lake inside are all counted as interesting things to be done there (
9 - Climb Aboard HMS Belfast: A lot of people don't even know about the history of this ship and that's why they might not even consider placing it on the list of places to visit in London. We have been there and we loved getting to know about its history and at the same time exploring this old ship itself while standing there in London (
8 - Exploring Sea Life London Aquarium: If you are travelling with your kids then this would be one of the important places to go to, because even though you will fall in love easily with the different sea creatures which you are going to get introduced to, you will also learn more about them and might see new ones which you have never seen before. This would turn out to be more loved by the kids, so this is also one thing to place among the long list (
7 - Visit Camden Town: This is an old historical place in London, but in addition to the market which is the most famous and which has been standing there since a very long period of time, visitors could also go there to have something to eat and have a drink (
6 - Experience the View from Sky Garden: As much as this is considered one of the top recommended places to have a drink while being in London, it is also one of the recommended places for the top views that it offers over the city! Just mesmerizing! (
5 - Enjoy the Scenery at Big Ben: And here comes one of the destinations or attractions which we are pretty sure that you have already placed in your list, because who out there would go to London without checking Big Ben? Almost nobody (
4 - Visit Buckingham Palace: Buckingham Palace where the Royal Family resides is one of the places that people love to visit for the beauty of the building itself, as well as for attending the change of the guards which is one of the interesting things to witness.
3 - Visit Chinatown: There is a place in the city of London that is known as Chinatown and it gives those stepping into it the feeling of entering a part of China for the Asian food, the Asian decorations and every other thing that might be related to China. When you visit Chinatown, make sure to have a walk there and at the same time, enjoy eating a meal before leaving (
2 - Go to Borough Market: Borough Market is a wholesale and retail food market in Southwark, and it is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, with a market on the site dating back to the 12th century. We recommend this place for the travelers because in this market they will manage to sample Britain's foods and will most probably find everything they might have been searching for or everything they wanted to taste.

London Eye is one of the top destinations in the city of London and one which tourists love to go to in order to see the whole city or as much as possible from up there (

London is all about the different touristic attractions that one could visit while being there, some of them are considered the most popular while others are just considered interesting and thus might be calling out for the tourists. There are top 10 free things to do in London which we would like to recommend.
The touristic places which one will choose when it comes to London will always depend on several things: it will depend on the likes and dislikes of the person, it will depend on the most famous landmarks that define London city and eventually it will depend on the number of days that one will be spending there.
There are 10 free things to do in London when you are running out of money or if you are just considering the free things that could be done. Here is the list:
10 - The Tower Bridge: the Tower Bridge is one of the different things that define the city of London, once one gets to plan a visit to London, this becomes one of the initial things they consider visiting because they believe it is from the top attractions. Actually one could enter the Tower Bridge, but since we are talking about the free things then walking on it will be the thing to consider.
9 - Visiting St. James's Park: there are lots of parks in London that we could recommend for people to visit, but one of the most famous is St. James's Park and this allows visitors to come inside and have a walk through for free, without paying any entrance fees, so this would be another suggestion we would provide (
8 - The Scenery of Big Ben: if you ask any person travelling to London about the top scenes that he/she wants to visit and which he/she considers the top, he/she will definitely answer that Big Ben is definitely one of the top attractions in the city that define London. Walking around Big Ben, taking photos and enjoying the scenery is another free thing to enjoy (
7 - Explore the Parliament Square: adding to those previous suggestions, there are still other important free places which we should suggest in London, such as the Parliament Square where Churchill statue and other ones are located and where people enjoy taking several photos there, which is also next to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey (
6 - Walking through the Greenery Kensington Gardens: Kensington Garden is famous for several reasons, it is famous for the Albert Memorial that is placed inside ( as well as for the Kensington Palace which is located inside ( and for one to come inside and walk across this greenery, they will be allowed to do so for free ( This is also located next to Buckingham Palace which people could visit and check when they are done.
5 - Taking a Walk around Hyde Park: through all the different parks that are located in London, Hyde Park is known to be the most famous for being big, having different restaurants for one to eat at and at the same time for enjoying siting by the lake inside. You could enter this park for free and enjoy a walk there (
4 - Visit Buckingham Palace: it is not just about seeing the Royal Palace where the Royal Family is residing, but it is also about checking the fountain in front of it and at the same time visiting during the change of the guards, which is very interesting to watch (
3 - The Supreme Court: this might not be an interesting place for all the tourists, but it is definitely one that some will consider checking to see these rooms in real instead of always getting to see them in the pictures or just imagine how they look like in real.
2 - Visit the Tate Modern: this is an old art museum that gives tourists and visitors the chance to come inside and check the different pieces of art for free and thus it is definitely one of the several suggestions which we will give for all those looking for free things to do in London (
1 - Walking Along the South Bank: coming to the top free attractions from our point of view, we will tell that the South Bank is the place to be and check all the art, the culture and even the food places that one could enjoy in this area. This is definitely one of the best places in the city and it is also where London Eye is situated (

10 Best Free Things to Do in London
London is an expensive city, but being a tourist doesn't have to break your wallet. Here are 10 free or really cheap attractions in London! The first is the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. It's the quintessential London Experience -- make sure you get there an hour early, and wait until at least 1134 when the main gates open!
2. Royal Parks
- London has tons of parks that used to only be open to the royal family, but now you can enjoy them just like the kings and queens did!
3. Sky Garden Observatory
- Get a birds eye view of London from this free Observatory on top of the Walkie Talkie building. Make a reservation in advance!
4. Walk along the South Bank of the Thames
- Known as the Queen's Walk, walking along the South Bank is one of my favorite things to do in London.
5. Watch Street Performers at Covent Garden Market
- Out in front of Covent Garden Market there always seems to be some street performers, and when one is done, another one comes out!
6. Picadilly Circus
- London's equivalent of Times Square, bright lights and big signs!
7. Tate Modern Museum
- Another great view of London, and some very interesting art
8. Go Window Shopping at London's Department Stores
- Particularly on Oxford Street, and at Harrod's, London's department stores always have really neat window displays
9. Rent a Santander Bicycle
- Ok, so it costs 2 GBP, but it's almost free!
10. Ride a Double Decker Bus
- Skip the really expensive hop on hop off busses, and go up to the 2nd deck at the front and see another neat perspective on London. Only 1.50 GBP

- This hotel in INSIDE the London Zoo -- sleep NEAR (not with) the Lions.
7 - Sir John Soane's Museum
When he wasn’t designing notable buildings (among them the original Bank of England), Sir John Soane (1753-1837) obsessively collected art, furniture and architectural ornamentation... and this is his house, now a museum.
9 - Tate Modern
- I'm sure I'll get some hate mail from modern art fans on this one... but visit Tate Modern for some weird art.
