Brunei Darussalam Shopping Mall
Brunei Darussalam 2013. Brunei became a British protectorate in 1888. Brunei was achieved independence in 1984. Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque are being showed in this video. Population of Brunei is 412,000 and area 5,765 sq. km. Capital is Bander Seri Begawan. Other main towns are Comprising Kampong Ayer, Kuala Belait, Seria, Muara and Bangar. The main deep-water port is at Muara, with a dedicated container terminal. Brunei was the only Malay state in 1963 to choose to remain a British dependency rather than join the Malaysian Federation. Brunei became the first east Asian country to officially adopt Islamic Sharia law in 2014, with possible punishments to include stoning for adultery, amputation for theft and flogging for drinking alcohol. Officially open last December 2022, The One is has the modern aesthetic - from its open air concept, translucent roof and the refreshing seating area in the lobby. Special mention is the Brunei Made store (a haven of Brunei products for tourists and locals alike) at the 1st floor and the Surau at the 2nd floor.

After 10 years, I have returned to the country that I enjoyed THE LEAST in all of my travels… Brunei. It’s a tiny country on Borneo island, sandwiched in between Malaysia and Indonesia, and I was very nervous to go back. Why? Because my last video there was all about how much I hated it, and I was so worried that I would be thrown in jail by the government, or even yelled at by the locals…. But this time around, I went in with fresh eyes and a new perspective, and I really enjoyed it!!!

JJ means Jalan-Jalan (window shopping) at the most popular Shopping Mall in the City of Brunei, the name of the Shopping Mall is 'The Mall' located in the busy center at Jalan Gadong. Date: 05.08.2021, Sunday, around Noon hour.
This video showing that many Shops are closed & not many customers around (in the video hardly can see any customers). The reason is the 2nd Wave of Covid19 hit Brunei since end of July'21 from the first new positive case detected that day. Country starts to lockdown, practices social distance, wear face masks, and follow the strict preventive measure of the SOP rules. Since then, the positive cases keep going on everyday, on the average 100+ new positive cases daily recording.
