Rome Vacation Travel Guide | Top things to do in Rome | Italy | Vlog | #monturokks.

Rome, Italy, commonly referred to as the Eternal City, is a top travel destination that draws millions of visitors each year. An exuberant and modern world capital, Rome offers travelers fascinating reminders of its imperial past at every turn.

Best Time to Visit: Since Rome has a Mediterranean climate, there's really no bad time to visit. If you want to avoid the crowds and the heat of summer, we recommend coming to Rome in the late spring or early autumn when the weather is mild and lines tend to be shorter. For average daily temperatures and rainfall, month by month, see our article.

Language: Italian is the official language1, but you'll find that many people speak some English, especially those who work in the tourist industry. That said, it's always a good idea to bring along a pocket-sized phrasebook or download one of the many free language translation apps on your smartphone, just in case.

Currency: As a member of the European Union2, Italy uses the Euro (€). Prices include tax and credit cards are widely accepted in restaurants, hotels, and shops. But when purchasing small items like a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza, or a glass of wine, plan on paying cash.

Getting Around: Although Rome is a big metropolis, the historic center, or centro storico, is fairly compact, making it a highly walkable city. Public transport in Rome is run by ATAC, which operates the buses and trams linking riders to most areas in the city. The Metro subway system is affordable and quick.

????????ROME / ITALY Nightlife 4k Lockdown 2021

Looking for the latest news about the Coronavirus Rome? What's the situation here? What's it like in Rome right now? What restrictions are in place? Can you plan your trip to Italy?

I've been getting lots of similar questions about Covid-19 in Rome via email and across all my social media channels, so I wanted to create a video to answer them

When everything went on lockdown on feb/2021, people across Italy complied with the restrictions. However, life carried on. People were walking their dogs, going to the grocery and pharmacy, and doing basic things to live life as best we could under the circumstances.

Towards the end of May, restrictions started loosening and normal life resumed, with some adjustments to keep us all safe.

The streets of Rome were much quieter than in previous years, but we saw a steady increase in the number of people in the city after restrictions were lifted.

As we got closer to the end of the year, restrictions were reintroduced and travel options reduced, so the city has been quieter once again.

I hear so many business owners wondering if they are going to make it. Rome needs tourists. We miss you and we need you.

Travelling to Italy during a Pandemic. Why Italy needs tourists.

At the start of the pandemic, Italy was one of the worst affected countries in Europe. But as of June 3rd, Italy has opened its borders to a number of European countries without requiring visitors to quarantine. Is it safe to be travelling to Italy right now, and why are they so keen to be welcome in millions of foreign tourists so soon after lockdown?

Venice is sinking?! Mass tourism explained:

Italy After Lockdown - A Travel Documentary (Venice, Dolomites, Milan)

In this vlog style travel documentary, I visit Italy after the country reopened to tourism. After exploring the streets of Venice, I drive towards the spectacular Dolomites mountains, where I spend most of my time. Finally, I finish the journey with a quick visit to Milan.

In this short film, I show you some of the highlights of this trip, and hope to give you an impression what it’s like to travel again after (Covid-19) lockdown.

Italy is one of the most popular places to visit in Europe, and was also among the hardest hit countries on the continent by the coronavirus outbreak (especially the North). The country's economy relies heavily on tourism, and many Italians' livelihoods depend on it. Like elsewhere, however, Italy is also trying to find a balance between public health and the economy.

If you decide to travel, please respect local Covid-19 regulation and guidelines.

Visiting Italy for the first time - Some tips on how to get the best experince! (Sep 2020)

Today we want to give your few tips for visiting Italy for the first time. Visiting a new country might be overwhelming for the first time; that's why we want to give you a few tips. First, tip the 3-2-1 method. Basically, you want to spend 3 days in a big city (Ig. Rome, Florence) 2 days in a smaller city (Ig. Venice), and one day traveling in between cities. This way, you will enjoy what you see without getting too exhausted. The second important tip is don't try to see it all! If it is your first time traveling to Italy, you definitely want to see it all the Cinque Terre, The Amalfi Coast, Florence, Rome, Pisa, Capri, Venice etc... let us tell you it is impossible.
Even for us living in Italy would take more than a month to see it all. Plan strategically and pick a few must-see Everything else to keep if for trip number 2 or 3. Also, when traveling to Italy for the first time, try the local food. Look for places where local people eat. This will guarantee you a much better experience. Another important tip do you research in advance. There is nothing more frustrating than going back home and discover that you were a few steps away from a famous landmark, and you totally missed it. Another tip for traveling to Italy for the first time is to book your museums, gallery, sites etc. in advance. Even better, book the skip the line tickets. Sometimes lines can be brutal, and you don't want to waist half a day just waiting. Other than that, enjoy your trip to Italy and take many great memories back home with you.

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

◈ A brief description of our shooting style ????????
In this channel we film from the point of view of the observer what surrounds us while we walk or ride scooter or bicycle.
The kind of film we make can be defined as Slow TV, i.e. filming ordinary events (such as a walk) for their entire duration, with original audio and without editing (except for unforeseen circumstances or technical reasons).
We decided to use this mode of shooting because we believe that in this way we can show (in addition to the places) a small slice of reality. This seems more interesting to us than showing the usual glossy films.

◈ How to use our Videos ????
You can actively watch our videos, look at the details, read the names of the streets we pass through, and make comments about the places we visit (we'll be happy to reply).
Alternatively, you can use our videos as a relaxing backdrop while doing something else, such as Saturday morning breakfast or a ride on your exercise bike.

The WORST Tourist Trap in India

This restaurant and souvenir shop on India's famous Golden Triangle route is the worst tourist trap I've ever come across! The souvenirs are massively marked up, their cruddy restaurant charges 5-star prices, and they're busy breaking the law by rubbing out the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on their snacks too.

This video will also help you learn the basic prices for souvenirs in India. Always buy them from a market rather than greedy stores like these. Even your hotel's souvenir store will be a better option.

Avoid Motel Gangaur (मोटल गणगौर) on NH11 Agra-Jaipur road at all costs!
