NIGHTMARE First Day in Naples Italy. Is it Safe? ????
We've arrived in Naples for the first time and off to a very bad start. We were scammed the moment we arrived by a taxi driver. Taxi driver scams are common throughout the world, we just didn't expect it in Italy on our very first day. It left us with a very bad first impression of Naples, Italy.
We continue the video and try to put the bad beginning behind us by exploring the city.
We walk around the city and right away enjoy the vibe. It's a little gritty but also pretty, there are lots of people and lots of good food. We walk down Christmas alley which has Christmas items for sale all year long
To cheer ourselves up we stop to get an Aperol spritz right on the street that you can take away.
We walk around some more and because it's so hot we stop for an iced coffee to cool down on one of the main pedestrian streets Via Benedetto Croce.
Our very cute apartment that we rented is very near so we do a tour of the one bedroom loft.

Lastly we head out again to get a bite to eat. We were just in Sicily which is famous for Arancini, and Naples has a similar street food but instead it's fried pasta called frittatina, we found it at a place called Passione di Sofi.
Afterwards we head to Piazza Bellini where you'll find lots of people hanging out and some old ruins.

In this vlog style travel documentary, I visit Italy after the country reopened to tourism. After exploring the streets of Venice, I drive towards the spectacular Dolomites mountains, where I spend most of my time. Finally, I finish the journey with a quick visit to Milan.
In this short film, I show you some of the highlights of this trip, and hope to give you an impression what it’s like to travel again after (Covid-19) lockdown.
Italy is one of the most popular places to visit in Europe, and was also among the hardest hit countries on the continent by the coronavirus outbreak (especially the North). The country's economy relies heavily on tourism, and many Italians' livelihoods depend on it. Like elsewhere, however, Italy is also trying to find a balance between public health and the economy.

Cockpit Casual - The Cargo Conversion (Part One) | Cockpit View | Avgeek Series
Did you know that many cargo aircraft start life as passenger aircraft? Presently, Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767, Airbus A321, A330, and MD-80s can be converted from Passenger to Freighter or (P2F). Soon, the A320 and B-777 will also join the list as new STCs are being developed. This is nothing new of course - 727s, DC-8s, DC-9s, DC-10s, and MD-11s have been converted for years. It's a great way to recycle aging airframes and engines and give new life and value to aircraft that still have years left in them.
The Air-Cargo market has remained hot throughout COVID, and many airlines used make-shift Cabin Freighters to continue to supplement their bottom line during the tough times from 2020 to 2022. LATAM Cargo, a subsidiary of the LATAM Airline Group is a dedicated all-cargo airline operating the Boeing 767-300-BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter). LATAM (Lan Chile and TAM) operated passenger 767-300ERs for many years, and as they retire them from passenger service, they send them over to Singapore to be converted to full freighters. In doing so, they utilize the expert-services of Steve Giordano and his team at the Nomadic Aviation Group to bring the empty aircraft from the United States to Singapore where the conversions take place over a 3-4 month period.
The Cargo Conversion series follows the journey of a pair of such aircraft: CC-CXE and CC-CXD as they are ferried to Singapore via Anchorage, and then later returned to Miami via Honolulu. In Part One, you'll ride with Steve, Chris, and Tom as they fly these sister ships over to Singapore.

During our stay in Naples, Italy we stayed in a very simple bed & breakfast style hotel near the central train station.
I can't say anything bad about the accommodation, it's cheap and simple, perfect for a couple of days.The hotel was a good starting point for exploring nearby towns, such as Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri.
