Norfolk Island Trip Before COVID19 - Highlights in 4K

I still have some video footage from my trip to Norfolk Island in 2019, which I have never got any chance to look at until now. A year later, COVID hit the world, and it changed everything and everyone. Some of the memories are real, while some are simply becoming more and more blurred.

The Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area has a ruined British penal colony.

PITCAIRN ISLANDS Top 10 Tourist Places | Pitcairn Islands Tourism

Pitcairn Islands (Things to do - Places to Visit) - PITCAIRN ISLANDS Top Tourist Places
British Overseas Territory

The Pitcairn Islands, officially Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie, and Oeno Islands, are a group of four volcanic islands in the southern Pacific Ocean that form the sole British Overseas Territory in the Pacific Ocean.

Pitcairn is the least populous national jurisdiction in the world. The Pitcairn Islanders are a biracial ethnic group descended mostly from nine Bounty mutineers and the handful of Tahitians who accompanied them, an event that has been retold in many books and films.

Norfolk Island - Australia - There’s more to Norfolk Island...

Norfolk Island with its warm, quirky, caring and down to earth people set against the most dramatic, rugged and sensational background.

For years, travellers have escaped to this tiny volcanic outcrop in the middle of the South Pacific to savour the special subtropical blend of soaring pines, azure lagoons, brooding rainforests, dramatic coastline, scenic adventures and ever- smiling locals who open their idyllic homes to new guests.

Aside from lazing under the native cliff-top pines overlooking the dreamy blue Pacific you can snorkel in the lagoons, surf awesome breakers, hike amongst the world’s tallest tree-ferns to find the world’s rarest bird, taste Norfolk’s own cuisine using ingredients grown out of its pure soils, gallop across the evergreen hills and dales on horseback, explore World Heritage listed convict sites in Kingston and St Arthur’s Vale, play golf on one of the world’s greenest and most beautiful courses, explore the un- touched and deserted Philip Island, see vivid recreations of Norfolk’s time as a penal colony and as a postscript for history’s most famous mutiny.

There’s more to Norfolk Island...
