COPACABANA, is the main Bolivian town on the shore of Lake Titicaca, is known for its famous Basilica, home of the Virgin of Copacabana, town has app. 6000 inhabitants. From Copacabana, boats leave for Isla del Sol.
LA PAZ is located in the valley of the Andes, has the highest elevation of any goverment City in the world - between 3200 - 4100 m over sea water level, with a population of 2,3 milion inhabitants.

ISLA DEL SOL, is an Island in the Lake Titicaca. There are no motor vehicles on the Island. The main economic activiti of the app. 350 families on the Island is farming, fishing and tourism.There are a several villages, Yumani and Challapampa are the largest.
TITICACA lake is located in the Andes between Bolivia and Peru. It sits 3812 m above sea level, making it the highest navigable lake in the world, the average depth is 107 m, 25 rivers feed into Titicaca, has 41 islands and biggest is Isla del Sol.

Located on the south side of the Sol Island in the Yumani community, Hostal de Sol offers accommodations in Isla del Sol Island. Breakfast is included, and may be taken in the room.

Hostal del Sol is located on the Isla del Sol island, which is off the coast of Copacabana. Boat ride to the island takes about 2 hours, and the city of La Paz is located approximately a 3 hour drive from Copacabana. Once on the island, guests are encouraged to walk and discover the ruins, there is a 40 minute walk from the hotel to Templo del Sol archaeological ruins. The property is a 5-minute walk from the Caminata del Mirador where guests can start trekking to the north side of the island.
The guest house is 3.2 miles from Challapampa Comunity, 4.2 miles from Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla and 5.3 miles from Moon Island. An airport shuttle and a boat shuttle can be booked for an extra charge.

About This Video: Hey! I got a new Program! I went from super basic free Windows Movie Maker to the complex beast of Adobe Premiere Pro. Hang in there with me as I get used to it but so far I am really liking it. Also a little about Bolivian Internet...I Hate You. This video is currently at 89% after about 7 days up upload time in Pubs, Coffee shops, and The Hostel Kultur Berlin. The worst is actually the hostel. It moves at between 2 - 20kbps. For those nontechy people that is at best half of the dial-up internet of the 90's - or about 1.5-2.5 min to load a standard non-highres photo. Bolivian internet is the slowest and most expensive in SA with 1Mbps costing around $30USD with some ISPs still selling dial-up.
