St. Patrick's Day in Boston! Grabbing a Coffee at Caffè Nero on Newbury Street

If you lived in the Back Bay area of Boston, this would be your morning coffee run on an unseasonably warm St. Paddy's Day.

Newbury Street has a mix of shops and eateries. Its renovated brownstone buildings feature coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants, with stores at all retail levels. However, due to the concentration of up-scale stores at its lower end, it's known as one of the most expensive streets in the world.

Newbury Street develops its own very distinctive and appealing character and becomes one of the nicest shopping streets in Boston, or anywhere. Renovated town houses with large glass bays on the ground floor produce a delightful urban landscape.... Owners and tenants... have further animated the street by using the 25-foot (7.6 m) space between the building and the sidewalk for various purposes. Some areas are paved and used for displays or sidewalk sales. Others have thick planting... Some lots have stairs up and down to shops and galleries; others have show windows and display cases for flowers or fashions or other items for sale. But each contributes something extra, and together they make these blocks of Newbury Street genuinely attractive.

11 Most Opulent MANSIONS on MILLIONAIRE’S ROW (New York City)

New York’s Fifth Avenue! The place where the richest families in America would come to flaunt their wealth and outdo one another! The place where grandiose mansions were built, and a robust culture of pomp, fanfare, and glamour was established.

Today, we are taking you on a trip to New York City. But not just anywhere in New York City. Today, we’re taking you straight to 5th Ave. An avenue known for hosting some of the most moneyed families in American history, so much so, that for a period of time it was called Millionaire’s Row.

Located on Manhattan Island, along midtown 5th Ave, well into the eastern borders of Central Park, Millionaire’s Row got its start in the mid-1800s, when it became trendy for the wealthy to build their mansions close to the Astors on 5th Ave and 34th street. It wasn’t until the later part of the century when the millionaires further ventured into midtown and then further up into the Upper East Side, that the avenue was coined the term “Millionaire’s Row”.

Today, though still a very wealthy part of Manhattan, Billionaire’s Row is now center stage, and much of the extravagant homes have been demolished. However, there are a few that still remain standing. And if you’ve got a few minutes to spare, you’re welcome to come along with us on our tour of the most memorable, most outstanding mansions that existed in the history of this most swanky avenue .

Our tour will start in midtown Fifth Ave, taking you all the way into the Upper East Side to a section they call Carnegie Hill.

So without further ado, here are the 11 Most Opulent Mansions on Millionaire's Row!

Hi Friends! Join me on chill Sunday afternoon walk around Tribeca in NYC.

Top 10 Expensive New York City Neighborhoods

What are the most expensive neighborhoods in New York City?

Most Expensive Neighborhoods to live in Brooklyn #4

In this video we’ll take a look at one of the most expensive neighborhoods to live in Brooklyn. It’s number 4 on my list of the top four most expensive real estate markets in Brooklyn

West Village. One of the most charming and expensive areas of Manhattan, New York City

The West Village has a rich artistic and bohemian history. It was a hub for artists, writers, musicians, and intellectuals in the 20th century, with figures like Bob Dylan, Jack Kerouac, and Jackson Pollock having lived or spent time here. The neighborhood's creative spirit can still be felt through its many art galleries, theaters, and music venues.

This neighborhood is often referred to as part of Greenwich Village, a larger neighborhood that encompasses the western part of the original Greenwich Village settlement. The terms West Village and Greenwich Village are often used interchangeably, but some locals make a distinction between the two areas

The West Village has a strong sense of community, and it has attracted a mix of residents, including young professionals, artists, families, and long-time locals. Despite being part of a bustling city, the neighborhood maintains a somewhat peaceful and laid-back atmosphere.

Due to its desirability and historical significance, the West Village is one of the most sought-after and expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan. Housing prices tend to be higher compared to other areas of the city, and the real estate market can be competitive

Fun fact: one of the main characters of Sex In The City, Carrie Bradshaw, portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker, lived in a fictional West Village apartment throughout much of the series.

The West Village apartment of Carrie Bradshaw became iconic and synonymous with her character's fashionable and glamorous lifestyle
