Today in South Eastern Turkey, I met Sultan Kösen -- AKA THE WORLD'S TALLEST MAN!!!
I first heard about Sultan in 2009, when he was awarded a Guinness World Record title for his astounding height of 251 centimeters, or 8 feet 2 inches -- that's almost 3 feet taller than me!
Even though Sultan is a giant on the outside, I realized that he's incredibly gentle, warm, and friendly on the inside. We were all laughing for the 3 hours we spent together.
This was a very special video to make because Sultan invited us into his house, in a tiny village, where his parents (surprisingly) cooked us breakfast after the interview. It was an amazing experience, and quite an emotional morning after hearing about some of the struggles that Sultan has been through in his life (i.e. needing to get multiple surgeries to stop his growth)... But nowadays, he is as happy as can be!

After the question about the name Swetlana: Sanjay had previously told us that Swetlana's parents had spent some time in Russia and had thought of the name after their time there.
Sanjay had previously told us that Swetlana had traveled to Singapore and Australia with the Indian national netball team.
In previous films and articles Swetlana had talked of her desire to be a movie star or sports star, the birth of her son has seemed to have changed her priorities. Karan was now setting his own records and maybe taking some of the pressure off Swetlana, from her husband and the Indian media.
Swetlana now has the responsibility of guiding Karan and helping him deal with the challenges that come with being a record breaker.
With his mother's advise and a very healthy appetite, there is every chance that Karan could one day grow to be the tallest man in India, if not the world
