I have lived between a week and a few months on the most famous Thai islands and will share with you my personal experience with each place. There are so many Thai islands, which one should you choose? It really depends on your holiday mood. This video will give you an overview of Thailand’s best islands. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below and I will be happy to answer.
????️ Quick summary of Thailand’s most popular islands and my favorite beaches on each island. The islands (and beaches) are organized by order of personal preference - best to least favorite:
1. Koh Kut (Koh Kood) – Ban Ao Jak, Bang Bao Beach, Klong Chao Beach.
2. Koh Phangan – Haad Rin (Full Moon beach), Haad Yuan, Bottle Beach, Koh Ma Beach, Chalok Lam Beach.
3. Koh Kradan – The main beach.
4. Koh Phi Phi – Both beaches on the island are fantastic and 5min walking distance from one another.
5. Koh Mak – Ao Soun Yai Beach, Ao Kao Beach, the “Lazy Day” beach.
6. Koh Chang – Klong Prao Beach, Klong Kloi.
7. Koh Samui – Chaweng beach, Lamai Beach.
8. Koh Tao- Sairee Beach, Ao Hin Wong, Tanote Bay, Aow Leuk.
9. Koh Lanta – Long Beach, Klong Kong, Klong Nin.
10. Koh Muk (Koh Mook) – Sivalai Beach.
11. Railay – Railay Beach (it does not matter where you stay as all the beaches are within walking distance from one another).

In the 1990s a film crew decided that Maya Bay, on the island of Phi Phi Leh in southern Thailand, was the kind of heaven-on-earth idyll where a group of people who wanted to rebuild society from scratch might settle.
The Beach, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was released in the year 2000. Based on the book by Alex Garland, it tells the story of a backpacker's search for a legendary beach untouched by tourism. Obviously things turn sour in paradise.
Since then this tiny, but now iconic, strip of sand has topped bucket lists of people around the world consumed by wanderlust.
Already high, the volume of visitors to the area saw an astonishing spike in 2016 when Chinese tourists started coming in large numbers

In Thailand, the term ladyboy is commonly used to refer to transgender women or individuals who were assigned male at birth but identify and live as women. Thailand is known for its relatively accepting and tolerant attitude toward gender diversity, and many transgender individuals in the country have a visible presence in society. Today, I'll be going on a date with Chinni, a proud ladyboy in Bangkok as I try to learn more about her and her experiences of being a ladyboy in the country over huskies, a Muay Thai session and a lovely dinner date.
