Beware of THIS in New Zealand!

Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.

They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.

This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.

If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.

There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.

Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.

Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

Japan (part 2) Vacation Travel Video Guide

In the first part of our journey through Japan we visited many extraordinary places, and this episode is no exception.

Osaka is the third largest city in Japan, was once the country's most important trading centre. Toyotomi Hideyoshi had a large castle built around it which emerged the first great blossoming of a self-confident bourgeois culture. What can be seen and visited today is a faithful replica of the original fortress.

The port city of Kobe, located west of Osaka, is still in the world's memory when the catastrophe of the 1990’s can no longer be recognized in the Chinese quarter. On January 17th, 1995 whole districts and the harbour area were completely destroyed by the devastating quake of which there were six thousand victims. Following the disaster, both Meriken Park and the Harbour were built in front of an almost utopian skyline.

From Osaka, the Koya Express leads to the monastery mountain of Koya San, one of the most important and oldest places of pilgrimage in the country and travels up the fascinating mystical mountain. Daimon, the Great Gate, served as the entrance to Mount Koya, defended by the Guardian Deities. In 816 A.D., Kobo Daishi, founder of the Shingon School, had the first monastery built, which was subsequently followed by 124 temple buildings. The nine hundred metre high monastery mountain is one of the country’s most important and oldest pilgrimage sites.

On August 6, 1945, at 8:15 in the morning, the first American nuclear bomb in history was dropped over Hiroshima. It exploded five hundred and eighty metres above the so-called Atom Bomb Dome, an apocalyptic moment that brought indescribable suffering. The skeleton of the former Chamber of Commerce was preserved as a peace memorial and is now the central point of the much-visited Peace Park.

Wadi Rum (Jordan) Vacation Travel Video Guide

Travel video about destination Wadi Rum in Jordan.
Around fifty kilometres from the Jordanian city of Aqaba is one of the most fascinating desert landscapes in the world, the Wadi Rum. Despite its desolate terrain and hostile environment the region was first inhabited several thousand years ago. The beauty of the mountains has inspired several authors the most famous of whom was Englishman, Thomas Edward Lawrence. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Lawrence Of Arabia, as he became known, visited the Wadi Rum on several occasions. It is no coincidence that one of the region's magnificent rock formations bears the same name as that given by Lawrence to his famous autobiography, The Seven Pillars Of Wisdom. One of the most popular destinations in this region and also one of the most famous landmarks of the Wadi Rum is the imposing rock bridge situated at Djebel Burdah. It is a natural work of art: the Um Fruth Rock Bridge is a further impressive example of the powerful forces of erosion that for millions of years have created what is visible today. The thing that makes the Bedouin police a little different is their mode of transport. For centuries the camel has been the loyal servant of those who inhabit this region. Gone are the days when the Bedouin possessed camel herds that numbered a hundred thousand and yet age old traditions still play an important role in the everyday life of the people. The Wadi Rum is well worth a visit!

Souq Waqif Qatar | Shopping with Entertainment | سوق واقف | Wisdom Prime | Relaxation | Meditation

BE IN THIS WORLD AS A TRAVELER Thanks for watching. If you liked this video, make sure to subscribe for more! If you are looking for a wonderful place to shop, to dine, to explore or simply sitting at one of the many attractive outdoor cafe to watch the world pass by, look nowhere but Souq Waqif in Doha.

For centuries, this location has been a souq for Bedouin (nomads who have historically inhabited the Arabian and Syrian Deserts.) to take the wool and animals to trade for daily necessities. With time pass, the souq started to run down and has almost get to the point of being demolished. Luckily, in 2004, it was decided to preserve this historical site so the entire market area has been renovated and restored according to the traditional Qatari architectural techniques. It’s probably the only traditional souq left in the Gulf.

Besides the main street, don’t forget to explore the labyrinth like alleyways to find more stores. Here, you will find both souvenirs for tourists and shopping for locals – from fabric, spices, and perfume to garden equipment and pets. Happy exploring!

Most of the shops close at noon till 4 p.m. So it’s best to find a cafe or restaurant and enjoy a good lunch. They do open all day. Maybe you should try the shisha too if you haven’t done so.

Vietnam Vacation Travel Video Guide

Travel video about destination Vietnam.
North Vietnam is still ruled by communism but in the south the hammer and sickle fades into capitalism that is gradually beginning to dominate all. One country and two lifestyles, Vietnam has opened up its borders. It is a country of beautiful landscapes, amicable people and a great cultural heritage.Hanoi is North Vietnam’s lively capital city located in the north of the country and set amid the delta plains of the Red River. The Chua Mot Cot Pagoda is one of the oldest religious buildings in Hanoi and is a temple built upon a single column in the centre of a small lake. On the shores of the Song Huong, Giang in the heart of Vietnam is a former royal city and today’s provincial capital of Hué. Nine mighty canon are the symbolic guards of the historic citadel. Beyond its defences are five hundred hectares that contain the Imperial City and also the Forbidden Purple City. Da Nang’s Cham Museum contains a fine collection of Cham sculpture from the surrounding provinces. It boasts more than three hundred exhibits divided into ten rooms, with sandstone deities, monsters and heavenly dancers. With nearly six million inhabitants, Saigon is also known as Ho Chi Minh City. The Jade Pagoda, the Temple of the Jade Emperor, highlights the country’s religious faith. The interior features Daoism in all its splendour and it was here that it all began, at the junction of the Ben Nghe Canal on the slowly flowing Saigon River. Vietnam is a colourful land that still contains ancient tribes and exotic landscapes – a fascinating paradise located on the exotic edge of South East Asia!
