Sydney Model Railway Exhibition - October Long Weekend 2018
From Saturday 29th September, to Monday 1st October 2018, the annual Sydney Model Railway Exhibition was held at the Whitlam Leisure Centre at Liverpool, NSW. There were a number of layouts in different scales, such as HO/OO, G, O, N, etc. There were also a number of organisations at the event as exhibitors, such as Auscision, Austrains, SDS Models, AlcoWorld, ARHS NSW, and many more.
We visited the exhibition on Sunday 30th September. Here is the footage we took from the event. Footage taken on an iPhone 6S.

2018 Oct 13 Elizabethan Model Railway Society Annual Exhibition
It's model railway show season again! Here's video I shot at the Elizabethan Railway Society model railway show, in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. Another small local show, which is nice (especially on my poor tired back when there's not too many layouts to film!).

Worthing Model Railway Exhibition September 2018
Worthing Model Railway Exhibition held at Durrington High School on Saturday 29th September 2018 (also held Sunday 30th). A fabulous exhibition as always. This video is highlights of some of the diesel and electric modern image era layouts as they are my preference. Oak Road (GWR), Hatch End, Melangoose, Dubmill Sidings, Foxwell Lane.
2018 Nov 18 Bassetlaw (North Notts) Railway Society Model Railway Exhibition
This is the final model railway exhibition I have filmed in 2018. This one is the Bassetlaw (North Notts) Railway Society Annual Exhibition, Held at Retford Town Hall, Nottinghamshire.
Some interesting layouts here, with particularly striking use of locomotive sounds on many layouts. And for you Lego fans, a large city built with its own urban railway.
I hope you have all enjoyed seeing these videos over the past year. I hope to cover more in 2019, and would welcome any suggestions you would like to see (within easy reach of the East Midlands, UK, if possible!).

2019 Apr 27 Neepsend (Sheffield) Model Railway Society Exhibition
Back to Sheffield for another model railway show, this time hosted by the Neepsend Model Railway Society and held at the Park Centre, Sheffield.
A very varied show this, and with high-quality modelling on show. Many gauges and countries represented and highlighting an enormous tram and road layout.

Spennymoor Model Railway Show 2018

This is from our trip to the Spennymoor Model Railway show which was held on Saturday 27th October 2018.
I took some footage of some of the model railway layouts that were there and have put them all together for you to enjoy here.
As always this isn't all of the layouts, I took footage of what I could and had time for.
Included is a number of layouts in Next gauge, 00 gauge and 0 gauge recreated many different scenes and eras. They also incorporate steam, diesel and electric trains.

Darlington Model Railway Exhibition 2018
Welcome to my video of the Model railway layouts presented at the 2018 Darlington Model Railway Exhibition held at Darlington's awesome Head Of Steam museum. This was filmed on 01/09/2018
We were once again treated to a wide array of amazing layouts in N gauge, 00 gauge and 0 gauge depicting different eras and countries. This is a collection of the ones I was able to get some footage of.

With Bear Creek Junction being my favorite of the day, the detail in the model and stunning landscape design made it a massive stand out layout for me.
Afterwards we were also able to look in the A1 Steam Locomotive Trusts shed and see the progress of their latest Steam Engine, The Prince Of Wales. You can see some footage of that at the end.

2018 Feb 4 Stafford Model Railway Exhibition
A belated happy new year to everyone. Here's my coverage of the Stafford Mode Railway Exhibition - apologies for the delay, my editing system doesn't like editing a big project like this and corrupts the video regularly.
Here you'll find coverage of all (I hope) the layouts at this year''s show held at the Staffordshire Showground. It was my first visit to the show, though I was familiar with the venue having worked in Stafford a few years back. This was one really big show, on a par with the Derby and Nottingham shows, which I hope to cover again this year.

London Festival of Model Railways 2018
Once again the Alexandra Palace exhibition lived up to the high expectations set by previous shows, with an excellent array of layouts, big, small and everything in between. All the major players in the industry were present, showing their latest models and offering an insight into their future products, although surprisingly one of the country’s most numerous trains is still not represented in model form, the Bombardier “Electrostar”.
All aspects of the hobby were covered, new and second hand models, building a layout, scenery, electronics, digital control, scratch and kit building rolling stock.
The standard of the layouts on show were of the highest order, offering modellers a massive array of ideas to include in their own projects. Please see the list of layouts featured below:

Swansea Model Railway Exhibition 2019
Swansea Railway Modellers' Group held their tenth Model Railway Exhibition at Pentrehafod School in Swansea on 19-20 Sep 2020. SUTV’s Tinotenda Pesanai spoke to many of the enthusiasts in attendance to learn about the layouts being showcased and where their inspiration comes from.
