Welcome to the Appalachian Container cabin in North Carolina- an incredible 3-story container home with sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains.
The home has 3 stories- the bottom floor being mostly storage, the middle floor has all of the living space, and the top floor has another outdoor deck. This is a triple container home made up of 1x40' container and 2x20' containers. We'll be focused mostly on the 40' container.
The interior comes with a well-stocked kitchen, 3 bunk beds, a queen bed, and a nice living room space complete with a gas fireplace and a TV.
Last but not least, this ultra-modern container home was featured in HGTV's show, The Containables, so you know it has to be top-notch!

For our final video at On The Rocks in Georgia, we're touring their 20ft tiny shipping container home called The Belvedere Box!
Located only 15 miles from downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, this Airbnb is part of the On The Rocks compound. On The Rocks is a collection of 3 container home Airbnbs on top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia. All of the homes have some crazy mountain views and face directly toward sunset so don't miss it.
This particular container home has a well-stocked kitchen with a mini fridge, cooktop, and microwave, a queen bed, and a full bathroom, all within the 160sqft of interior space.

Check out this cool tiny 20ft shipping container home! Located in Orderville, Utah, it's placed right in between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon- two gorgeous national parks that I highly suggest people visit.
Despite it only being a little over 100 sq ft, this tiny shipping container home is chock full of amazing amenities like a queen size memory foam bed, a smart TV, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave, a hot plate, and a nicely stocked kitchen.

Lou has learned so much while building three different shipping containers that have become our first family home. In this video, he describes the entire process of going from a shell of a container to a fully insulated, water-tight structure with windows and doors within just 7 days.
Lou and I are big believers in dividing work. Lou is in charge of the entire construction process, while I take care of our son Max. So for me, this was such a special video to watch. I learned so much about his building process, what he's learned during the container build, and the intricate details of our home in a way I didn't know before.

My favorite part of this Airbnb is all of the impressive outdoor space. There are 3 outdoor decks, a hot tub, 2 fire pits, a hammock area, and plenty of comfy outdoor furniture.
The interior is meticulously designed and boasts a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a large dining table, a Smart TV, and high-speed WiFi.

In this episode, we're back in Fredricksburg, Texas touring a 20ft shipping container home Airbnb with a modified layout and rooftop deck!
Outside there is a private fire pit area, access to a creek, a cedar soaking hot tub, and a rooftop deck perfect for dining, yoga, or stargazing. Guests also have access to a shared common space that includes a container pool, a barrel sauna, a hot tub, and more.
Inside there is a modified container layout that includes a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, a king-size bed, a full bathroom, and an efficiency kitchen with key appliances.

Welcome to this tiny house village out in Orderville, Utah!
This tiny home community features three modern tiny houses and five 20' tiny shipping container homes.
In this video, I'll be focusing more on an overall tour of the tiny village and a tour of one of the tiny houses.

Each tiny house is 240 sq ft and has a modern yet rustic vibe to it. They all come with a pull out sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a nicely stocked kitchen with a fridge and stovetop, a full bathroom, and over a dozen gorgeous windows that allow the natural light to stream in.

While I normally showcase Airbnbs meant more for couples, family vacations, and romantic getaways, I could see a lot of students and maybe young professionals potentially renting one of these living pods.
The property is a 2-story triple shipping container home with 3 separate units. You can either rent all 3 units together if traveling with a group or family or rent each unit individually if traveling solo or living/working in Houston long-term for an affordable rate.
Each unit has a modern feel to it (especially the bathrooms) and comes with a nice kitchenette and other amenities like a Smart TV, outdoor deck space, water dispenser, ironing board, and more.
