Stunning China (UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Guilin and Yangshuo in China)
Stunning aerial footage of Guilin and Yangshuo (China) shot with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+. Both these regions are UNESCO World Heritage sites and are a MUST for anyone visiting this part of the world. The geography and topography of these regions are unique and must be seen to be believed.
The Beauty of Guilin | Southern China (4K)
It was a long dream of mine to visit this unique area around Guilin, Yangshou and Xingping in Asia. To be honest, it was on the very top of my bucket list. Now I finally made it to this picturesque landscape in the south of China and I should not be disappointed.
The karst peaks of Southern China are one of my favorite landscapes. But also capturing the Kormorant fishing on Li river, as it used to be centuries ago, was a big highlight. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot with Mr. Huang Gao Hui, one of the famous fishermen in Xingping. I was able to document a tradition that is unfortunately dying out, like many others, due to the increase of tourism in our ever developing world. The fact is, this man now earns far more through tourism that he would have done catching and selling fish locally.

Li River Cruise, Guangxi, China [Amazing Places 4K]
The four hour Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo passes through spectacular karst peaks scenery, making it top tourist attraction in China.
Also views over Yangshuo from the peak known as the TV tower, and from short boat trip from Fuli (down the river from Yangshuo) before sunset.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China.
This is a video of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China. China has 55, ranking top in the world along with Italy.
Of these 37 are cultural heritage sites, 14 are natural heritage sites, and 4 are cultural and natural (mixed) sites, ranking first in the world.
China ratified The Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on 12 December 1985. These sites comprise some of the most essential part of China's valuable and rich tourism resources.

Guangxi is located in southern part of China. Guangxi is highly scenic area which offers beautiful natural landscapes such as unique mountains, rocks, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, caves and of course…dear friends…you name it, they have it.
Guangxi is an autonomous region of the People's Republic of China. Its current capital is Nanning. The Guangxi has very ancient history over 2500 years.

Hosted by the China National Tourism Organization, CNTO.org, #BeautifulChina: Journey through the World Heritage was a special event at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Multiple leaders in diplomacy, government, tourism and culture all spoke about the 5,000 years of Chinese heritage. Presentations included music, opera and an overview of all 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China.

Durante dos magníficos días disfrutamos de Guilin y sus alrededores. El primer día subimos la colina Xianggong y disfrutamos de sus vistas al rio Li, visitamos un mercado tradicional, bajamos en balsa por el río Yulong y vimos su pesca tradicional con cormoranes.
El segundo día dimos una buena caminata por las terrazas de arroz de Longsheng y comimos en casa de una señora de la minoría étnica Zhuang, (todo sin gluten) gracias a nuestra guía Wendy, de la agencia Wendy Wei Tours que se encargó de que todo fuera más que perfecto.

Amazing Nature in China (around Guilin) | The Long Road Ep. 53
China offers many amazing landscapes, tiny villages and beautiful sceneries. Some of them can be found, a short drive away from Guilin in the Guangxi Province. From Guilin we first headed north, to see the rice terraces in PingAn. A few days later we went south to XingPing(Zhen), a tiny village at the river surrounded by mountains. Our last destination was another village right outside of Yangshuo (Chao Yang Village).

The long Road is a journey from Germany all the way to Nepal, through the middle east, following the old silk road, China and South-East Asia. The whole journey will be overland (no planes, UFOs or portals) and put together into short videos on this channel :)
