Strawberry Fields Studio
During the summer 2020 we built a massive studio for streaming and digital events at Quality Hotel Friends in Stockholm, Sweden. Right next to Westfield Mall of Scandinavia and Friends Arena.
The studio is made of three different spaces. The presentation space in the middle, with a high-res LED-Screen and a custom-made studio table. Perfect for presentations, keynotes and webinars.
To the right we have a space for panel discussions and debates. This section is set up with six GAP design chairs and two custom-built coffee tables. Behind the panel there is a wall mixed with wooden installations and the same high-res LED-Screen as in the center.
To the left there is a space made for artists and live-performances with a massive stage and over 50 moving lights such as Ayrton Magic Panel 602 and Martin Viper Performance.
The studio is built in a 2000sqm event hall with unique possibilities to make hybrid events with up to 800 guests in the studio room using COVID-19 safety distance of 1,5 m between the chairs.
The complete build and technical solution was made by us, EDGE Design & Technology. We provide design and technical solutions for events, expo and meetings. We are based in Stockholm and operate in Sweden and Northern Europe. Please visit for more info.

History in Pi Minutes is a series where I look at some popular topics in Disney or Theme Park History and cover them in a bite size format.
Today we are gonna look at the story of the Backlot Tour which had both a tram section and a walking section when Disney's MGM Studios Theme Park opened. But as years went on and the few productions that were filmed there stopped, the tour started breaking apart until eventually the 2 hour experience was just a 15 minute long ride. Although the Backstage Pass studio tour (the walking tour of the Disney backlot) lasted for a few years even after it separated from the tour.
The original tour passed through Residential Street ( Featuring the Golden Girls House and Herbie the Love Bug ), New York Street, The Boneyard, Catastrophe Canyon, and much more!
