Pakistani Street Food - GOAT FEET JACUZZI + Tour of Walled City of Lahore, Pakistan!

Huge thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market):

Pakistan travel guide:

This is Day 2 of our trip to Pakistan. In this video we went on a Pakistani street food tour of the Walled City of Lahore, one of the oldest and most fascinating areas of the city. The Walled City is a maze of ancient alley, street food, and markets that never seem to end. It’s one of the best places in Lahore to explore and go on a food tour.

Phajja Siri Paye - This restaurant is a must eat when you’re in Lahore, famous for serving a dish called paya - goat trotters stew. Their massive pan, which I believe never stops bubbling or cooking, is packed full of goat feet trotters that slow simmer until fall apart tender. It’s a deliciously thick and meaty Pakistani dish to start your morning.
Total price - 1,300 PKR ($9.70)

Haleem - During my time in Lahore, haleem was probably the most surprisingly delicious dish I encountered. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be much, but sprinkled with boiling desi ghee, and seasoned with spices and herbs, it was truly incredible - so good I had to have a plate re-full. He wouldn’t charge us, thank you!

Wazir Khan Mosque

Dahi bhalay - 100 PKR ($0.75) - Next on this street food tour of the Walled City of Lahore, we came across a stall selling dahi bhalay, yogurt marinated lentil puffs. It was delicious and refreshing.

Chole bhature - 30 PKR ($0.22) - Next to the dahi bhalay was chole bhature, a dish of stewed chickpeas, seasoned with onions and achar pickle.

Fruit chaat - One of the best Pakistani snacks of the day was the fruit chaat, a massive bowl of chopped fruit, seasoned with apricot chutney and pomegranate. Again, he wouldn’t charge us, thank you!

Dhaba restaurant - Finally to finish this food tour, for a late lunch we went to a local dhaba, a local street side restaurant, that served a mix of Pakistani food. It was here I came across the fastest roti maker I’ve ever seen and we ordered a mix of different curries to share. After a delicious meal, we ended with dude pathi, pure milk tea.
Total price - 850 PKR ($6.34)

Badshahi Mosque - After our late lunch, we headed over to Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque, two of the most significant and historical sites of Lahore.

It was an amazing day exploring and eating through Lahore, a city that’s packed culture, history, friendly people, and delicious food.

Again, massive thank you to Ali, from Pakistan Travel Mart for hosting us in Pakistan, taking us around, and organizing everything.

Street Food in Pakistan - ULTIMATE 16-HOUR PAKISTANI FOOD Tour in Lahore, Pakistan!

Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market):
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week:
T-shirts and caps:

Also, just published a full Pakistan travel guide:

I’m very excited to share this first full street food in Pakistan video with you! We started our trip in Lahore, a vibrant, colorful, and packed full of food city. Our first day in Lahore turned out to be a 16 hour street food marathon in Lahore, and it was an amazing day!

Get more details on my Pakistan Travel Guide:

Sadiq Halwa Puri ( - We began the day with a very common breakfast throughout Pakistan, halwa puri, but along with chana curry (chickpea curry). We ate off the car, enjoying every bit of the freshly fried puris and curry.
Total price - 640 PKR ($4.78)

Chacha Feeka Lassi ( - Next we drove over to Gawalmandi, one of the most legendary areas in Lahore for food. We headed straight to a breakfast staple, the lassi shop and had the most creamy heavy milkshake I’ve ever had, called a pera lassi.

Roasted chickpeas - 25 PKR ($0.19) - After exiting an alley, right in front of us was a man selling chickpeas and corn roasted in black Himalayan salt. It’s a very common street food snack in Pakistan.

Sweet potato - 80 PKR ($0.60) - Sweet potato is also a very common street food snack in Lahore, seasoned with masala and a type of citrus juice.

Baba Kulfi Wala - Next we headed over to Shah Alami Market, another huge and bustling market in Lahore.

Kulfi - 20 PKR ($0.15) each - One of the most famous places to eat ice cream in Lahore is Baba Kulfi Wala, and you’ll find a crowd of people standing around the corner of the road eating sticks of their famous kulfi.

Orange juice - 50 PKR ($0.37)

Chana chaat - 120 PKR ($0.89) per plate - One of my personal favorite Pakistani street food snacks of the day was chana chaat, a chickpea snack. He added in all sorts of spices, chutneys, and seasonings, to create a deliciously refreshing snack.

Butt Karahi Tikka Restaurant - Easily one of the most well known restaurants in Lahore is Butt Karahi, specializing in curry made in a rounded pan, called a karahi (we will be eating a lot of karahi’s in Pakistan!). We ordered both a mutton karahi and chicken karahi. Both were amazing, filled with spices and butter, but the tenderness of the mutton was the winner.
Total price - 5,600 PKR ($41.84)

Siddique Fish Corner - You’ll notice that Lahore seems to come alive at night, and street food is everywhere at night. We began the evening with Siddique Fish Corner, one of the best fried fish stalls in Lahore. It was awesome, and so busy.
Total price - 400 PKR ($2.99)

Khalifa Balochi Sajji - Another Pakistani dish I wanted to try was chicken sajji, a type of hand rotisserie chicken. The atmosphere and cooking method was incredible.
Total price - 390 PKR ($2.91)

Khan Baba Restaurant - Finally for our last dinner on this 16 hour day of food in Pakistan, we went to one of Ali’s favorite restaurants in Lahore, Khan Baba. The goat chops were impressive as was the korma curry.

Again, massive thank you to Ali, from Pakistan Travel Mart for hosting us in Pakistan, taking us around, and organizing everything.

KARACHI, PAKISTAN - When it comes to Pakistani food, Karachi is a heaven on earth with a multitude of delicious and meaty things to eat. On our last visit to Karachi (street food tour: ) we weren’t able to eat some of the things I really wanted to try, so I was happy to be back in this massive food city in Pakistan!

Biryani - In the previous episode of Pakistani street food in Karachi (you can watch it here: ), we ate biryani from a very friendly man who sets up his shop just outside Kaiser Restaurant. While I was off filming my intro to this video, Ali and Joel decided to have appetizer biryani. It was just as good as before and his friendly smile and delicious food represent Pakistan. Located just outside Kaiser Restaurant, go check them out!

Kaiser Restaurant - One of the main things Ali and I wanted to eat last trip to Pakistan but they were closed the day we were filming and we ran out of time is Kaiser Restaurant, famous for their whole grilled mutton legs smothers in Masala. We order three of them, covered in masala and one extra spicy. The meat was incredibly delicious and the masala sauce was unbelievable. We had a great time and delicious food. Price - 1,700 PKR ($12.08) per mutton leg

Since we had some time in the afternoon, we stopped at the beach to walk around. At the beach we met Lion King!

Geo Gola Corner - Possibly the world’s sweetest dessert, gola ganda is a mashup of shaved ice, ice cream, and all candy and syrups you can think of in the world. Not really for me, but it was amazing to see them make it and assemble it.

Cool Inn - Chaat refers to any of the very common savory snacks common throughout the Indian subcontinent. My favorite is pani puri, and my wife Ying loves dahi puri. But here at Cool Inn which is a famous Pakistani street food chaat spot, Ali and I both loved their special chaat. Price - Around 100 PKR ($0.71) per plate

Anwar Baloch Restaurant - Finally to wrap up this Pakistani street food tour in Karachi, we drove over to Anwar Baloch Restaurant known for their karahi curries. They serve an abundance of goat, but we opted for the prawns karahi. It was one of the richest, and most spice filled, and spicy karahis I’ve had in Pakistan so far.

It was another amazing day of food in Karachi, Pakistan!

Big thank you for my friend Ali ( for making this happen!

KARACHI, Sindh, Pakistan

From the mountains on Hunza Valley, we flew to Karachi, on the Arabian sea, and a world of difference from the mountains. I was happy to be in Karachi to discover the amazing street food, and it didn’t let us down!

Here are the things we ate on this ultimate Pakistani street food tour of Karachi, Pakistan:

Javed Nihari - I’ve probably said this a few times, but there’s no meatier breakfast (maybe in the world) than nihari, a meat stew that’s often paired with plenty of desi ghee and either brains of bone-marrow. It’s truly a breakfast of meat loving champions, but it is filling and heavy, and so good. Javed Nihari is one of the best places in Karachi to eat nihari.
Total price - 1,150 PKR ($8.42)

Burns Road - We continued on to Burns Road, one of the legendary street food streets in Karachi. It was a Sunday morning and there were elections happening, so Burns road wasn’t actually that busy. But we did find a few delicious things to try.

Arabian paratha - The Arabian paratha, or mataba, or any other names it has across Asia is a stuffed roti. In this case he filled it with chicken and spices and egg before wrapping it up and shallow frying it. It was delicious.
Price - 120 PKR ($0.88)

Matka kulfi - Also on Burns Road is a maka kulfi shop where they sell Pakistani ice cream in little clay cups. The pistachio and saffron were the best.
Price - 50 PKR ($0.37) each

Rabri - I’m not huge on sweets, but on Burns Road we need to try rabri.
Price - 200 PKR ($0.88)

Chicken biryani - Just randomly walking around we decided to try our first plate of Karachi biryani - and Karachi is known for their biryani. It was simple, but very good, with a wonderful flavor of dried lime, and it was just a very cool spot.
Price - 80 PRK ($0.59)

Liaquatabad - We continued this Pakistani street food tour of Karachi in Liaquatabad a busy market area, full of street food.

Qadri Nalli Biryani - This was the highlight of the food tour, if not one of the best dishes of my entire trip to Pakistan. Nalli biryani, Pakistani bone marrow biryani is one of the best things ever.
Price - They wouldn’t charge us

Salad - His ninja chopping skills brought me in and there was no way I couldn’t stop to eat his salad. Amazing!
Price - 40 PKR ($0.28)

MashAllah Fish Katakat - The next meal we had was MashAllah Fish Katakat, and a dish called katakat. Most of the time its prepared with organs, but this was with fish, and it was again one of the best dishes I ate in Pakistan. An amazing combination of fish, spices, and chutney.

Landhi Dairy Colony - Next we headed to the biggest buffalo colony in Asia, maybe the world. Over 700,000 - 800,000 cattle and livestock live within this area that is within Karachi, Pakistan. It was fascinating to visit and drink the freshest buffalo milk possible.

Dua Restaurant - Finally for dinner we finished this Karachi street food tour at Dua Restaurant, a huge restaurant serving grilled meat and karahis. The prawns karahi was the highlight for me.
Total price - 4,840 PKR ($35.45)

It was an amazing day of street food in Karachi, Pakistan!

Today, I'm (The Food Ranger, Trevor James) bringing you in DEEP into Karachi, Pakistan, for a FULL ON street food tour! We're tasting INCREDIBLE Golden Chicken Biryani, different from Golden Pulao, but still an amazingly delicious Pakistani food!

►The BEST VPNs For China:

Karachi is one of the oldest and most vibrant cities in the world and has one of the BEST street food scenes too! You need to travel to Pakistan to try the street food, especially the BIRYANI in Karachi!

Today, we're bringing you Foodrangin' for LOTS of TRADITIONAL and AUTHENTIC Pakistan Street Food - including the AMAZING GOLDEN Chicken Biryani at Al Rehman Biryani! We're also having brain takatak (katakat) and some incredible Pakistani seafood in Karachi too!

This is RARE and DELICIOUS, and worth traveling to Pakistan for! You have to taste this food at least once in your lifetime!

When you travel to Karachi, you will fall in love with the street food as soon as you arrive! Today, we're starting out with an UNSEEN Chicken biryani, where the masters prepare biryani for 100's of people every day! This is all prepared by local chefs in Karachi using PURE karachi style masalas!

It was found in downtown Karachi in an old area where there is street food everywhere! The basmati rice was the FLUFFIEST I've ever tasted and the potatoes were MASSIVE and soft!

After this, we're going DEEPER into Karachi to Burns road, where there are 1000's of street foods and stalls to visit! This is before we bring you to a MASSIVE Pakistani SEAFOOD feast on the beachside in Karachi, right on the Arabian sea!

Next up, we're going to a local Pakistan street food served right on the street side, the KARACHI HALEEM, found right on burns road! We got invited into the kitchen to see how the chefs prepare the haleem using their Pakistani recipes, it was absolutely amazing to watch it being prepared! There was so much chicken, masala, and pulses all being ground up to make the haleem! But this was just the beginning, after this we found the most INSANE Street Food in Pakistan!

After tasting the haleem at Karachi Haleem, it was evening time and needed some street food to try before going to our Pakistani seafood feast. We found ourselves in a local alley in Karachi and found the CRAZIEST BRAIN FRY (bheja fry) with tomato! It was full of masala, brain, and also tons of oil! To be honest, it was quite heavy for me, but maybe once in a whilie it's OK to eat!

After this, we're meeting with our buddy Ali and he is taking us to his friends Shehroze and Alizeh's seaside home for a HUGE Pakistani SEAFOOD feast right on the ARABIAN SEA! To me, this was some of the most unique food in Pakistan, especially being able to watch the cooking process of all the different seafoods! We had red snapper with a tamarind sauce, HUGE lobsters cooked in masala and ghee, crab claw LOLLIPOPS, calamari, shrimp curry, and more! It was SO TASTY!

After this, the next day, we made our way back into Karachi to visit the super famous Fish TAKATAK (katakat) at Mashalla Takatak! It uses sole fish and tons of masala, onions (piyaz), and coriander! It was amazing to watch the chopping and grilling of the fish in oil! Another famous seafood dish to try in Karachi! It was so UNIQUE!

And for our final meal, we went to taste a WHOLE LAMB leg roast over the fire!!! It was amazing to taste, and the cooking process took over 2 hours! As it was being prepared, we watched the master chefs sprinkle local masala over it and also sprinkle it with lime after it was done!

I hope you're enjoying this big Pakistani street food video series! Thanks so much for watching, I would love to hear from you down below!

►3 Months FREE on ExpressVPN and 49% OFF!

Village food in Pakistan is very delicious, perhaps even more delicious than street food in Pakistan! One of the most unique foods in this food video in Pakistan we tried was the saag spinach and mustard curry combined with the COW DUNG FUEL tandoor oven that cooked the paratha in!

In this village cooking video, Granny is cooking up a ton of local specialties, and we are going for a village tour to see how the locals live! We ride a buffalo, visit the cow dung drying area, and taste some of the local well water!

When we arrived in Saim's family village, one of the things that really struck me is how happy everyone is. The local way of life is very relaxing and calming! We were invited to his home and watched Saim's granny cooking up all of her village secrets! The Pakistani village recipes were amazing to taste! This was the trip of a lifetime!

We watched Saim's granny preparing paratha and also some corn flour paratha, SUPER TASTY chicken curry prepared by granny, and also some amazing desserts too! Watching it all was breathtaking!

Thanks so much for watching!

Pakistani Street Food in Lahore!! Legendary TAWA CHICKEN in Taxali Gate | Lahore, Pakistan

???????? MANAKY:
???? MANAKY:

After arriving in Lahore, I was so excited to continue exploring the city’s cuisine that my food adventures continued well into the night! Come with me as I dive further into the world of Pakistani street food, including the legendary tawa chicken in Taxali Gate Bazaar in Lahore, Pakistan!

My evening began at the historical complex that contains Jahangir’s Tomb, one of the most important sites in the city. Jahangir was the fourth Mughal emperor. My guides Rashid and Adeel from Manaky and I were pumped to explore more of the city together!

???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH:

The complex is made up of three important sites: Jahangir’s Tomb, Asif Khan’s Tomb, and Akbari Sarai. Our first stop, Akbari Sarai, is a series of tombs and caravan inn, or sarai, that was built in 1637.
The main gate to the tomb is very beautiful and features stunning Mughal-era architecture. The colors were bright and vibrant!

All Mughal architecture sites featured water channels and fountains, and this site is the same. There are water channels flowing in all four directions from the main building. The actual tomb reminded me of the “Baby Taj” in Agra, India.

The walls are made of red sandstone and are imported from Rajasthan. There are also marble inlays. The designs feature flowers and other geometric designs and are really intricate.

We took off our shoes to head inside to see the white marble tomb, which had intricate flower designs and verses from the Koran on it. Then, we got stunning bird’s-eye views of the entire complex from the roof and from one of the minarets!

Next, we hopped in the car and drove to a Taxali Gate Bazaar. Right next to it is the biggest mosque in Lahore, which is gigantic! Unfortunately, we couldn’t go inside with cameras, as they only allow phones.

We headed down the bustling food street, where we saw tons of vendors selling malai, biscuits, barbecue, and more. The famous chicken tawa place wouldn’t be open for another 30 minutes, so we continued exploring.

I wanted to get a snack from a vendor! I got some dal chawal, which is a yellow dal stew with chicken served on top of rice with cabbage salad on the side.

It was delicious and wasn’t too spicy, but it did contain a lot of black pepper! The consistency was nice and pasty and the salad added a refreshing crunch.

Next, I tried chana pulao, a rice dish containing white chickpeas. This pulao was spicy and also came with a salad and raita. I loved the heat!

Then, we got some spicy and moist aloo pulao, which contained big chunks of potatoes. After that, we passed vendors selling kebabs, fried chicken, naan, organic chicken soup, and beef kebabs!

The beef kebabs were super juice and made of mincemeat. I loved the onions and herbs in it!

Once we reached the end of the street, we doubled back to the tawa chicken at Arif Chatkhara House.

The dish contains masala, yogurt, ghee, and green chilies. The fumes from the chilies hit you even when you stand near the cooks! The yogurt makes it really creamy.

The vendor was super nice and even let me try my hand at helping him make the tawa chicken!

We ate right in front of the vendor as he cooked. The chicken tawa with some chapati was the most unique chicken dish I’ve ever had! It’s one of my top 3 chicken dishes ever!

It was juicy, spicy, creamy, and a little crispy because it’s grilled. It had the smoothness of the yogurt, the ghee flavor, and the delicious taste of the masalas.

The drumstick and the breast were unbelievable. Even though it was loaded with chilies, it actually wasn’t too hot. I could see why it’s such an iconic dish in Lahore!

Thanks to Ali and Shehroze for hosting me.

Lyari Town is one of the eighteen constituent towns of Karachi, known as Little or Mini Balochistan. Just a few years ago, Lyari was ruled by gangs, and known for its brutal violence and unrest. But recently things have changed for the better.

We wanted to visit Lyari, Karachi, for one because I didn’t have a chance to visit Balochistan on my trip to Pakistani, and for two - in our very short visit, to share a story of people, hope, and those who are making a difference.

After walking around one of the colorful neighborhoods, we jumped in a rickshaw to go find breakfast. Not totally sure where we ended up, but we found a man who was extremely friendly and hospitable and a popular place to eat breakfast.

His food scooping skills were impressive!

The food was delicious, and the entire experience was memorable and rewarding.

Pakistani Street Food ???????? Chicken Karahi Recipe!! | Street Food At Home Ep. 1

????Pakistani Street Food Tour:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Street Food at Home - Pakistani street food style chicken karahi recipe. Cook and eat #withme #streetfoodathome #Pakistan #PakistaniFood #recipes

Traveling through Pakistan for the amazing food with my friend Ali Hamdani ( was one of the most memorable trips I’ve taken. If there’s one single dish that represents the incredible food, culture, and community of Pakistan, it has to be a karahi.

In this video, we’re heading to the street food cart at home, and we’re going to cook an authentic Pakistani street food chicken karahi recipe. Let’s get started!

Ingredients (and please note, these are estimates, I’m a firm believer in taste testing, so feel free to add more or less according to your taste):

1 chicken - about 1 kg, could be more
¼ cup oil - vegetable oil with high smoke point

8 cloves of garlic
50 grams ginger
Salt to taste
5 tomatoes - up to you depending on how tomatoey you want it

1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garam masala
½ tbsp black pepper
½ tsp turmeric powder

10 - 15 green chilies
1 - 2 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves

Slice of butter - at some places they use an entire block of butter per karahi - but at home I used a slice, about 20 grams.

30 grams ginger - julienne slices for garnish
Fresh coriander - handful chopped
More green chilies to garnish on top

Method:

First heat the oil, and fry the chicken until golden on edges.
Peel and pound ginger and garlic, and add to chicken.
Add in salt to taste - ½ tsp first
Toss in the tomatoes, and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. You can add water if it get dry.
When the tomatoes are soft, remove the skin, and mash tomatoes into a sauce. Cook until tomatoes are fully dissolved and chicken is tender.
Add in all the dry spices - cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, garam masala, black pepper, and turmeric powder. Continuously stir, and add water if it gets too dry.
Add sliced green chilies, and fenugreek leaves. Continue to simmer.
Add butter. Continue to simmer, but at this time you want much of the liquid to boil out so you’re left with a thick spice rich sauce.
Julienne the ginger, coarsely chop the coriander leaves, and cut in half some more green chilies. At the end, toss them all in, fold into the chicken, and turn off the heat.
Ready to serve.
Best eaten with any time of flatbread.

Simple roti
250 grams Atta flour
200 ml water - You may need to adjust
